Dasukette...
A/n title means save me. Oh and italic is dreams. Or flashback of the dream. Dream? Bold is other Bakashi. Underline is Akashi in his mind when talking to Baka.
The blue sky was calm and clear with barely any clouds to ruin it. It was a silent weekend with barely any fighting or stalking from Kuroko's teammates, making sure that he wouldn't hurt his Kuroko again.
But...
"KUROKO!!" He yelled out to warn him.
(CRASH)
All that could be heard were a few shrieks here and there by pedestrians who were walking by. Akashi's heart stopped as everything went silent. Running to the frail boy, holding him in his arms, blood stained his hands, covering them completely. The tears stung. As he whispered goodbye, his entire world ended at that moment.
(Gasp)
Akashi woke up from quite a dream. Panting as if he had just played a game, fear crept in his head and panic began to fill his mind. Looking at the clock which read 12:30 AM he ripped off the blankets and went straight to the sink to grab a glass of water. Taking his phone he called his lover.
At first there was silence before a frail voice called out. "A...Akashi-kun?" The boy quietly released a relieved sigh, now knowing that his Kuroko was okay.
"I'm... I'm very sorry Kuroko, uhh, would you care to join me for lunch?" On the other line he swore he could've heard a magnificent sound, the sound of his Kuroko laughing.
"You know, you could have called me in the mor- (yawn) -ning." Akashi chuckled.
"You're right, however I do have an important meeting early in the morning so I wouldn't have been able to ask for you permission." That was a lie. He just didn't want to sound... desperate. It was his fault in the first place, he was at fault.
That was quite a dream wasn't it.
Shut up.
Nothing will happen to him. Don't worry.
(Scoff) like you know what I'm going through.
The other seems to have been displeased by the answer and simply went away.
It had been a few weeks since Kuroko had accepted the fallen emperor, but the "king" still had a feeling, it was a sign.

He was waiting at the entrance of the train station, looking down at his watch. Running footsteps could be heard going in his direction, looking up, he saw that familiar blue.
Akashi was wearing a casual white button up shirt a black but brown jacket plus a pair of black jeans. Kuroko also had a white button up shirt and a pair of navy blue jeans. Kuroko snickered as his boyfriend still seemed very sophisticated as Akashi smiled seeing Kuroko as a high school student other than a a casual teenager.
The phantom like teen grabbed ahold of his hands and smiled an innocent smile.
The phantom like teen grabbed ahold of his hands and smiled an innocent smile. Akashi's eyes filled with slight shock as if was the exact same as the dream. Kuroko looked down at their hands that were intertwined and started to loosen his grip.
"Akashi-kun?" He immediately tightened his grip on his hand and smiled.
"Sorry I... I didn't get much sleep." Smiling a bit, he dragged him out of the train station and walked out on to the streets.

As always, the vanilla milkshake came first. Akashi thought and wondered how the innocent teen kept loving the sweet plain shake everyday without getting sick of it. Smiling a bit, the dream flashed by in his head.
Kuroko looked up.
"Akashi-kun?" Looking down to his left, innocent pale blue eyes met with fierce red ones. Smiling down at him, he answered back with a hum. "Want to hang out at the park? We could play a bit of basketball."
"Akashi-kun? Akashi-kun?" He waved a hand in front of the emperors face. Panicking, he responded quickly with a short hum. "Want to hang out at the park? We could play a bit of basketball." Panic ran through his veins.
This should be interesting.
No... it's just similar that's all. It's not the same.
His other self laughed.
Yes... very similar indeed.

The skies were clear, bringing in only sunlight over the city. The lack of clouds made the city much more brighter and much more warmer than it originally was. Akashi concentrated, trying to follow the dream as it all seemed the same, and an uncomfortable feeling grew from his stomach, growing out to his lungs, making it harder to breathe. The light was red and the sign on the street said to go, Kuroko's light blue hair swayed back and forth until he went straight forward. Akashi swore something pushed him to the road, later then seeing a bus hitting the brakes, the tires squeaking and screaming to stop. He grabbed the poor teens hands and pushed him away from him, leading him to safety...
But...
Someone had to take the hit...
"SEI-KUN!!!" His words were loud, despite his looks. He couldn't think about what he was saying. Silence cloaked the poor street, yet screams could be heard all around. The sirens was fading in, quite surprising since they had been quite for from the nearest hospital. Kuroko spared no time running to the boy's frail body, blood blending in wth his hair. He reached out and he grabbed his hand, bloodied fingers intertwining with pure, soft, clean ones.
"Kuro...ko..." he sputtered out. The phantom cried small rivers as his body was lifted on to the ambulance car.
"Are you his brother of some sort?" The man at the door asked the teen.
"No, but I am a close friend of his." That seemed like a good answer as the man let him in. Panic rushed through his veins and tears started to form, rage somehow filled inside. He looked to his side. Akashi was unconscious and the rest of his memory, faded.

The doctor had come out of the ER room, taking his mask off, he looked at the teen.
"Surprisingly, the procedure was a success..." Kuroko's ears perked. "But... it's not guaranteed that he is to survive."
That was it... that was all that it took, to break Kuroko's heart. To flip his entire world upside down, for his legs to give up all hope and make him fall. The walls holding the tears back started to fade and his mind went into an overdrive as his memory faded once again.

Akashi had woken up, and stared at the invisible teen sadly.
"Did you..." he nodded. His red hair swayed as if a small breeze had blown over it. Kuroko's eyes started to fill up with tears again. "It's all my fault. I should ha-"
"Stop." Kuroko looked at and a stream fell down.
"But-" Akashi raised his hand.
"It's fine, I chose this path."that cheesy cliched line made his heart skip a beat. Not out of any sort of affection, but the thought of losing his, his Akashi, was something he couldn't see. Kuroko walked towards the patient and sat next to him.
"Hey, what was it that I did?" Akashi looked at him slightly confused. "You know, when you... b-broke up with me. You said something like I know what you did. So... what did I do?" Akashi chuckled a bit before looking at his sad Tetsuya.
"I'm not telling you... it's my secret." He closed one eye and lifted his pointer finger up like a highschool girl keeping a secret. Kuroko laughed at the thought.
"Turns out you have about a few minutes left before you actually get sick and well..." he couldn't bring himself to say such a word, so he just trailed off instead. Akashi nodded.
"So I guess I have no choice but to tell you huh?" Kuroko nodded, even though pins and needles struck his heart in the most heart breaking way. Akashi went close to his ear and whispered what he had done.
Kuroko's cheeks started to go a slight hinge of pink and tears fled his eyes. He hugged his former captain, his lover and wished him farewell for the last time, for he would never, ever, see him again. Kuroko turned around and left the door, tears fleeing much faster than he had anticipated. He fled the hospital and left. He couldn't do anything, he couldn't think, and he couldn't help but be overwhelmed with this terrible, negatively, lurking in his mind and soul. He repeated those last words and felt his heart break for that final time.
You took my heart and took my love, so in the end, you took my pride altogether...
I love you... Kuroko Tetsuya
