Hi :)

I have officially outgrown the teenage stage of my life and have moved up to adulthood🥳

In other words...I've turned 20 and, of course, feel no different. But that's how it is for everyone, huh? Lol

Real talk: this year has been a lot for me personally.

I graduated high school in May of this year and was super stressed out about college and starting at a new school again. Also figured out I had super bad anxiety/self esteem issues (partially bc of the stress about school but also 'cuz of other things) and it's been a bit of a mess these past six months :')

There was also other factors like finding out last month that we had to move, my dad losing his job this month and me realizing that I really need to drop my therapist and find a new one (she kept not showing up to meetings. She had excuses sometimes but frankly, I don't think I should have to contact her first. If there were issues, why didn't she text me first?). Oh and our UK trip might be canceled due to said move (we'll still go in March hopefully but January would've been more special since it was my sister's anniversary)

But, here's some positives.

As I mentioned, I have been going to therapy this year for the past six months and it's been a major game changer (which, duh). I've been to therapy before but it was a group session before and I truly forgot that talking to a random stranger about your life and how you're feeling is really helpful lol (as I mentioned above though, have to find a new one now but something for new year me to deal with)

It's really helped me open up a lot more/talk more openly about my issues with my family and others, it's been nice :)

I have also been reading a lot more (worked through a long backlog of unread books on my shelves and I'm also getting into manga—I only have Kakegurui and Haikyuu, want to try to collect all of the Kakegurui Twin books next year). I'm also (slowly) working on original novel (again). I'm super excited for that🎉

Anyway...since today is such an important milestone for me, I have decided to hold a graphic context in honor of my birthday since I've seen these/participated in a few and I think they are a fun way to see all the amazing and talented designers out there :)

So, after the long explanation—sorry if that bothered you lol, here I have some rules and regulations as well as prizes!!

1) The deadline to turn in your graphics is January 16th

2) There is no limit to how many graphics you can make, do as many or as little as you want

3) You may chose whichever fic of mine you want to pick for graphics except for my misc books such as my spam book "Huntress" or my profile guide "Wayne" (which, again, duh, but just in case I'd like to let you all know😂)

4) You can make any type of graphic you want: comic covers, moodboards, aesthetics, trailers, banners, etc, etc. go wild (or as tame) as you want :)

(Actually, if you do do a trailer I might love you forever because I've seen them but never had one made for my fics. No pressure though—)

5) If you need to drop out of the contest at any time (except for the week of) simply PM me and you will be taken out with no questions asked. Life gets hectic sometimes, I understand <3

6) If you'd like an extension, please ask and I will allow you one week to turn in graphics before being disqualified

7) Please tag me wherever you post your graphics so I can see it in my notifications. Also PM me links to your graphics after I have seen them (I will remind you if you forget)

8) Don't be rude to me, steal graphics from anyone or be a jerk in general and we'll be golden :)

9) If you are interested in entering, type an inline comment "I'm in!" here xx

10) Most importantly: have fun!  Don't stress out too much, just do the best you can. I'm sure you'll all do amazing ^^

FIRST PLACE:

Any graphics of your choosing* (up to 3 graphics), a permanent follow and a 1 one-shot request from my OC book "Stories UnTold"**

*See my graphic lotto "Bats and Birds" for more info (I use to have an actual cover shop but I stopped that a couple of years ago. Your request will be accepted automatically obviously)

**How to submit a one-shot request is written in the intro of that book FYI (you will be guinea pig for this feature because no one's requested anything and it's just been me posting one-shots😅)

SECOND PLACE:

Any graphics of your choosing (up to 2 graphics) and a permanent follow

THRID PLACE:

One graphic of your choosing and a permanent follow

HONORABLE MENTION:

Any and all other graphics will be mentioned with credit in the announcement I make (could make a collage but that might be a lot of work)

I'm sorry if these prizes aren't that exciting/weren't evenly distributed, I was unsure and blanking on what to do as I've never done a graphic contest before😭
