Guess who lost knowledge of dates and didn't Publish a chapter??? Me!!!. I will warn that this is a messed up chapter , I'm clueless and I'm working with the things I've got.

Lakshya couldn't understand what was happening with his life. He stared at the sky questioning his whole life. He was angry at everything. He felt betrayed by his own sister , somewhere he felt disappointed but he couldn't see past his burning anger.

"Dad!" Called out Praneel and hugged Lakshya from the back
"My prince , how are you feeling now" asked Lakshya with love
"I'm feeling so happy now, I'm with you now but you still didn't say where is mom" asked Praneel and that question hit him as a stab, he at the moment even doubted About his wife's death

"Not the time to answer questions, it's time for you to get some sleep" said Lakshya and Praneel pouted
"Ok , but tomorrow you will day" said Praneel
"Yes Champ" said Lakshya with soft smile

He didn't notice the presence of an another smile in the room , Piara genuinely felt scared of him but she knew deep inside that he was just reacting to his disappointment. Piara walked away seeing the heartwarming sight , she went to her room to get some sleep.

"What is happening? What are the truths and what are the lies" whispered Lakshya to himself

He wanted answers to all good questions and knew where he could get it. He looked at the night sky and decided to get the answers as soon as possible. He got up from there and walked towards her room. She was sleeping. He knocked on her door.

"What is it" said Piara annoyed
"Shall I come in Piara" asked Lakshya in a calmed voice but it bought her out of sleepy self
"Give me some time" said Piara

She was surprised by his arrival, she didn't want more drama for the night. She sighed and reached out of her shawl , she wrapped herself in it. She tied up her hair and made herself look presentable. She opened the door and he stared at her.

"Yes?" Asked Piara
"I need answers" said Lakshya and Piara looked at him all confused
"What answers? it's late at night, can't it wait till morning" asked exhausted Piara , she wanted to avoid him too

"I need my answers , I'm not leaving without my answers" said Lakshya
"You know what, I'm going to get some sleep" said Piara walking towards her bed , she wanted him to leave and this was her idea

She sat in the bed waiting him to leave but he didn't go. She sighed and slept in the bed. She slowly opened her eyes to see Lakshya still standing there, it irked Her. She got up with a deep sigh and Victory was written all over Lakshya's face.

"Shoot the questions fast, I need my Beauty sleep" said Annoyed Piara
"Is my wife still alive" asked Lakshya with hope in his eyes which made Pia hesitant to speak
"I'm sorry to that she isn't" said Piara sympathetically

"How do I believe that you are saying the truth and not lying" asked Lakshya
"Do you have any other option infront of you, I am saying what all I know" said Piara sarcastically , she wanted to get out of this

"Do you think I'd be here if I had any other option" said Lakshya and Piara rolled her eyes
"I'd advise you to get some sleep and spend some time with your Angelic son" said Piara picking up her blanket

Lakshya got up and left. Piara tried to sleep and at last she fell asleep. Lakshya got back to see his son sleeping in his bed. Memories started to flash in his eyes. He laid beside his son and let darkness consume him.

"Dad! Dad wake up" said Praneel shaking his father to wake him up
"What is it" asked Sleepy Lakshya , he had Deja Vu of Piara's sant dialogue last night
"Tell me , I need my answers now" said Praneel and his words came to his mind

"I need some sleep" said Lakshya and yesterday flashed in his mind
"Sleep today night but now I tell me where is mom, I miss her so much" said Praneel slowly tearing up

"Do one thing, eat your breakfast first then we will talk" said Lakshya and Praneel Pouted
"Please son" said Lakshya and Praneel walked outside

Lakshya somehow brought himself to wake up. He changed fast and walked towards the dining area. He found Piara giving food to Praneel and his son smiling showing his teeth. Lakshya cleared his throat to make everyone know of his presence and Piara rolled her eyes.

"Dad! Good morning" said Praneel with excitement
"Good morning to you too" said Lakshya and took a seat. The maids brought him some food

"Dad! Now tell me where is mom" said Praneel and Lakshya chocked his food
"Take this" said Piara and gave him some water.
"Thank you" muttered Lakshya and Piara nodded

"Now tell me, where is mom" said Praneel
"Mom is not here with us now, she is with God in heaven" said Lakshya and Piara looked at him sympathetically
"When will she come back" asked Praneel

Lakshya fell silent by his question , he knew the answer was so brutal that it might crush his spirit. He just got back his family and he didn't want to lose it this fast.

"Tell me" said Praneel
"Never" whispered Lakshya
"Why? Is she angry with me" asked Praneel
"No she isn't" said Lakshya without any more words to spill

"Why?" Asked Praneel
"She lives in the land of stars , she likes to stay there, you want her happy right" said Piara and Praneel nodded

"You can speak with the stars and she will be there" said Piara trying to comfort him
"Today I'll tell her about you" said Praneel with a smile and Piara pinched Praneel's cheeks.

Lakshya got up from there, his food was unfinished. He washed his hands and was walking out of there.
He heard a voice call him.

"Brother...

The Forgetful author

I had no idea what to write that, I improvised and literally left out the main goal which I'll do in the next chapter!. I portrayed Lakshya very annoying and Piara more confident (lol their personality depends on my mood) .
