Piara felt the bright light of the sun rays on her eyes , It was disrupting her beauty sleep . She realised in the half conscious state that its morning and she had to wake up . Her body was reluctant to wake up since she was always not an early bird. She slowly opened her eyes and she opened her eyes wide by the sight,

"Good morning to you too Piara" said Lakshya with a smile on his face and Piara looked down all embarrassed by the incident , Pink tint was appearing on her rosy cheeks.

Piara looked around and she remembered . The day before , she fell asleep while singing lullabies to Praneel . She had fell asleep in Lakshya's room , She straightened her dress . She saw Praneel sleep next her , She smiled seeing him sleep peacefully . She slowly got out of the bed without disturbing Praneel.

"When did you reach back" asked Piara
"Yesterday , I reached really late and everyone was fast asleep , I had to visit some people far away from here so I became late then usual" said Lakshya and Piara nodded

"Did Praneel create issues for you yesterday , He is really naughty for a fact" said Lakshya and Piara smiled

"Not at all , He is really sweet and nice ,A kid is incomplete without a handful of Naughtiness and those little naughtiness is so cute and fun , He has been a real sunshine yesterday and I personally had a lot fun spending time with him" said Piara caressing Praneel's hair softly and Lakshya was smiling seeing the beautiful sight in front of him.

"Thanks a lot for being with him , i know he is a bit stubborn and all but he likes you a lot , Thanks a lot for being with him when he needs someone , after Drishti's- Departure I was scared of what He would be going through , you are doing a lot for me by making him smile and have fun , words cant describe how thankful i am to you" said Lakshya and Piara gave him her comforting smile

"Its completely My pleasure , He makes me happy too so I am kind of doing this for myself so keep the sappy thank you to yourself , Understand?" asked Piara with Confident smile

"Yes , Piara the great" said Lakshya with a smile and Pia chuckled
"That is how I like it" said Piara with a big smile spread on her face

Piara left the room with a smile of her face which was sparkling like a star on her face. She walked to her room , she decided to take a bath and change into more comfortable clothes. She walked into the bath and the water was relaxing her down . She closed her eyes , She suddenly opened her eyes because the moment in the morning when she opened her eyes, a sun kissed Lakshya with sun rays reaching her eyes was replaying before her eyes.

"What the hell was that" she whispered to herself

Lakshya found himslef smiling as a fool , Different thoughts came into his mind . He remembered her startled look which was looking so cute , Her blushing look made him skip a heartbeat. He discareded all those thoughts and went near the window to get some Breeze. He felt a pair of hands hugging him tight.

"Good morning dad" said Praneel
"Good morning to you too , Did you get a good sleep?" asked Lakshya and Praneel nodded with a big smile on his face, A smile appeared on Lakshya's face seeing Praneel smile.

Praneel hummed a lullaby and left Jump-walking. Lakshya felt the day before's memories coming to his mind.

The day before yesterday , he got out of his horse and it was perfect silence. He could understand the whole palace is asleep. The soldiers in the entrance bowed at him and he gestured. He got inside the palace and he could hear soft snores of people sleeping in the palace. He walked as silently as possible towards his chambers. He could hear soft yet breaking lullaby sound. He got inside in a cautious way.

He found Piara in the edge of sleep and consciousness. She was singing the lullaby but sleep was taking over her. By the time he entered , she was asleep. It was her last lullaby before the sleep. He saw her sleeping peacefully and His son hugging her. He smiled and decided to change.

He went to the bath, He was in deep thoughts. He missed his wife very dearly. Seeing Piara and Praneel brought warmth to his heart. He was truly grateful towards her for doing all things she has been doing for him and Praneel.

Seeing Praneel and Piara sleeping , the memories of Drishti came into his mind. The wonderful memories of his wife clouded his mind and soft smile bloomed on his face. He got up the bath and changed into Comfortable clothes. He walked towards his room , he saw Piara and Praneel sleeping Peacefully. He didn't feel to disrupt their peaceful sleep.

Lakshya went to the room next his room . He sat in the bed and the moonlight was lighting the room. Different thoughts started clouding his mind. The moments when Piara was there to console Praneel came into his mind. He was happy that he was in his life, deep inside he knew that it wasn't for long which was a painful truth for him.

He wanted to her to stay longer but he knew that she will leave with his sister. He asked him self the question, why does he need her with him? He didn't have any answer yet so he didn't have any reason to stop her. He sighed and let the darkness take him some where. The last thoughts before drifting into darkness was about Piara leaving him which gave him immense pain.

"Dad let's go and eat something" said Praneel and Lakshya nodded

He walked towards the Food area with his son. He could see his son was very much happy which gave him a lot of joy.

"Lakshya can I talk to you" asked a voice from behind......

You can tell it is a bad update. To be honest I'm clueless of what to do. I know how it's going to end but no idea how it will reach. Pretty much it will end soon. I really wish I don't hurry this time but I know I'll end up hurrying 🙈
But this time I'll increase word count word and try my best to not hurry
