Batman's pov

I knew I couldn't trust you, his men surrounded me with their guns in there hands and I was trapped. Joker looked at me laughing and said " oh, batman do you know what makes me smile the most", I frowned and yelled " you idiot!!", he laughed and said " did you really think you can save everyone all by yourself ". Suddenly his men came running toward me aiming to shoot me, I grabbed one of them and swung them toward two others chasing me. I grabbed another man who I grabbed the gun and swung to hit them with it. Suddenly everyone was shocked and stood still I looked at there faces filled with fear. They dropped their weapons and ran away. I turned around around and that when I saw him with his mask and hard breathing. He laughed a little making me feel a little chill go down my spine. That's when I saw joker laughing as he came toward me and said " hahaha, bats you are one of a kind. It was fate really for you and me to become rivalries. I would stay but, I have a city to take over". He laughed and as he circled around me." You won't get away with this, joker, I won't let it happen to the city", he laughed and got into the back of the black van and said " take care of him, won't you bane", he turned to bane as he cracked his knuckles and nodded to him. The van drove off an I was left to defeat bane. He said " Well, batman it seems that you and I are going to see who is stronger", bane was a couple of feet away from me and all I could do was think about y/n and if I was strong enough to save Gotham once again.

I really hope you like the update.. It's been forever so, I really do hope you like it. I know it's a super short chapter. So sorry for the wait, also thanks to @AlyssaWoron for the idea for bane and @Catwoman-SelinaKyle for the advice.
