If there was one thing Stephanie Brown loved, it was waffles.
She liked them a lot. She liked them with maple syrup. She liked them with jam. She liked them toasted. She liked them sticky. She liked them with ketchup. Okay, maybe not the last one.
At times, her mom would comment on how Steph would get fat on waffles. She would smile and refuse to respond. Waffles were life. All sweet but so softly textured at the same time. They were wonderful. If she responded to her mom, she could start cutting down on waffles for fear of gaining weight, even if Steph was already lean. And the last time she cut down on waffles didn't end up so well.
Point was, she needed her waffles.
There was this one waffle in her life that she loved particularly a lot. His name was Timothy Jackson Drake. Or Tim Drake-Wayne. Or Alvin Draper. Or just Tim Drake.
It didn't matter much, as long as he was still Tim. Her cute, arrogant, but oh-so-beautiful Tim Drake. She loved the way his eyes crinkled as he smiled his crooked smirk. She loved the way he snarked as he kicked crime in the face, bo-staff slashing in the air. She loved the way his dark hair hung down to either side, giving his eyes a sharp look that she had to smile at. And did she mention he was hot? (She didn't. Oh well, now she did.) She didn't really love the way in how he could lose himself in his work, but that didn't matter. Waffles don't have to be perfect to be amazing.
Oh hell, did she love her waffle so much.
She longed for him every minute, as the boring school day went on and on and on. She wanted to feel his gentle caress on her back as they sat on some rooftop together. She wanted him to press her against the wall and kiss her, oh did she want that. She wanted him to look at her with those sharp blue eyes. She wanted to pull him in a hug and never pull out. She wanted to feel his breath against her skin.
Stephanie Brown did love her waffles very much. She loved Tim Drake the most.
And she wanted him with her, every second of her life.

Phew! Sorry for the late update. I know it's not Valentines in some places of the world right now, but ITS NOT 12 PM YET HERE HA
I got sick on Monday and today, I haven't felt so well. After school ended, there was a fiasco over report cards, my parents somehow got stuck in traffic, and once I finally got home via carpool with my friend, I felt the need to sleep off the day. And that's exactly what I did.
Hence, the late update.
Sorry and I really hope you liked this one! It's short, but I'm proud of my little waffle of a story.
