"Who is that?" Lynleigh asked as we approached the group.

She pointed to Avery and I just sighed.

"Her name is Avery. I saved her," I explained.

My dad turned to me and gave me a confused look.

"Saved her from what?"

"Her parents were killed and I didn't want her to be alone so I saved her."

"How old is she?" Lynleigh asked.

"Two."

"Aw. She's cute," Joshua cooed.

I just laughed.

"OKAY! Enough chit chat. We're on a mission here. Civilians, you need to go somewhere and hide. We don't need to risk any more lives than need be, especially that little girl's. Now, off you go," the Australian commander told us.

He got his men together along with my dad and Lennox's men and they were off. Wow, thanks for just leaving us here, I thought.

"So, that building over there. We need to get to it. We'll hide inside it for the time being," Jason suggested and pointed to a large skyscraper across the street.

The abundance of explosions and gun fire in that certain direction scared me.

"How are we going to manage to get over there without being seen?" Gracie asked.

"It's easy. You just run as fast and as hard as your tiny legs will carry you. Now, let's go," he said and walked to the end of the alley.

We waited until the shots were at a minimum before we ran for the building. I held Avery as tight as I could as I ran across the ruined streets. I honestly don't think I could forgive myself if something happened to her right now.

We finally managed to get inside the building, no damage done whatsoever. Hiding was becoming very old to me though. Gracie, Jason, Lynleigh, Josh and I were sitting behind a reinforcement block trying to shield ourselves from the fighting going on just outside.

Avery was clinging tightly on to my shirt and silently crying into my shoulder. I could only assume that the loud sounds of the guns and explosions were scaring her and hurting her two-year old ears. I held her tightly against my body as I watched the chaos outside.

People were still running through the streets, some even getting vaporized by the guns of the advanced creatures. I hated nothing more than to watch innocent people getting hurt or even dying.

Cars were being shot at which sent them flying through the air and through already destroyed buildings and houses.

I wanted so badly to help get rid of these things but I knew that I would never make it out. I was focused on one goal and one goal only, and I wasn't even trained for this kind of thing in the first place. Watching and waiting was enough for me at the moment.

The Autobots had finally made their advance on Galvatron though. After minutes of examining everything going on in the battlefield, and watching Galvatron being shot off of the roof, I noticed something incredibly peculiar. Every time Galvatron was shot at, I noticed that the bots around him were growing weaker and weaker which caused them to go down much easier. It stunned me, but I tried my best to solve what was going on with them. It didn't take me long to do so either.

There's no possible way that Galvatron could magically make all of these prototypes come to life with just a simple command or phrase. Since they were not living or not online when Galvatron found them, he needed some sort of life force to make them all work. To make a very complicated theory short, they're life force was connected to him. They could die and nothing would happen to Galvatron himself, but if something happened to him, the bots would no longer be able to live. That's why they were getting weaker with every shot. Galvatron was getting weaker and sooner or later, he would be no more.

I hopped up from my spot behind the reinforcement block. I received several odd looks but ignored them. I handed Avery to Jason before turning around and heading towards the large hole in the wall.

"Where are you going, Rose?" Jason asked.

I turned around and he stood up, Avery tightly in his arms. The toddler looked at me with a sad look, the tears streaming down her face. She reached her arms out to me but I placed them back down by her side.

"It's okay, Avery. I'll be right back. Okay?"

She gave me a small nod and I turned back to Jason.

"I know what I'm doing, Jase. You have to trust me, okay? I'll be fine," I assured him.

He shook his head at me.

"No. You're my sister. I'm not letting you go out there, especially not with what you're planning to do."

"You know nothing. Trust me, Jason! I know exactly what I'm doing. I can end this," I explained.

Gracie stood up from her spot and walked over to us.

"If you leave, I'm coming with you."

"No. You have to stay here. Please."

"Listen here. You're my ride or die. We're in this together or not at all. I'm going," she remarked.

