It is dark . Lightning Streaks the Black sky , and get into the way of Beautiful stars . Police sirens are heard afar .

A police car fights to keep balance on the road , as at the same time , it is trying to catch up with another car .

Meanwhile a man walks into the living room , in his house , and flicks on the light . he shuts the door , from behind him . what he doesn't realise , is that a wanted Criminal , armed with a knife is behind him , watching his every move .

The criminal puts the knife up to Man neck , and lets out a creepy lough . this .... Is Victor Zsasz .

The cops continue their high speed chase .

An old women is crossing the rhode.  The criminals can care less , and even go faster . they are so close to hitting the woman ----- until something swooshes in , and grabs her in time .

The police officer stops the car .

Police : what the hell was that ?!

What the police man doesn't realise , is that he is being watched by none other .... Then The Batman .

Then he sees him . Batman swings away .

Back at the house , Victor pushes the man onto a nearby couch .

Man : augh !! Vi-- Victor !! Please !!

Victor : you had your chance ed ... And now it's time for Penguin to collect !

He jumps onto a recliner , and starts playing with his knife .

The car with the criminals manage to escape . but then all of a sudden , Batman jumps onto the car , causing the wind shield to break .

Batman kicks the driver in the face , knocking him out , and causing the car to go out of control .

The car crashes into a lamp . the force of the crash literally flips the car .

When The officer arrives at the scene , he sees the car flipped over , and both men laying on the ground . they were alive but unconscious. 

The officer steps out of his vehicle , and looks in awe . but then , he turns his to notice the Batman watching again from the top of a building . The Batman runs off .

ed : i just need more time mr zsasz ! Penguin will get paid ! I promise !

Zsasz : *laughs*you always were smart , ed . it's why i didn't want to come here today . buut ... Orders .... Are orders .

Victor jumps up from his chair , and is prepared to slash ed ------- but Batman comes crashing through the window , and rolls through .

Zsasz : so ! You are the legendary Batman I'm hearing about !

ed just stares on in a mixture of shock and fear .

Batman : *in deep voice* ....... Run. 

In a blink of a eye , Batman decks Zsasz in the jaw . ed does take the opportunity , and takes off , leaving Zsasz in the hands of Batman .

Zsasz gets up , and wipes blood off of his lips .

He charges at Batman with the smile of a mad man . he slashes at him , but he misses , and Batman grabs his wrist and bends it , causing him to let go of the knife . He then lands a vicious punch to the face , and another one to his gut . he then rushes him over to a nearby wall , and punches him five times in the gut , with his left fist .

Batman : *in deep voice* Victor Zsasz ..... Your a loan shark for the Penguin , but also one of his most trusted men . Your going to tell me everything i want to know about his operation .

Before Victor could a say a word , The G.C.P.D smash the front door into smithereens .

The Police Officers pull out their guns , and point it at the Bat .

Batman turns to them . clearly no signs of intimidation from the guns .

They clock their guns .

Policeman : Freeze !

Batman quickly pulls out a smoke bomb , and slams it on the ground , causing everyone to cough and gag . also causing them to lose sight of The Batman .

The only man left in his place is Victor Zsasz , who looks very beaten up , from their altercation .

~ at oswald Cobblepot mansion~

Cobblepot and Ogilvy are eating Breakfast across from each other . one of Penguin's henchmen toss a newspaper onto the table , near Cobblepot. 

Oswald picks up the paper , and reads the front cover , instantly causing him to tremble in anger .

Penguin : Aaah !! This ---- Batman ----- is making a mess of things !! Not only have i lost Zsasz , Nygma is still out their eating up all my money !!

Ogilvy : perhaps , it would be wise to move your operation to another city ..... Just a suggestion sir .

Penguin : no !! Gotham is my turf !! And I'll be damned if i let some pointy eared freak take it away from me !!

Ogilvy : that's not what i meant sir ... Your ship is to set sail for central city soon .... And i was recommending you take uh ----- vacation with it  . while your away , i can maintain things .

Penguin : put you in charge ? *laughs*im not sure if your up to task after what happened with Crane . still this does provide an opportunity to lay low ... Perhaps should call in Floyd . he made quick work of the bat .

Ogilvy : i recall him being coast city for another mission .... But I'll notify him of our predicament .

Penguin : don't screw it up !

Later on , it is night time again , and the newly established Bat symbol shines bright , signaling His assistance is needed .

