More sense work
Never Ending physical and mental work!
Even more Hide and Seek with different members of the pack so she could recognise them if she needed to.
"Anya! Hurry hurry" Kim called, running ahead of the tiring Anya. They were being chased, another lesson, this one was speed and stealth.
Anya panted, this felt more like a punishment than a lesson, then again most of her school years felt like torture, so yea, this lesson was up there with Higher/A level Maths, not a fun experience.
"Kim we need to find somewhere to hide, we can't outrun them" Anya suggested and Kim nodded, the paw steps growing closer.
So not only was is five versus two but the others where in wolf form, very even sides... Not!
Besides the three Hat Lads, who seemed to enjoy putting Anya through these rigorous tests a bit much, there was also Martyn and Sjin who had accepted to help in this training session.
Anya looked over her shoulder fully expecting to see a line of five wolves following them, but luckily there was no wolves in sight.
"This is to teach you cunning, speed and stealth. You need to be alert but do not spook! Hold your nerve. Keep calm. There is nothing wrong with running when the odds are against you. Scent is the strongest sense to a wolf, it's finding a away around that strength that will allow you to escape" Hannah's instructions rang in Anya's ears as she vaulted over a downed tree, that's it! But they would have to act fast.
"Kim!"
"Anya, nows not the time to chat" Kim shouted over her shoulder.
Taking a deep breath Anya sprinted to catch up with Kim, then running along side her Anya used all her strength to push Kim into a nearby hollow, before diving after her.
"What was that for!" Kim shouted rubbing her knee from the impact, however as she spoke Anya covered her mouth with her hand, "Shhh!" She hushed picking a nearby flower to which Kim covered her noise, the strong smell hitting her wolf senses.
"They won't dare poke their noses in here" Anya said through the sleeve of her hoodie, a huge grin on her face.
-~-
"Where the hell did they go! I had them in my sights" Smith growled pawing the ground in the area where Kim and Anya's scent trail ended.
"LittleWood? You got anything?" Ross shouted over to the smaller tan coloured wolf who shook his head, "Nothing, the trail just ends".
"How has she outsmarted us? She's been a wolf, well half wolf, no human with wolf senses, oh I don't know! She's only been changed for a couple of weeks!" Sjin questioned scratching his ear, his long shaggy brown coat full of twigs and leaves.
Trott padded into the area with the other four wolves and shrugged, "No clue where did she has gone, all I can smell is Coleus Canina, that damn flower burns my nose, we really need to try an get rid of it" he groaned rubbing his nose with his paw.
"I honestly can't believe this! How did we lose? We had numbers on our side" Smith groaned laying down with a thump, annoyed at the defeat.
"Should we tell them they have won?" Ross asked his black fur glistening with the morning dew, and the other four nodded, "Guess so, she's won" Trott said before raising his head to the sky and letting out a deep howl.
-~-
"That's Trott! We won!!!" Kim shouted even through she was trying to keep herself from taking a breath through her nose.
Anya couldn't believe it, they had won! Her plan had worked! Oh she was going to enjoy this.
Crawling out the hollow they were met by the unhappy yet amazed faces of five wolves.
"Hey boys" Anya said a huge grin on her face, she turned to Kim who just shrugged and pointed at Anya, "Her idea. Not mine".
Anya stood quite pleased with herself as the wolves talked between themselves, that was something she desperately warned to learn, she wanted to learn the language of the wolf.
Learning from Hannah, wolves in the same pack can communicate telepathically, but only in wolf form. However some communication was conveyed by body language and vocalisations, most prominent being the howl, just like how Kim knew instantly that it was Trott that had howled.
It just fascinated Anya, she wanted know what they were saying. What was the difference between growl and a snarl? A tail swish and a stomp? A long majestic howl and a sharp quick howl?
She wanted to know.
So caught up in her thoughts Anya jumped as her new phone went off in her pocket, "Shit it's 9! I'll be late for work" she swore turning in the direction of Bristol and Yogtowers.
So far the job had been great, Tom was a great mentor. He took the whole first day to explain were everything was and talking through the equipment the Yogscast had at hand.
She hadn't been tied down to just camera work either; she was getting lessons from Tom Bates and Sam Gibbs too, so she was gaining knowledge in tech and editing each moment with them.
