It was the next day, and things had been quiet so far, Anne invited Tara over to her manor to hang out, Right now, The girls and even Bucky were seen eating pizza as Anne and Tara were talking to each other while Bucky was silently listening to them until Tara said something.

Tara: This pizza tastes really good.

Anne: I agree, What do you think, James?

Bucky: It's good.

Tara: *Chuckles* You're kinda dry and silent all the time, James.

Anne: He's just kinda shy.

Winters smiled and patted his shoulder as Barnes raised an eyebrow and looked at Anne while eating the pizza, At one point, he really wanted to sit alone in the batcave, but Anne wasn't letting him go

Tara laughed a little as Anne smiled at her before looking at Bucky.

Tara: You two seem adoreble together.

Anne: Are you seriously shipping us?

Bucky: *Confused* What does that mean? Transportation?

Tara: Wait, what? You don't know what shipping means?

Anne: *Chuckles* It means she's trying to pair us up.

He was surprised once he found out the meaning as Anne couldn't help but laugh, Sometimes she found his confusion a bit adoreble. Tara smiled but still continued to give him a strange look.

Tara: You're unique if you don't know the meaning of that.

Bucky: Sorry, I'm not really into this kind of stuff.

He spoke while pouring a glass of juice for himself before he looked at Anne and asked if she wanted a glass, Winters smiled and agreed on it as Tara was smiling at them.

Tara: Alright, one more thing. Would you actually date my best friend?

Anne: Uhh Tara, what are you

Tara: It's just a question, Anne! Don't take it seriously.

Bucky looked at both of them and was caught off guard from the question, He handed two glasses of juice to them as Anne waited for his response before he smiled a little and replied to her.

Bucky: I mean, She's beautiful, kind, caring, and got nerves of steel, so i wouldn't mind dating her.

He took a sip and winked at Anne as Winters stared at him in shock, and Tara had the same reaction. However, she started laughing and bumped her elbow to her best friend.

Tara: Oh my god, did you hear that?

Anne: *Scoffs* Clearly.

Winters sipped her drink and continued staring at him before she smiled at him, feeling her heart beat faster as Bucky smiled at her and clearly meant those words.

Anne: Then again, I wouldn't mind dating you as well.

Tara gasped while Bucky almost choked his drink as Anne smiled at him, He looked at her in shock before rolling his eyes, and while a smile slowly grew on his face. Tara noticed the way they were looking at each other, which made her roll her eyes.

Tara: Do I really have to see flirting between you two? Is this my life now?

The trio shared a laugh together as they continued drinking while talking to each other, Tara and Anne began talking about work as Bucky was listening to them while looking at Anne, Tara noticed this and had a small smile on her face, She could tell there was something going on between them.

An hour passed as the trio were cracking some jokes together while sharing laughter, Tara came up with an interesting question as she looked at Bucky.

Tara: So James, what do you describe yourself? A knife or a spoon?

Tara: Oh really? I think that describes you very well.

Anne looked at Bucky and raised an eyebrow before saying something.

Anne: No, He's actually more of a little spoon.

Bucky: What?

Tara laughed at his reaction as Bucky stared at Anne in confusion as Winters smiled a little and spoke.

Anne: Stating the truth, you just look like a knife.

He narrowed his eyes as Tara continued laughing, Anne just smiled at him before looking at Tara as they continued talking to each other.

Eventually, Tara left the house as they said "bye" to each other, Anne watched her get inside the car before she closed the door as Bucky stood and stared at her while crossing her arms, Winters had a small smile on her face as He said something.

Bucky: Really, Anne? Little Spoon?

Anne: *Chuckles* I know you very well, Bucky. A little spoon describes you.

Bucky: So you're saying you don't take me seriously?

Anne: I mean, I don't think I can. That's also exactly why HYDRA kept a mask on you.

Bucky: . . . . What does that mean?

She looked at him before walking closer to him and gave a smile.

Anne: Because of how handsome you are.

His cold stare faded away, and he couldn't help but smile and let out a chuckle, and Anne knew bringing up HYDRA was going to give him some bad memories, but she tried to make sure it was harmless to say.

