A few hours passed as the police had been searching for Spider Conway but were unable to find him at the moment, They were really angry and were trying to find out who placed the bomb at the boat.

Unfortunately, there was an argument happening in the police department as Alex was yelling at Jack and Benjamin.

Alex: This is ridiculous, Why are you taking me off the case!?

Benjamin: Alex, This is Mayor Real's orders.

Jack: Last year, Spider Conway worked with Rupert Throne, and you were involved in that case as well.

Alex: So, do you think I'm working with Throne?

Benjamin: No, It's not like that. We trust you, Alex. . . . We just need to investigate this further.

Jack; Mayor Real has been just having doubts about you, I can't do anything. . . But I promise I will bring you back.

Alex glared at them and walked away in anger as Jack and Benjamin looked at each other and sighed.

Benjamin: Alex is our friend and partner, I'm sure he had nothing to do with this, but. . . .

Jack: I believe Alex is innocent, but let's just find Conway, We will find a way to bring Alex with us.

Benjamin nodded as Jack was looking through some case files as Benjamin was talking to an officer on the phone while they were trying to figure out where Conway could be.

Meanwhile, Alex was looking through his files until he realised one of his files was missing as he was confused. he just sighed and didn't have time to think about it and just walked away while thinking about what happened.

Meanwhile, in the Bat Cave, Anne was seen reading Alex's file as Bucky was examining a revolver that was dropped at the harbour as Anne said something.

Anne: A real page turner, isn't it?

Bucky: Ambrose was suspected of accepting craft from Throne last year, but the case was dropped for lack of evidence. It was just before Spider Conway went to prison. At the time of his arrest, Conway was working for Thorne.

Anne: So he might know something that Alex doesn't want revealed.

Bucky: The thing is, I don't think Alex would do something like that. He would never join a mob boss like Rupert.

Anne: I also have the same opinion, I know Alex for a while now. He can't do something like that.

Bucky: Sure, you can't think Alex planted that bomb.

Anne: I'm not sure yet what to think. After the explosion, We went out to the island to check out the dock the boat left from, and all we found was a revolver.

Bucky looked at the revolver in his hand as both of them were thinking about something until Anne had an idea in her mind

Anne: I think I'll need to have a talk with Rupert.

Bucky: Really? I don't think he's gonna say anything.

Anne: Simple, I'll make him talk, Then I'll break his bones.

Bucky looked at her and shook his head and imagined how she would beat Rupert and break his bones as she said.

[The next day, Eight p.m]

Someone was seen at the penthouse, and it was revealed to be Rupert Throne, He was known to be ambitious, brutal, and scary to the public, even criminals don't have the guts to face him.

He was smoking a cigarette as Rupert's thugs were standing and guarding the penthouse while speaking to each other until the lights turned off as Rupert gritted his teeth and shouted

Rupert: Turn the stupid lights on!

Rupert's Thug: Just a minute, Sir-

Suddenly, his thug began screaming as the thugs along with Rupert were confused until the thugs saw a figure in the darkness as they all began shooting at the figure, but it was taking them all down.

Rupert got up and looked in shock and felt some fear in his heart as Batwoman took down the thugs, The lights went back on as Anne threw multiple batarangs at the remaining thugs as Rupert was staring at her.

They were stunned by the attack as one of the thugs reloaded their pistol, but Anne quickly threw an explosive pellet, and it exploded as Winters attacked the last thug.

All the thugs were down as Rupert was in shock as Batwoman glared at him before she walked towards him as Rupert gritted his teeth.

Rupert: You're paying for their hospital bills.

Anne: Who's gonna pay for yours?

Anne grabbed his wrist and twisted it as Rupert began screaming and almost fell on his knees, but Anne pulled him back up as Rupert glared at her.

Anne: Here's how it works, slimeball. I have questions, and if you have answers, I'll leave you alone.

Rupert: I got plenty of answers, Bats. Look over there.

Anne turned around and saw multiple armed thugs running towards her as they aimed their gun at her, Anne had a small smirk on her face and pulled Rupert in front of her, Making him a shield as Throne was shocked.

