gammie.
the number of days quickly passed as their intramurals came closer and closer.
soyeon, with the help of her crush, has succeeded in placing out designs for his grandmother to sew.
the old lady was more than happy to help as she would do anything for her grandson.
it was their third time visiting her shop, and she always welcomed them. the two always went there when they finished a bunch of designs to not overload the ageing woman.
"ah, my favorite grandson's back." grandma kim exclaimed, squeezing him in a hug.
"i'm your only grandson." hongjoong said, but hugged back anyways. "are the first batch of jerseys done?"
his grandmother nodded. "byeol, get them, would you?" she requested one of her workers.
the assistant grabbed a box, filled with clothing neatly wrapped in plastic. "what do you think, soyeon?" she asked the girl.
"they're great! thank you so much for doing this on such a short notice, ma'am." she bowed in gratitude.
the old lady laughed. "only because you're designs were fantastic. and joongie here was almost begging."
"i did not!"
both females laughed at the pouting figure before them. after their laughter died down, they settled down on a room to discuss to payment.
"how much is the total?" the blonde girl asked grandma kim who was currently flipping the pages of her notebook.
after a bit of viewing, the old lady said, "i'll do half the price."
hongjoong, however, wanted to show off. he didn't no what came over him, but he just ought to show off this shop.
"awe, gammie~ can't you do it for free?" he pleaded with a fake whiny tone while giving the woman his wide grin. he also batted his eyelashes 'cutely'.
the sight made soyeon snicker quietly.
his grandmother returned a fake smile, pushing his face away with two fingers on his forehead. "i'd love to, but then i'll run out of business. and then i'd have to fire my workers and we wouldn't want that, now, would we, joongie?"
the blue haired boy grumbled and looked down."no."
soyeon carefully cleared throat as she needed to ruin this moment. "half the price is actually a whole lot of discount."
she looked at grandma kim, thinking that paying half would greatly affect her business. "are you sure, ma'am? i mean, the students are chipping in money for this so it isn't really-"
"dear, it's alright. use that extra money for charity work." the woman stopped her quickly. she insisted and she wasn't planning on changing her mind.
"there'll be more money for charity if it's free." hongjoong brought up the topic again. this made the ladies involuntarily roll their eyes.
"joong, do you want the shop to be bankrupt?" his classmate questioned.
the grandmother quickly clapped in agreement. "see? your girl gets it!"
"she's not my girl." the boy quickly covers up.
soyeon didn't really mind the old lady's words until hongjoong said that. she was a little more disheartened than she expected to
be with that sentence.
"that's such a loss, joong. if i were you i'd grab the opportunity-" grandma kim continues only to be stopped by his grandson.
"gammie." he stopped the woman from saying anything else. "we should get going."
soyeon simply nodded and stood up. "thank you again, grandma kim. they're going to love it."
they bid farewell to the woman as they got into the cab.
-
upon arriving in her house, the blonde girl went directly to jungkook.
"kook, take a look at these." she called for her brother as she placed the box on the table.
thumping of quick footsteps were heard, making their way down the stairs. "you're home!"
she smiled at her siblings. "well, here's the first batch. jihae, you can fit yours."
the sophomore happily bounced on her feet as she waited for the jersey to be given to her. once she received them automatically sprinted towards the bathroom.
"and, these-" soyeon picked up something that was slightly different and gave it to her older brother. "-are uniforms for the officiators."
jungkook looked at the clothing, and then back at her. "but we only have enough funds for the jerseys."
"don't worry about it. hongjoong's grandmother made a discount so the price won't be a problem." she explained so that he won't panic.
the senior skeptically eyed her. "if i remember correctly, this hong guy is the one you like, right?"
soyeon rolled her eyes. "you wanted them to be done as soon as possible, and he happened to offer help."
"how do i look?" their youngest barged out of the bathroom in a different attire.
the middle child clapped in excitement. "you look great! kick some ass!"
"aren't those shorts a bit too short?" jungkook stated, making the two girl face him with a glare.
"do you expect her to wear joggers?"
"i mean-" he was cut off with his sisters pushing him to the bathroom, telling him to get changed.
after successfully getting their brother in the bathroom, jihae immediately grabbed her sister by the arm.
"so, so?" she excitedly asked. "did you give him the jacket?"
soyeon gave her a faint smile as she shook her head.
"why not?"
the blonde shrugged. "i couldn't bring myself to, i guess."
"but you were looking forward on giving it to him." jihae's frown grew bigger.
"i think i really don't have a chance." her older sister hopelessly exasperated.
the sophomore noticed the grim face she had. "did something happen?"
soyeon told her about what hongjoong said. "it's not a big deal, really."
"i think he's being defensive." jihae claimed while tapping on her chin. "he just didn't want you to feel uncomfortable."
"i like him. why-"
"he doesn't know that." the youngest chuckled.
they both hushed each other hearing the bathroom door unlock.
"you should have made the sleeves more lose." he complained.
"well, i didn't exactly have your measurements. and you look great!" the junior complimented.
despite his pecs and biceps popping out, it was a fit.
"how many times a day do you workout?" the psychology major questions, pretty impressed by her brother's build.
jungkook smiled cockily. "just about-"
"don't wanna hear it." soyeon cut him off before he could show off. "now, get changed. we still need to wash them."
"geez, soyeon. you had a bad day, didn't you?" the oldest mumbled and lifted up his tight top, only for it to get stuck. "i might need help."
his sisters laughed and pulled the uniform above his head.
"did that hong do something?" jungkook suspiciously said.
"stop being so nosy, and put on your shirt. you'll get a cold."
their brother huffed and listened. he didn't want to pry any longer since it might make her uncomfortable.
"let me cook dinner!" jihae yelled, causing the two older siblings to look at her in horror.
"stop her!"
a/n: yeah, this is kinda like a filler:'))
