We were the perfect puzzle; we fit well.
You would always tell me I was your pride.
Even if I was rude, you would never yell.

You suddenly changed; acting rude and all.
I got worried because it was unlike you.
You stopped sitting close to me in the hall.
I knew something was up and it was true.

You always stared at your phone, smiling.
If you weren't texting me, who then was it?
I mostly felt deserted; it left me crying.
I needed to find out what was going on, I must admit.

I found your phone and I went through it.
I read every text I came across and I lost it.
You lied, you cheated; you said you wouldn't do it.
But no, you did and I don't think I can take it.

You came and found me with your phone.
You lost it; immediately throwing a fit.
You said we were over; it ached through every bone.
My heart was burning and I didn't know how to cool it.