Batman : Orpheus .

Orpheus quickly turns his head , noticing The Batman , scaring him a little .

Orpheus : oh , it really is you ! You really do take the bat character serious .

Batman walks over , and switches the bat symbol off .

Batman : what's this ?

Orpheus : you didn't really give me a good way to contact you , so i did what i could .

Batman : so i take it you have something for me .

Orpheus : you know how this works .

Orpheus extends his hand , waiting for The Bat . Batman then pulls out a big stack of cash , and hands it over to Orpheus . Orpheus simply Sticks it in his pockets , and gives a grin . he flips through the cash .

Orpheus : i did some digging , and it turns out Penguin is leaving Gotham for something in Central City . while he's gone , he has this guy named Harold , working on all kinds of tech things for him .

Orpheus then hands Batman a piece of paper , and Batman reads it .

Batman : This address is were i can find Harold ?

Orpheus : yeah , sorry , that's all i could find . i hope it works --

When he turns to look at him , The Bat was long gone .

Orpheus : son of a -----

We are now outside , what looks to be a Workshop . grey clouds that look like smoke , fill up The sky .

Inside , a man is hard at work . Technological sounds fills up the area .

A blonde haired man is drilling , what looks to be a very high tech Blaster .

He then stops when he notices a chain hung from up the sealing jingle , interrupting his work for a minute .

He gives the chains a confused look , before going back to work . but then out of nowhere , Batman Jumps behind him , from the ceiling !

He tackles him down , and they wrestle for a couple minutes . 

Finally Batman is dominate , and has a strong grasp on the man .

Batman : tell me where i can find the Penguin !

The man wildly shrugs his shoulders , indicating that he doesn't know . The man has fear written on his face .

Batman makes him stand up , and shoves him into a wall . Batman grabs the drill and shoves it in The man's face . he starts the drill , and gets it closer to the man's face .

Batman : start talking !

Batman slides it over to the side of the man's head , and makes a gesture , as if threatening to shred his ear off !

But then Batman realises something . he notices that the man tries to speak , but no words come out . it wasn't out of fear ..... But because he just couldn't talk in general . and the man kept making hand gestures , as if trying to speak sign language. 

He switches off the drill .

Batman : wait , your hand gestures ... You're a mute .

Man : *in sign language*please ! I don't know anything !

Batman : sign language ..... Listen to me ! I know you make weapons , and even though you can't talk , i know your lying !

He switches on the drill , and puts it close to The Mutes Chest .

The mute man then points to a tv . Batman looks at it , switches off the drill , and walks towards it , and what he sees shocks him . a women in dim lighted basement , wrapped in a rough rope , and tape covering her mouth . she has blood on her fourhead . she is tied to a chair . the man wasn't lying .

The mute :* in sign language* i have to work for him or he'll kill her .

Batman : your being forced to build his contraptions ?

The man simply nods in response .

Batman : if i find her for you .... You build something for me .

The man nods again , followed up by a happy face .

~ later at Wayne manor ~

Bruce is typing some important stuff into his computer in his office .

Alfred walks in with a silver tray , and a cup of lemonade and a bowl of soup . he places it on Bruce's desk .

Alfred : i still can't believe what you've gotten yourself into . when are you going to just tell the police .

Bruce grabs the cup off of the tray , and sips the lemonade . he stops drinking , and peaks at Alfred .

Bruce : i told you , Penguin has most of the Department on his pay roll . it won't accomplish anything .

Alfred : still , it really does pain me to see you waste your days away , crouched over a computer monitor  when your not out at night , fighting crime as a vigilante , no less .

Bruce : i do other things sometimes .

Alfred : you haven't seen the sun for what seems like weeks !

Alfred opens up the Window's blind shields , which causes Bruce to flinch his eyes and grunt .

Alfred : Your like a Vampire !

Bruce : Okay , okay , you made your point . still this is important . a women is being held captive , somewhere , and all I've got to go by with finding her , is this feed .

Alfred : how awful ....

Bruce : but , i think im narrowing it down . look here .

The picture of the same women is on Bruce's screen .

Next to her on the picture in tiny feed , there is " section A0547BA022701" written in tiny print .

Bruce : but , i think im narrowing it down . this is a build date embedded into what must be a basement of the building . i managed to find out what companies still do those , in how many installed apartments . with that information , i got myself a few hundred homes listed .

