Jason stopped in front of Dick's room. He could have sworn he heard Dick crying... but Grayson never cried, well, never in front of anyone.

Jason doned a confused look on his face, thinking of how Dick said he was going to be with Wally West for the day. Jason softly ran down the halls to find his older brother, Tim Drake.

Jason grabbed Tim's arm and looked into Tim's eyes. Both understood the look, it was the one that screamed "Our family is hurt, help me please!"

With no words said, Tim nodded and pat his brother on the head. Tim knew that Jason would never allow this on a normal day, but Tim supposes this will not be a normal day.

Tim walked up the old, creaking wooden steps and down a few hallways until he found Dick's room. He knocked slowly, hearing the sound of a sniffling child on the other side.

Tim and Jason were both extremely worried. When they heard a small broken voice ask, "W-Who is it?"

"It's me and Jason, please open up Dick."

"N-No! Please leave me alone right now." Small sobs were heard through the door. Jason looked like we wanted to kick the door in, however Tim held him back.

"Let us in Dick, we just wanna know what's up." Jason said, suppringly with a soft tone.

After a few seconds, there was the sound of feet hitting the floor, the click of the door being unlocked, and the sound of compressed mattress spring.

Tim slowly opened the door was met with the sight of the smallest bird crying on the queen-sized bed.

Jason walked over to the edge of the bed with Tim on his tail as he sat down and brought Dick into his embrace. Tim joined in on the group hug when Dick sniffled again.

"What's wrong Dick?"

"I-I let t-them all die... I caused t-their d-d-deaths in the Failsafe prac-ctice." The statement only made more tears fall down the young bird's face.

"It's okay, we can't save everyone Dick." Tim admitted.

The three sat there for the rest of the day, comforting the youngest bird that flew.