I sighed and looked back at Jason.

"We'll be fine. I promise," I said.

I didn't give him a chance to respond. I grabbed Gracie's wrist and ran out of the building and on to the streets. The Autobots and the rest had moved a ways down, but I could still see their figures clearly.

"Come on. We've got a little bit," I told her.

I let go of her wrist and began running towards the men. We had to hide often because of the lurking enemy bots, but as soon as they were out of sight, we were off again only to be hiding once more.

At the moment we were peeking from behind the side of a building. We were cautiously scanning the area for any sign of the bots. The Autobots were just ahead of us, along with the rest of the men so I was quite relieved. Gracie and I saw nothing but rubble and street. We removed ourselves from behind the building and stepped back out into the street.

It wasn't but six seconds later that I felt myself being lifted. I noticed a larged mechanical servo wrapped around my torso and shifted my head around to see what it was. I screamed as I met the piercing red eyes of a very familiar bot. It was the one who had tried to slaughter me back in Washington D.C. I'd never forget this bot in my life, and right now, I was scared for my life.

Another scream could be heard and I recognized it as Gracie's. She was dangling upside down in the bot's right hand. I wriggled, kicked and even punched to try and free myself, but it was no use. I looked back towards the fighting grounds and it felt like they were getting farther and farther away. Turning back to the bot, I noticed a sickly sweet smile on its face.

"There's no one here to save you now," he said in a menacing voice.

My fear was practically drowning me. I was shaking immensely and I couldn't stop. The bot only just laughed.

"Rosalie," Gracie cried.

I was far too focused on the menacing look I was receiving from the bot to pay attention to her cries. I felt myself being lifted again as the bot laughed.

"Say goodbye, little girl."

Suddenly, I felt myself flying high through the air. He had thrown us. The only sounds that could be heard were Gracie's screams and my ear piercing plea for the only bot I could think of.

"BUMBLEBEE!" I screamed as loud as I possibly could.

The odds of him hearing me though were very slim as he was all the way on the opposite end of the street. The wind whistled through my ears as well as the sound of more gun shots. The only thought running through my mind was that this was the end. There was no way any of them could reach Gracie and I at this point.

I closed my eyes and waited for the impact of the ground to come, but it never did. Instead, I felt myself land on something very warm and hard. Something enclosed around me, and panicked, I opened up my eyes. I looked up to see a very familiar face looking down on me. I immediately relaxed and clutched tightly onto his hand. I heard whimpers coming from beside me and saw Gracie in Bumblebee's other hand. She wiped her eyes quickly and smiled at me before looking up at Bee.

"Thank you so much," she told him.

He whirred and nodded at her. All I did was hug his hand tightly.

"I'm not going to-let you go," he said through the radio.

I smiled before gesturing for him to let me down. After he did so, Gracie came to stand beside me. I looked back towards the battle grounds. There was no sign of the bot anywhere. I assumed that Bee took care of it himself and let it go.

The real matter at hand instantly made it's way back into my thoughts and I perked up.

"We need to go now," I told them.

Bee gave me a curious look but I just ran off, Gracie on my tail. I could heard his annoyed whir from behind us and his loud footsteps. I ran as fast as I could to the end of the street and after about two minutes, I finally made it there.

The gun fire didn't cease as I approached though. Debris flew in every direction and I had to duck out of the way to dodge most of it.

My dad and Will noticed me approaching them and immediately pulled their guns away and ran over to me.

"What are you doing? Are you crazy? You're going to get yourself killed," my dad exclaimed.

"Look, I know how to get rid of these things. Their life source is connected to Galvatron's. If he dies, they die. If you kill Galvatron, this will all be over. For good," I explained.

They gaped at me.

"How do you know that?" Will asked.

"There's no time for explanations. We don't have much time. We have to get to Galvatron," I told them.

A look crossed Will's face and he straightened up. He gave me a look before looking back at his men.

"Let's do this."
