it was monday again, and jihae sat there in class waiting for the teacher to dismiss them.

yesterday was fun and they all exchanged numbers because they wanted to do it again some time.

all the boys were friendly, funny and really charming. especially, seonghwa. jihae knew herself that she was starting to have an interest in the boy, and she didn't mind.

liking someone always made things more interesting.

"okay. you can go. don't forget to bring me the group names tomorrow." the teacher said as she walked out.

"group names? what for?" she asked her seatmate.

"mrs. kwon gave us a project on researching about the different learning styles." she answered.

"oh, then we just need to study with each style and see what's best for us?" jihae clarified.

the girl stared at her for some time and then chuckled. "no. we need to do research on other students, different years and courses, to see what fits the majority the most. we also need to document our progress."

"oh, wow." jihae cleared her throat. "i guess i didn't listen that well, huh?" she laughed. "wanna be group mates, yuqi?"

the chinese girl simply nodded. "i thought you'd never ask. also, the group should consist of at least five members."

"hm. let's see." jihae scanned the classroom for possible teammates. "how about changbin? he's good at talking."

"should we ask him?"

they both nodded at each other and approached the guy.

"hi, do you already have a group?" yuqi asked him.

"no. can i join yours?" and since changbin invited himself in the group, he became a part of it.

they wanted to recruit more members but jihae suddenly got a text.

"hey, guys. i'm sorry but i need to get going. can you find more members without me?" she politely requested.

"will you be okay with anyone?" changbin asked to make sure.

"yep. thank you so much." she packed her important belongings. "should we meet up this saturday?"

"sure thing. now, get going. you wouldn't wanna keep your errands waiting." yuqi waved goodbye to her, and so did the boy.

in the cafeteria, she quickly spotted jungkook, yunho, eunwoo, and yugyeom sitting together. the girls weren't there due to different class periods and lunch breaks.

what mostly caught her eye was her brother eating like there's no tomorrow.

"hi." she greeted.

"hey, jihae! glad you're here." eunwoo greeted back.

"what happened to eating without me?" she raised an eyebrow to yunho.

"i might have used hyung as an excuse to make you come here faster." the computer science major explained.

jihae rolled her eyes playfully. "like he would do that."

"so, my dearest, wonderful, lovely baby sis..." jungkook started, which made the girl scrunch her face.

"ew. what do you want?" she rolled her eyes as she took a seat between yunho and her brother.

the athletics senior cleared his throat. "when do you plan on joining the volleyball club? i just can't wait for you to be there."

"oh. probably after this project. it'll be finished before intramurals so..." she explained.

"so, two weeks from now?"

"i guess."

yugyeom suddenly gasped. "wait. the two of you? in one team? against other schools?"

the jeons nodded.

"oh, shit. i feel really sorry for them." the brown haired boy laughed and so did the rest.

"i think i'll go get food first. so, if you'll excuse me..." jihae hopped off her chair and went to the counter.

on her way, she saw seonghwa, along with hongjoong, walking in the cafeteria.

the two made eye contact and the girl immediately gave a wide grin and waved.

the junior waved back while telling his friend, "joong, can you go find us a spot? i'll order for both of us."

"really? okay, i'll have a hamburger with sprite, please." the fashion major said as seonghwa nodded and walked quickly to the counter without him noticing. "here's the money- hwa?"

the blue haired boy saw his best friend smiling beside jihae while the girl was giggling as well. he sighed but went to look for a table.

"hey, you have lunch around this time, too?" the junior asked her.

"yep! on mondays and wednesdays. we should eat together some time." she nudged him. "should we get in line?"

"sure. you go first."

jihae smiled as she went behind the person in line, and seonghwa followed.

"so, any plans for the weekend?" the black haired boy questioned.

the sophomore chuckled. "do you wanna hangout again?"

the cinematography major blushed. "well, yeah. you can always say no-"

"i'd love to, but i have a project to do." she sighed then pouted. "i'm sorry."

she still didn't have time during sunday because they had to work on the project. she frowned. "i still can't on sunday because of a job that i can't ditch."

seonghwa was trying his best not to smile. he found jihae's pout too adorable.

he ruffled her hair. "hey, don't be sad. we'll have fun someday." he smiled as he reassured her, which made the girl's heart flutter.

"it's your turn." she realized she got a bit too distracted with the boy, and turned to the cafeteria lady.

jihae ordered a bowl of rice and some stew, while seonghwa got the same with some kimchi, hamburger and coke for hongjoong.

"well, i guess i'll see you around. more often, i hope." the girl said as they parted ways.

seonghwa spotted his friend and sat down. he saw that san was already there as well. "here you go."

the eldest handed hongjoong his food. "i said sprite, but you were probably too busy with jihae to pay attention."

"seriously, hyung. what's up with the two of you?" the youngest of the three asked, but the eldest simply shook his head and ignored the question.

they enjoyed their meals while san went to order.

on the other hand, when jihae returned to the table, it wasn't too peaceful.

all eyes were on her. especially, jungkook's while yunho was fidgeting.

"who was that?" her brother greeted.

"a friend." she plainly answered. "why?"

"doesn't look like just a friend to me." jungkook taunted. "why'd he touch your hair like that?"

"wooyoung does that all the time." she tried defending.

"so that dude has a boyfriend?" he raised his eyebrows at her.

everybody choked on their food for different reasons.

eunwoo laughed. "kook! jihae's a big girl now."

"yeah, jungkook. she can date whoever she wants." yugyeom said.

"not on my watch. she won't date until she's forty." jungkook claimed.

"shut up, you hypocrite. or else i won't join your club." jihae threatened.

her brother gulped. "maybe twenty-five."

"kook." this time, she sent glares.

"hyung, i think you should let her date." yunho was also starting to get nervous.

"o-once you graduate?" the athletics major had shaking eyes.

"kook."

"fine! but he'll have to meet me first." jungkook was already sulking.

"thank you." she smiled innocently. "so, when are the tryouts?"

"whenever you're ready."

eunwoo leaned towards yunho. "how do you put up with her mood swings?" he whispered.

"hyung, she gets worse on her periods."
