At STAR Labs

Barry and the others were in the cortex.

Chester was at the computer, and Allegra was with Cecile.

Barry was in the Med Lab working.

Then an alarm went off.

Barry walked out and asked, "What's going on?"

Chester was typing on the computer and said, "I'm getting a negative tachyon reading... At The Citizen."

Barry then sped into his suit and Allegra said, "I'm coming with."

Flash nods and he speeds her all the way there.

At the Central City Citizen

Flash and Allegra got there and they saw... Eobard Thawne holding Iris from behind.

Reverse-Flash smiles and says "Oh, Flash, Flash... I wasn't here when Zoom took your father... Now, I'm gonna do what he did to your dad, to your precious Iris."

Flash tapped his mask it dematerialized and he said, "Don't, Thawne. Okay. Please. This is our fight, not Iris' or Allegra's. Let them go."

Reverse-Flash says "Oh, Barry. Remember what I told you about being happy? You will never truly be happy. I told you that a long time ago."

Allegra says "Don't."

Reverse-Flash asks "And what will you do, Garcia? Can you hit me with wavelengths before I speed my hand in her heart?"

Allegra steps back and says "Just don't hurt her."

Barry says "Thawne, please. All right, I'm begging you, please, don't do this."

Reverse-Flash smiles and says "You're gonna lose Iris, just like your Mom... And Dad."

Barry yells "No! Kill me! You want me! Just kill me!"

Iris yells "No! Please, don't!"

Reverse-Flash says "Looks like the lady has spoken, Flash. Time to repent." and his hand starts to vibrate.

Barry yells "No!" as he runs at Thawne.

He was running at Thawne in Flashtime, he got close and slammed Thawne into the wall.

He gets up and smiles and says "Enjoy Flash." and he speeds away.

Barry turned around and he saw Allegra holding Iris as she was on the floor.

Barry ran to her side and yelled, "Iris!"

She wasn't moving, blood was running down the side of her mouth.

Allegra yells "Boss! Wake up! Iris!"

Barry yells "Iris! No, no, please, God, no! Iris, honey, look at me!? Please!" he picks her up and moves her hair to the side.

Barry says "Iris, it's okay. It's okay. You're just resting. It's okay. It's okay."

Allegra looks at him and says "Barry?"

He looks at her and she says "She's gone."

Barry shakes his head and says "No! She's just resting, I know it. I know it."

Allegra talks over comms "Chuck. Have Kramer send an ambulance. Please." 

Chester says over comms "I'm on it."

Later

After getting Iris checked out the paramedics arrived.

Allegra and Barry had gotten out of their gear before they got there.

A paramedic walks over and says "Does she have any family?"

Barry says "I'm her husband. And her father is on her way."

He says "I'm sorry to say this, sir. But she's gone."

Barry then fell to his knees and Allegra caught him and brought him in for a hug as he started to cry on her shoulder.

Allegra then started to cry hugging Barry.

Iris had treated Allegra with kindness and she was killed.

Then a yell from a man was heard "Where is she!?"

The paramedics saw it was Joe and one of them said, "Are you her father?"

He nods and the paramedic says "I'm sorry, sir. She's gone."

Joe's bottom lip started to quiver, and he walked to the wall.

He then started to slide down the wall and he started to cry as he said, "Oh, God!"

Cecile had run in and saw Joe on the floor.

She ran to his side and saw Iris' lifeless body.

Cecile covered her mouth as she started to let tears fall down her face.

Allegra was still hugging Barry comforting him.

Joe wiped tears and walked over to Barry.

He taps his shoulder and Barry turns to him.

Joe brought him and Allegra in for a group hug as the group started to cry, and then Cecile joined in.

A week later

Barry was at the apartment, with it trashed, as he had tossed everything around.

Then there was a knock on the door.

He got up and opened the door.

He saw Joe and he said, "Hey, son. Can I come in?"

Barry says "Sure." 

Joe walks in closes the door and sees the apartment is trashed.

Joe says "Barr. Son, this isn't your fault."

Barry says "It is."

Joe pulled him to look at him and said, "It is not your fault, son. I know you would have stopped it if you could. I don't blame you."

Barry started to sob and Joe brought him into a hug as Barry sobbed in Joe's shoulder.

Joe starts to caress Barry's head and says "It's okay, son. But I need you to get dressed. We need to go to her funeral. Everyone's waiting for us."

Joe helps Barry up.

Joe saw it looked like Barry hadn't slept at all.

Joe had brought him to the bedroom and Barry grabbed a suit.

Barry sped into the suit and said, "Let's go."

Joe brought him into a side hug as they both left together to his car.

Barry had slept on the car ride there.

Joe was happy that he was able to get a little sleep during the car ride.

Later

After everyone had got done talking about Iris.

They went to a bar.

Barry was sitting next to Joe and Allegra.

Cisco had walked over and said, "Barry."

Barry looks up and sees Cisco.

Cisco brought him in for a hug and said, "I'm so sorry, I wasn't here." 

Barry says "You're fine. I do miss you."

Cisco says "I miss everyone, every day."

Then a waiter came up and said, "Here are your guys' drinks."

Cisco says "Thank you."

He nods and walks away.

Everyone grabbed a drink.

Joe raises his drink and says "To the amazing daughter that Iris was. To the amazing wife she was. And to the amazing friend that this whole team ever had."

Everyone clinked their drinks and drank their drinks.

Cisco then says "Here, Barry."

Barry saw a vial of his alcohol.

Barry says "Thanks."

Cisco says "This should give you a buzz and that's about it. You won't get so drunk that you're running around the bar saying you're the Flash."

Everyone laughs at that, including Barry.

Barry took a drink of the vial and said, "Yup. I feel it."

Cisco says "Good. Hopefully, it won't go away."

The Next day

At STAR Labs

Barry had walked into the lab and saw the team there.

Barry says "What are you guys doing here?"

Allegra says "We're to help you."

Chester says "Yeah, boss. We're Team Flash."

Cecile says "Yeah."

Mark walked in and said, "Hey, Barry. I wanted to say I'm sorry about Iris. And I'm here if you need me."

Barry nods and says "Thank you, Mark. Everyone. But... I'm sorry, Team Flash... Is done. Can you all please leave?" as he starts to walk to the Med Lab.

Mark says "Barry, I don't think it's a good idea to leave you alone. You didn't leave me alone when Frost died."

Caitlin walked over and said, "Yeah. You never abandoned us. Why would we abandon you?

Barry looks at them and says "Cause you all are safer that way. Please, leave."

Allegra says "Barry. I'm not leaving you."

Barry yells "Leave!" looking at them all.

Barry yells "Go!" 

Mark says "We know you're doing this just to push us away. And we're not leaving that easy."

Barry yells "If you don't leave, I'll hurt you in places you never even heard of."

Mark says "You're not gonna hurt me, Barry. I know. Don't push us away, when you need us."

Barry says "Just go." with his voice breaking.

Caitlin says "Come on, Mark. Maybe when he's ready, he'll talk to us."

The team nods and everyone leaves except Allegra.

Allegra walked over and said, "Barry, I'm not leaving you. What kind of friend would I be if I left."

Barry says "Just go, please." as tears were falling down.

Barry wipes them and says "I want you safe. I want everyone safe. Please, go, Allegra."

Allegra says "I'll go. But I'm gonna continue to check in on you." and she leaves.

Barry sighs and sits down holding his head.

He then cried himself to sleep sitting at the desk in the Med Lab.