Anne: Now, where is that intimidating look?

He chuckled again and wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close as she continued smiling at him.

Bucky: I think you're right about that, but I'm still a knife regardless.

She chuckled and nodded as He said something.

Bucky: You're making us seem like a couple in front of people.

Anne: You were the one pulling some flirt from the 1940s.

They both shared a laugh together until they heard something from Anne's phone that was connected to the batcomputer, She quickly grabbed her phone and noticed there was a crime in progress at a dental hospital at Midtown

[Five Minutes Earlier]

Jack Ryan was parking his car as He got out and looked at the dental hospital, Jack's teeth is still hurting a lot and he is unable to concentrate in any tasks or activities, But deep down he also hated going to hospitals but he had no choice but to get a checkup.

He entered the hospital and fixed his hair as Jack asked the receptionist about his checkup, She told him about the floor and room number as He nodded and began making his way towards his room, Even though he was slightly annoyed by this.

Eventually, he made it to the room as Jack saw his dentist arranging the supplies as Ryan took a deep breath and said something.

Jack: Good evening.

???: Good evening, Have a seat.

Jack shook his head and closed the door while taking a seat, He noticed the dentist was still arranging the supplies as Ryan spoke to him.

Jack: I don't mind saying, I really hate these checkups. If it weren't part of the police physical, I wouldn't be here at all.

The dentist let out a chuckle by what the commissioner said as the man spoke.

???: Oh, come now, Commissioner. What in the miserable world is more beautiful. . . .

"Then a nice, big smile?"

The dentist who was revealed to be The Joker. Recently him and Harley Quinn broke out of prison once again and were ready to cause more chaos and madness in the city, They also wanted to come up with an idea to kill Batwoman along with her partner.

Jack's eyes widen in shock as he is about to pull his pistol out until. . . .

Jack was shot by multiple ribbons wrapping around his body as Ryan turned around and saw The Joker's girlfriend.

Harley: Naughty, naughty. Jump around like that, and the doctor won't give you a lollipop.

Jack: *Grits his teeth* You little-

Joker taped his mouth as Jack was trying to speak but couldn't, Harley and Joker smiled at each other and were happy that the commissioner was going to be their first victim, Joker began staring at Jack while pretending to be a dentist before a sadistic smile grew on his face.

Joker: My, my, this doesn't look good at all. . . . I'm afraid everything will have to go!

He picked up a drill as Jack's eyes were widen, Joker opened the drill as Harley began laughing and was excited to see what Joker was going to do, Joker let out a sadistic laugh and while slowly moving it closer to the commissioner's eye until. . . . .

The two vigilantes broke through the window as Joker and Harley turned around and saw the bat and the soldier. Joker narrowed his eyes and looked annoyed as he threw the drill on the ground as Batwoman said something.

Batwoman: It was an easy hint, Joker.

She pulled out teeth that were just a decoration, It was already all over Gotham as Bucky said something.

Bucky: Sloppy and predictable.

Harley: Excuse me, but the teeth were my idea. . . . . So is this.

She sprayed non-toxic gas towards the vigilantes as Anne fell on the ground while coughing as Harley kicked Bucky on the face.

Harley: *Laughs* That's a real gasser huh, Mr J?

Joker: Hey! Only I give the punch lines around here. Got it?

Harley: Yes, sir. . .

Joker grabbed her arm and roughly pulled her as Winters and Barnes were on the ground until Joker said something while pulling something out of his pockets.

Joker: Well, Batsy, and Buckhead, It was a nice reunion, as always. But I really must run.

"May the floss be with you!"

Joker unhooked and threw a grenade and immediately ran away with Harley, Jack's eyes were widen as the vigilantes got up, Bucky immediately grabbed the grenade and threw it off the window before Anne and Bucky covered Jack as there was a huge explosion.

Winters and Barnes looked behind and noticed there was still smoke around the room as Anne pulled the tape off Jack's mouth and Ryan sighed while taking a deep breath.

Jack: Thats why I really hate checkups.