Alfred : a few hundred ? That's not much to go by .

Bruce : no , it's not . however , i recently thought about measuring the rooms diameter and filtering the list to see what apartments might match .  that at least gave me down to 20 or so .

Alfred : that ...... May actually work . is Batman not good enough for you ? You must also go by the title of.                        " World's greatest Detective " now .

Bruce : very funny Alfred .

Alfred : still , i think you should begin considering yourself to the public . Bruce Wayne must still return and claim his rightful place at his Father's company .

Bruce : duly noted Alfred . we'll deal with all that soon , i promise . right now , saving a women's life is more important .

Alfred : then ..... Good luck sir .

Bruce gives Alfred a determined Look .

~ Meanwhile ~

The Women is still in the Basement . she tries to scoot her chair to the door , but it is no use .

Suddenly , their is a big commotion out side of the basement . she can hear big thuds , as if someone is being punched in the face .

Finally , out of nowhere , the door is punched down . and the man who did it was standing in the doorway . it was Batman .

The women screams in fear .

Batman : It's okay , it's alright . don't be scared . I'm here to help .

As Batman reaches for him ----- he is shot in the arm , causing him to let out a loud grunt .

Batman acts out instinct , and grabs the girl and moves away with her .

The camera zooms over to reveal the shooter ..... To be Deadshot !

Deadshot : so , the legendary Batman does bleed . you should know , i never miss my target .

Batman : Then *ugh* we have ... Two things in .... Common .

Batman pulls out a Bat-a-rang , and uses it to cut the women loose , while still hiding behind wooden boxes .

Deadshot : words from somebody who's just been shot .

Batman thinks and thinks . he knows Deadshot . legends say he really doesn't miss his target . if so how would he and the women escape ? Finally ---- a idea pops up .

Batman unhinges his cape . Deadshot aims his gun to near the crate .

Then ----- all in one ----- Batman flings his cape out , and it gets shot up . he takes the opportunity , and makes a mad dash at the hitman . he then kicks the gun out of Deadshot's hand .

Deadshot : clever .

He then socks Batman in the face , but Batman retaliates with a even bigger punch , knocking him to the floor .

Deadshot does a Kip up , and Batman swings at him again , but Deadshot weaves , and punches him . he grabs the nearby gun , and points it to the back of Batman's head .

Deadshot : you put up a good fight . I'll give ya that much .

He then shoots him ... But Batman is still on his feet . and out of nowhere , Back hands the Assassin !

He then rolls out of the doorway , and tosses a coin .

Deadshot points the gun at it , almost shooting it. 

Deadshot : nice try . but i won't fall for the same trick twice .

He then walks over to the doorway . he turns ----- to see no Pointy ears !

Deadshot : whatha ----- were'd you go ?!!

Batman sneaks up behind him , and dislocates his arm in half .

Deadshot : ah !!!

Batman : You talk to much . but that might be a good thing , because i want to know who hired you !

Deadshot : who do you think ? Oh yeah one more thing ... For our next encounter , i recommend you get some kind of body armor .

Batman slams his head into the wall knocking Deadshot out .

He then looks at the Women who is still trying to process all that happened..... Then he collapsed .

Bruce's eyes flicker , as he starts to feel the ray of light , attacking his eyes . he then sits up , and looks to be extremely concerned as to wear he was .

He still has blood on his chest and arm from the fight with Deadshot . he looks around , not sure as to wear he was .

Bruce : *uh*Alfred .....

He then looks to see ------ his mask propped neatly on a drawer . he didn't have his mask on ! His secret identity was exposed !

He then notices a man working . the man turns around , to reveal The Mute !

Bruce : Harold !

Bruce then spots his suit , with his blood all over it .

Bruce : oh no .....

Harold : *in sign language* don't worry , your secret is safe with me . you saved the women i love .

Bruce hops off of the cold table he was on .

Bruce : thank you . happy i could help .

Harold walks over to drawer , with Bruce's Batman mask was Propped on , and grabbed a device next to it .

Harold : *in sign language* i made the device you asked for .

He hands it to Bruce .

It was some type of voice Amplifier .

Bruce :*with deep autotune voice* testing , 1..2..3 . thank you . again , this will really come in handy .

Bruce then takes a look at his Bloody suit .

Bruce : thankfully , did you make something else for me ?

Batman : Gotham before midnight