The last couple of weeks had been chaos, early morning lessons, then work, then back to the flat with Kim, and on a couple of nights she had night lessons, it was never ending, and was beginning to show in the bags under her eyes, but she kept trekking on, she had to.
Barging into the office she nearly collided with Tom Perkins in the corridor, why was there so many Tom's?
"Wow Anya where's the fire?" He joked as Anya reorganised herself of her feet.
"Sorry, got caught up helping Kim with her computer" she lied but Perkins seemed to believe it, she hated lying to the non wolves that worked at the office, they were all so nice that it was a shame that she had to lie to them.
"Well Top Tom is waiting for you, their filming some stuff today so will be good for you to get some experience" Perkins said with a smile, Anya nodded and ran down the corridor to find the common room all set up for some sort of video.
"Sorry I'm late" Anya apologised throwing her bag and coat in the corner of the room.
Tom C just laughed, "Sleep in did we?". Anya was going to respond but just kept her mouth shut, she had been up since 6am so a lie in sounded like bliss.
"Computer problems, so what are we doing?" Anya questioned and Tom placed a camera in her arms, "Time to test you with some proper filming".
Oh another test... Great.
-~-
"Well I'm Kim"
"And I'm Turps"
"And this was YogNews"
"Keep it classic Yognaughts"
"And cut" Tom C said as Anya clicked the camera off, happy to finally place the heavy camera down.
"Great job Anya, the recording was flawless" Tom C praised her after the two hour recording.
"Thanks" she replied as Turps came up behind her and wrapped his arm around her shoulder, "Told you she was a keeper Lewis!" He said with a hint of cheekiness.
Anya turned to see Lewis standing at the door, his arms folded, and a look that said 'I'm watching you mutt'. Feeling a growl rise, she forced it down, now wasn't the time.
Lewis continued to glare at her then turned and left along the corridor.
With a sigh Anya went to the creators room and over to her newly assigned desk and sat down.
"Cheer up Anya, Lewis will warm up to you, he just been a bit grumpy this last couple of weeks, probably worrying about the live streams next week" Tom C commented following her into the room.
"Yea right. He hates my guts" she answered shaking her head.
"Lewis will be Lewis, just give him time" Teutron piped up, his grin friendly and kind.
"If you say so" Anya said knowing damn right that Lewis would never accept her being a mutt, but the human members of the Yogscast would never understand.
Finishing of some Assassins Creed editing she had been given by Hannah, Anya was ready to head home.
"See you tomorrow" She said waving to the guys, she was exhausted, so couldn't wait to get back to the flat and go to bed.
-~-
Leaving the office she took the path into the woods, it was surprising how at home she felt amongst the trees. The sun was setting in the west, the last few streams of sunlight breaking through the canopy.
This was a great time, twilight, the time before day and night.
"What you doing out here?"
Anya spun on her heel to come face to face with Smith, "Bloody hell, don't sneak up on me like that!" Anya swore trying to calm her nerves.
Smith laughed and tapped her on the shoulder, "You look knackered, mind if I walk you home?"
Anya sighed, "Sure but no more appearing out of no where".
Smith and Anya walked side by side in silence, the voice of the forest alive with chirps and whistles.
"So..." Smith finally said breaking the silence, "How you feeling?"
Anya looked up at the sir and shrugged, "I don't know... tried, drained... In need of a long sleep".
Smith sighed, "Yea I can't believe it's easy".
"Says you! Your the one who seems to have fun chasing me around the woods" Anya groaned as they reached the flat.
Smith's smile faded and he looked hurt, "Come on Anya, you know their just lessons, preparing you for..."
"For what! For me to turn into a dog! For me to have Lewis to hate me more! He will never let me stay! I'll be thrown out, back to my life where I had nothing that I have now" Anya growled not letting Smith finish, "Forget it! Bye" she finished turning from Smith and running off towards the flat.
Smith watched as Anya ran off, this was the first time he had seen Anya snap. Was it all getting to much for her? With a sigh Smith ran off into the shadows of the trees, Hannah needed to know.

Another chapter as my brain has been going Wolf mad for the last couple of days.
I have a question: It's this fic good? Like does the human/wolf lessons work? It's just I don't want to rush into Anya being a wolf.
I want to know your guys' opinion.
