I left the last chapter in a cliffhanger even though you know what's going to happen. I'll try to hit a lot of words today because today is special.

"Baby stop hiding behind me and come over here" said Piara in a sweet Voice and figure came forward
"P-Praneel" whispered Lakshya in complete confusion of what is happening
"D-Dad" whispered Praneel timidly

Praneel looked at Piara and she nodded. Praneel ran towards his father and hugged him with his little hands. Lakshya hugged the kid fast and tears started to flow from his eyes. Piara smiled seeing the wonderful sight Infront of her. Praneel felt safe in his father's hands and Lakshya felt like he got his life back.

"Where were you my Prince" asked Lakshya kissing his forehead and Piara was playing with her hands nervously after hearing that question
"Aunt had taken me somewhere, she told me to go with Aunt Jamina and aunt Jamina told that I'm safe over there and I should be brave for you and mom" said Praneel with tears in his doe eyes

"I'm just happy that you are here with me now, don't leave me again" said Lakshya hugging Praneel, Piara's heart was beating fast due to her nervousness.
"Did you eat anything" asked Lakshya with concern

"I did, the aunt over here gave me my favourite" said Praneel with excitement
"She did, anyway you go to my room till your room is ready, ok" said Lakshya
"Ok, where is mom" asked Praneel
"Go now and I'll tell later" said Lakshya and Praneel nodded

Praneel started walking away , he slowly faded out of their sight. Piara's heart was beating fast, her hands were cold and she was trying to be calm.It was bittersweet , Lakshya was feeling betrayed by everyone around him at that moment, he was happy to get a part of his life back.

"Did you know about this Piara" asked Lakshya and Piara took a deep breath
"I-I-I did" said Piara and she could see Lakshya jaw clenching
"You kept this from me, you didn't even feel the need to tell me that my son is alive" asked Lakshya fisting his hand

"I-I-I did" whispered Piara because she was scared
"You did then why didn't you tell me about the existence of my son, my blood" asked Lakshya who was angry
"I-I" stuttered Piara in fear

"I-I what? Tell me what is it" said Lakshya
"I-I tried to tell you several times" said Piara somehow
"Then why didn't you say , did I stop you" asked Lakshya
"No" whispered Piara
"Then? " Asked Lakshya

Lakshya was so close to Piara at that moment , he could hear her loud heartbeats due to her nervous self. He was holding her arms and asking like a madman. Piara stood there dumbstruck by his reaction. Their faces were just centimeters apart from each other. Lakshya went Crazy angry trying to process the betrayal and Piara was a nervous wreck seeing Lakshya's behaviour.

"Why are you silent , no problem I'll guess why, Maybe my own sister told you" Said Lakshya and Piara gulped in fear
"I guess I'm right but I still don't get it , you hearing my sister's words and obeying it" asked Lakshya

"P-Pr-Promise , she made me promise that I should not tell you" said Piara
"Are you kidding me? You know this isn't right and didn't you try to correct her"asked Lakshya
"I did try, she didn't budge" said Piara trying to sound confident

"You are saying this like you can't make her or convince her, you could just straight up tell to me , you will make her eat food even though she doesn't budge as times but you couldn't convince her in this case" said Lakshya

Lakshya was fuming in anger , he was angry at his sister but he was kind of unleashing it on Piara. Piara knew he was just unleashing it on her but she didn't do much because she don't want the new mother to be in stress or trouble , she didn't want to trouble the fragile state of Lav.

"I tried" whispered Piara
"I tried my best to not show my pain related to my family to Lavanya because once she just came out of her sufferings and next time she was pregnant but that wasn't your case , even though I didn't want you to see me in my vulnerable state but you did see me ,I opened up to you but still you didn't think of telling me" said Furious Lakshya

"I-I did, she made me promise on the name is the baby girl, I couldn't break it" said Piara
"What about the time when she wasn't pregnant"asked Lakshya
"She didn't allow, I wanted her to tell personally but at last I took matters into my own hands" said Piara , she wanted to convince him that she did try
"Why couldn't you take stuff into your own hands long ago"asked Lakshya

Piara's stood silent realising that if she didn't listen at the first place his pain could have reduced. Lakshya left her arms and Pulled his hair in anger. Piara felt goosebumps seeing him. He swiftly held her arms back and she was startled.

"Why didn't you do this long ago , Why did you leave me in pain with no hope in life waiting for death" asked Lakshya and a tear trickled down her face
"Answer me Piara" said Lakshya and tear trickled her face

"I'm sorry" said Piara
"Will your sorry heal the pain I suffered all these time, will it" asked Lakshya and Piara nodded negatively

"You knew how much I was hurting , you came to comfort me but why didn't you end that misery by returning my son" asked Lakshya and Piara was silent again

Piara was shaking on fear , she had really cold hands and her heart was beating fast. Lakshya was Furious and was fuming in anger , he was intimidating Piara and he to knew that he was scaring her but he was angry. Their faces was centimeters apart , their body's were touching , he was holding her arms close which bought them nearer.

"Dad! , Where is mom? I can't find her" asked Praneel and Lakshya left his clutch.

Piara felt startled by the sudden loose of grip and she was going to fall due to lose of balance but Lakshya's hands saved her from falling. She stood back fast and straightened her clothes seeing Praneel. She put up a Fake smile on her face to comfort Praneel.

"You mom isn't here" said Lakshya bitterly
"Where is now then" asked Praneel
"She is kind of Away now but for the time being we can go and eat your favourites" said Piara and Praneel clapped in happiness
"Yes, let's go" said Praneel and Piara got her escape plan

"Yes Baby" said Piara playing with Praneel's hair
"Dad are you coming with us" asked Praneel
"Not now" said Lakshya and Piara took a deep breath
"Let's go now" said Piara and Praneel nodded

Piara was holding Praneel's small hands , she was in complete awe by the little man. Praneel gave her a perfect escape from Lakshya's murderous gaze but she did wish that Praneel came earlier. She turned towards Lakshya before walking away from his gaze.

"Don't confront her now, please" said Piara and Lakshya nodded........

Baby zigi is here and I'm really excited , it's bigger than me usual update even though it's just 250 more.  I wanted to increase because it's baby Zigi's birthday but I couldn't write more than that. I really wish you liked it, don't forget the Star at the end.

Am I the only one thinking they Lakshya is a tad bit over reacting (he is getting angry on the wrong person *me rolling my eyes)
