Your oc has ran into Klaus every time the Joker committed a crime but the suture themed boy was always silent which had peeked your oc's interest.  Tonight was the same as any other night that they Joker attempted to pull off a crime, Klaus and Harley were with him along with some henchmen. Something seemed off about Klaus though, he seemed sluggish and was swaying on his feet which made your oc hesitant to fight him since they really did not want to cause the mute boy anymore harm. Joker having noticed this throws a few bombs as a distraction as he drags Klaus away and out of the building, though Harley wasn't lucky enough to escape since Nightwing got her. Deep down your oc was worried about Klaus so without Batman or the others knowing they followed Joker and Klaus to an abandoned comedy club. Looking in through a window of one of the back rooms they saw Joker strap Klaus down to a restraints chair that is usually used for extremely dangerous criminals. Klaus seemed absolutely terrified as Joker rolls up the restrained boys sleeve and violently puts a needle in his arm that was connected to an IV fluid bag. Then the deranged clown harshly forces a thin tube that was connected to a bag full of liquified protein through Klaus's nostril and down into his throat. The tube was obviously not made for going inside someone's nose since Klaus was letting out muffled sobs, almost as if something was blocking his mouth as well. Joker then stalks out of the room leaving Klaus alone, what will your oc do?
