AMILIA POV

i was just sitting there in my bed watching the people pass by the window on the other side of this room..free. i let out a heavy sigh just as koryn bursted through the door. 

"surprised to see you." i said monotoned. she rolled her eyes and sat down. 

"how you feeling chicken butt?"

"fine. are you okay?"

"yeah just stressed out with school and work and now you."

"im sorry to make matters worse for you." i said getting sad.

"its fine i worry about you all the time whether you know it or not." she smiled sadly.

"thanks same to you.."

"so any cute nurses?" she winked changing the subject. 

"haha no but there is a cute paramedic." jeremy had walked in as i had finished my sentence. 

"a cute paramedic huh?" he smirked chuckling. my face started to heat up and i became red across my cheeks as if someone had slapped me. koryn looked between the two of us and raised an eyebrow at me.

" so amilia are you going to introduce me to your new friend?" 

"uhh koryn this is jeremy the paramedic who brought me here and made sure i was ok.. jeremy this is koryn my cousin.." 

"nice to meet you koryn." jeremy said shaking her hand and nodded his head a bit. 

"nice to meet you too jeremy." koryn couldnt stop laughing internally i just knew it. 

" soo!" i said a bit loud trying to make the awkwardness go away. koryn was going to speak when a phone started to ring. 

"oh sorry guys i have to go to the next call but ill see you later amilia." jeremy smiled as he rushed out of the room.koryn turned back to me with a grin on her face and her arms crossed over her chest. 

"so thats the cute paramedic?" she said kinda laughing. 

"yes and dont be rude i know hes not your type but hes mine."

"i wasnt going to say anything like that i was going to say he was cute just not someone id date. but besides that, do you have a crush on him?!" koryn gasped. 

"what?! no! i never said that! i just said he was cute."

" sounds like a crush to me." 

"well its not im still mad at him."

"for what?"

"because of reasons.." i then remembered that she doesnt know about the incident that happened last night.

"rude." she rolled her eyes. 

"anyways its only been a few hours since ive been here and ive seen him three times and talked to him twice well now its three times. "

"doesnt mean anything everyone gets a crush randomly and quickly." i just shrugged and her phone started to buzz. she looked at the text and she looked upset. 

"whats wrong?"

"my parents want me home."

"its ok."

"not for me they dont know im here they think im at my friends who lives in the same area as me."

"oh.. call an uber and use my code for it to be free. itll be quicker that way." she nodded and hugged me before she walked out the door. 

i got back in bed and sat on the sheets. i put my knees to my chest and my arms wrapped around my legs and laid my head against them. i just stared at the outside world i have been in for almost a day or two i dont know. so much in my head i dont know when ill be let out of here and if i liked jeremy .

i wish i didnt fail.. i dont want to deal with all of this pressure. i want to live and try for koryn but i dont want to be miserable and this feeling of wanting to die just wont go away its always there. i wish they would just let me do it.