Anne: *Smiles* I was saying, you'd better hope your men are very good shots. . . It's too hot in here. Let's get some air.

Rupert: Wait! Stop! I'll tell you anything you want!

Anne kicked the window as Rupert was screaming and saw how high they were, Winters looked at the thugs before jumping off the window as Rupert was screaming.

She grappled towards a ladder while holding Rupert's broken wrist as she spoke to him.

Anne: Did you order Spider Conway's blow-up?

Rupert: He- that loser? I wouldn't wipe my shoes on him! Conway's got nothing on me! He could talk his head off, no problem!

Anne: Okay.

Anne dropped Thorne as He was screaming but Anne wrapped a rope around him before she dropped him as Rupert was hanging on the ledge and yelled at his thugs.

Rupert: Don't just stand there, you clowns! Get me down!

Meanwhile, Jack and Benjamin were outside the police department, and there was still no sign of Conway, They were thinking about the case until someone jumped to the ground as they saw who it was.

Jack: I've had cats that made more noise than you.

Bucky: We need to talk about Ambrose, Why do you think he's responsible for the bomb?

Benjamin: We don't think he is responsible for the bomb, The thing is, Mayor Real had doubts on Detective Ambrose due to his involvement in Throne's case last year.

Jack: There was evidence that Conway falsely implicated Bullock at the graph.

Bucky: But you have no proof Conway lied.

Benjamin: I know deep down, Alex is innocent, Barnes. He's a great detective.

Bucky: Where do you think Conway went?

Jack: He could be kidnapped, Bucky. I don't think he's running around freely.

Bucky: Is there anyone else that works with Conway?

Benjamin: I don't have a name at the moment, He stopped working with Rupert a long time ago.

Bucky nodded as He grappled away as Jack and Benjamin looked at him before Bucky was gone from their view.

Meanwhile, There was a secret cave and Spider Conway was seen holding a torch and was searching through the dark cave, He has been stuck in the Cave for a day and is trying to find a way to get out of here.

Conway: Is anybody here!? God dang, I can't be stuck in here forever!

Conway was walking and searched around the cave but unknown to him. . .

The mysterious figure was moving towards Conway as He called for help again until he had a strange feeling and turned around.

He noticed the bubbles on the water as he was confused until. . .

Conway was shocked by what he saw as He stepped back in fear.

Conway: No, no! It can't be!!! Stay back!!!

Two hours has passed as an officer who recently joined the police department was looking at the computer while drinking some coffee.

Until he heard loud footsteps as He turned around in confusion and someone standing in front of him.

Officer: Sir?

???: It's me, Alex Ambrose.

Officer: Detective Ambrose?. . . You look different.

Alex: It's probably the new outfit, Hahahaha.

Officer: You still great but why are you wet?

Alex: Don't mind that, Anyways what was your name again?

Officer: It's John. . . I thought you knew my name.

Alex: Sorry, Brain Fart. I want to see Joey the Snail, brought in last night on the six o five. lemme see em.

Officer: I need your authorization-

Suddenly, Alex grabbed the officer's head and smacked him on the wall as he was unconscious, There was little blood coming off from his head as Alex chuckled and walked away.

He made it to the jail cell and opened the cell as Joey saw Alex as he was confused.

Alex: Rise and Shine, Joey!!!

Joey: What-

Ambrose pulled out his hat as Joey was shocked and scared as Joey said something with fear.

Joey: W-W-Who are you!?!?!?

???: Your Worst Nightmare!!!

All that was heard was Joey's screams as evil laughter was heard from the mysterious man.

Meanwhile, Alex was sitting in the cafe all alone as He was thinking about the case, Ambrose was still upset by what happened yesterday and was thinking about speaking to Bella Real about this.

Suddenly, Alex heard police sirens outside the cafe as he was confused, the other civilians in the cafe were also confused as Ambrose got out of the cafe.

He walked outside until he saw police cars surrounding the area as Alex was shocked until an officer walked towards Alex and said something.

Officer: You are under arrest, Mister Ambrose.

Alex stepped back in shock as the officer began handcuffed him as Alex was confused and asked them what was going on.
