Scarlet growled softly as she sat up. A loud sound hit the air as she went out.

"What's going on?" Luana let out a hiss.

"Do we want to know?!" Oliver appeared from outside.

"All rangers front and center!" The sound from Connor said it all as they lined up. "I know we have a certain task as a whole, but I believe in all of you! This is your first mission!"

That stopped the group as the ground trembled.

"M-mission...?" He nodded.

"You are to investigate this sudden environment change and put it at ease. Understood?" Connor, who normally is the last person to answer this, gulped.

"Roger!" The others snapped out of the daze and followed his lead before running outside. Their first mission.

Scarlet, Luana, Connor and Malov were the first ones to find the problem. Some morons were tearing up a large area on a nearby island. The pokemon that were there were lightly wheezing as they worked. Scarlet growled.

"We're the only ones here..." Malov tapped something on her styler.

"Voicemail, Voicemail, where are you guys?"

"Did you find it?" Ala asked.

"Yes."

"On our way." Kai said.

The group of 10 were kneeling down as they eyed the group below. Maria gulped.

"Those poor pokemon..." Annabellra nodded. Scarlet frowned.

"They'll pay for what they've done. Remember your training and all we've been through. We can do this." They nodded as Ala and Kai jumped down. The others followed as they shouted.

"CAPTURE ON!"

Their stylers raced through the air as they went into the battle. Despite not having much experience, they were good. Scarlet saw one person get away while the others gathered up the remainder of the people. Scarlet ran after them and cornered them.

"Where do you think you're going?" The person gulped.

"Out of here! Eelektross!" The electric type shocked her, bringing a yelp from her. She collapsed as the person tried to escape. She slowly got up.

"Not... on... my... watch!" Flames hit the air and circled around the person. She huffed before going over and dragging him to the others. Malov caught her as she collapsed.

"You did great, Scarlet." Scarlet nodded as she faded off.

The others weakly returned to the base before standing in a line. Scarlet was drifting off as Luana gripped her arm. Oliver smiled. You all did great. I'm proud of you." They smiled. "I was going to make you do some file work, but I think you all earned some rest. Great job." They smiled as they went to bed.
