"thanks for helping get everyone out and clean up guys." i said thankfully to neil josh alex kevin and koryn. 

" its no probably dude it was our bands album release party so its the least we can do." alex smiled.

"anyways what happened with you and amelia?" koryn said wiggling her eyebrows. 

"nothing we just talked." 

"about what?" she persisted. 

"she told me that she was into me and i told her i felt the same but i doubt shell even remember it in the morning." i responded sadly. 

"i dont know it might take her a few hours but itll come back to her." koryn assured me.

"i mean i guess i just dont want things to be awkward between us neil." i said turning to him.

"no way dude, we are best friends and yeah i was into her but not how you two are like i can tell it was you and her meant to be." i hugged neil and everyone awed. 

"no homo bro." neil laughed.

"aww but dude i was going to admit my love to you." i fake cried. the group bursted into laughter. we heard a door open and close so we turned to the way the noise came from. 

amelia walked out slowly with her eyes squinted from the light. she stopped behind the couches and pouted her lips.

"i cant sleep." she whined cutely.

"do you want me to come in there and hold your hand?" koryn suggested. amelia nodded her head as she rubbed her eyes a little. i raised an eyebrow when koryn followed amelia back into my room. 

"she cant sleep somewhere new when someone isnt with her holding her hand or something." neil answered my unspoken question. 

"how do you know that?"

"she lives with me and she crawled in my bed the first night she was there cause she gets scared she told me." i couldnt help but feel a little jealous but i have to keep in mind that she still isnt my girlfriend yet. 

"ah ok." 

"jeremy she wants you." koryn called out to me as she walked into the living room. i got up from the couch and went into my darkened room.  amelia was curled up laughing when she saw me. i couldnt help but smile with her. i sat next to her and she too my hand pulling me down more. she curled against my chest and started to fall asleep right away.
