"Please, do shut up!" I yelled at the inanimate object on my side table as I smacked it. I groaned and got up slowly. "I don't wanna go to school." I whined. I was homeschooled for most of my life but my mom couldn't afford it anymore. I don't socialize very much. I only have one friend that I've know for Irene knows how long. I don't have any stoical media and I read as well as play a few video games in my free time. Oh, this year is going to be a joy for me.

I slipped on my uniform and got ready. I put my hair up in a high ponytail and put a little makeup on. "Y/N, you ready to eat?" My mother yelled from downstairs.

"Coming!" I yelled back and I headed into the hallway. Almost immediately, the strong scent of F/BF hitting my face and I ran down the stairs to the kitchen. As I though, there it was on the table.

"I thought that I'd make your favorite since its your first day of school." She told me and I thanked her. I grabbed a plate of the amazing food in front of me and ate. Once I was done, I ran back upstairs and brushed my teeth. I was pretty much ready so I slipped on my shoes and texted Gold. She's the only one who understood me. She didn't socialize very much as well and is very quiet. (not my idea, from luvdog123's book, My Crazy Life)

You'll luv it there. Maybe we'll have some classes together.

K, I guess. I'll b outside.

I headed down the stairs to the front door. "Bye mom." I yelled to her. "I'll be home later."

"Bye, Y/N. Have a good day."

"Okay." I replied. "I won't." I said at an annoyed whisper. I sighed and went out front to meet Gold. She had dirty blonde hair and was about three or four inches taller than me. She saw me and waved which I returned. "Hey," I said, walking up to her. "So, what's to expect at Phoenix Drop High?"

"Well, stay away from the populars, Ivy as their 'leader' and... Omi, the guys there. Man, they are fine, bruh." She told me and I laughed lightly.

"Okay, I'll make an attempt to be social." I told her and she lightly laughed.

Our houses weren't too far from the school so it didn't take long to get there. Gold and I began walking um the stairs to the entrance. Or entrances...? Woah, this school is h- my thought were interrupted by a tall, muscular, I assume from the force, figure. "Oh s-sorry. I wasn't w-"

"I don't care what you were doing. All I care about," he spat out, beginning to get close to my face. "is that you watch where you're going." He finished sternly through gritted teeth. I was terrified and I backed up as Gold stepped over to him.

"From the looks of it, you weren't watching where you were going either." She said cooly, standing taller than she actually is. "So watch where your ass is going." She semi-yelled. Luckily for her there wet no teachers outside. The guy who I ran i- who ran into m-... The guy who I crossed paths with walked away growling and that pissed Gold off. She looked at him, almost stunned, and her mouth wide open. "Did... Did he just growl at me? He did not just growl at me. Okay, I'm going to give Aaron a piece of my mind." She said annoyed and walking in his direction. I had to grab her to keep her from going over to him and giving him a beating.

"Gold, it's fine." I told her. She looked down at me.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, it's completely okay. You don't need to go off on him." I shook my head as I spoke and Gold nodded in reply. We walked back up the stairs to the school with a few people staring at us. "What's that guy's name? Didn't you say 'Aaron'?"

"Yeah, he is probably one of the rudest people in this school." She said to me. We walked over to a fountain that was I from of the school and sat there. We were quiet for a second before Gold spoke up. "I want to introduce you to a few friends of mine." She told me and I nodded in agreement. She led me over to a few people in s group. "Hey guys, this is my friend, Y/N." She told them. (It's not the first day of school, you are a few weeks into the school year)

"Hey." They all said in unison. I gave them a light wave.

"Okay, so. This is Garroth." She said pointing to a blond haired, baby-blue eyed boy. "He's a sophomore...?" She turned it into a question. (I'm actually questioning myself. It's too early, I can't think straight)

He chuckled and nodded. "Yeah. Hello, Y/N." He said and I replied with a simple 'hi.'

"This is, uh, Laurance." She said nervously. He had light brown hair and pale blue eyes. So this is Laurance...

"Hi Laurance, Gold has told me so much about you." I said, smirking at the two.

Gold blushed. "N-no, I haven't." She stuttered out. "Anywho, this is Travis."

Gold introduced me to Travis, Aphmau, Katelyn, who I recognized, Dante, and Jeffory. We just talked there and didn't really do much. There was the occasional stutter from Gold when she was talking to Laurance. Finally, the bell rang and the doors opened. The crowd of students filtered through the doors, trying to get to their lockers in time. Gold said that she would walk me to the office to get my schedule and locker combination. As soon as we walked in, the first person we saw was the Aaron guy. I sighed and he looked over at me in disgust. "What are you doing here?" He asked.

"I happen to be new here. I'm just getting everything I need." I told him confidently. He mumbled something under his breath that I couldn't make out. I let it slip.

Gold walked up to the office lady. "Hi, I need the information for Y/N L/N." She said and the woman behind the desk shuffled through a few papers and handed them to me.

"Here you go. Welcome to Phoenix Drop High, Y/N." She told me and I thanked her. Gold and I walked out of the front office glaring at Aaron.
