Anya couldn't see for the tears of joy, her vision blurred as she reorganised herself on her paws after knocking Smith to the ground in her glee.
She wished she could tell him how much she missed him but with no pack link she could only show her excitement through her body language.
A nuzzle, a wag of her tail and a lick, that was all she could use to communicate.

"Oh Athena I've missed you, it's time to go home" Hannah finally said walking up behind light brown wolf.
Anya who had been so caught up with Smith hadn't noticed Hannah was even in the room but now as the alpha female clipped a collar around her neck Anya gave Hannah a thankful nod and whine.

Smith rubbed Anya's side once Hannah had a lead on her, the two wolves ready to leave and stop pretending to be dogs.

Gillian sighed as she knelt down in front of Anya cupping her head with her hand.
"Told you I would find them, you be a good girl" Gillian said and Anya nuzzled her hand in thanks.

Hannah thanked Gillian and lightly tugged on the leads that held Anya and Smith, signalling them that it was time to get out of the shelter.

Anya couldn't contain her excitement as they left the dog shelter and walked in the direction of the woods, she pulled on the lead that held her, and bounced on her paws.
Hannah tutted as she tired to keep control of the excited wolf, "Anya, keep your cool until we get to the woods, then you can jump around like a pup".

Anya looked up at Hannah and rolled her eyes, how could she calm down, she was home and had finally been found by her true pack, no more beatings, no more kennels.

Reaching the shelter of the trees, Hannah removed the collars and leads and threw them in a bag to be disposed of later. Hannah then turned to Anya and threw her arms around the brown wolf's neck, "We missed you so much" she whimpered making Anya tear up.

Pulling back Hannah wiped the tears from her face, "This should've never happened".
Anya whined and pawed Hannah's shoulder in comfort, trying to get across that she was okay.
Hannah smiled and turned to see Smith ready in human form.

"Time to remake the pack link Anya, but first you need to shift back" Hannah instructed and Anya nodded turning to see Smith. Raising an eyebrow Anya looked at the sir and lightly growled, "Don't worry I won't look" he chuckled turning his back.

Anya sighed and focused on changing back, it had been well over a month since she was last in her natural form, so she had no idea what she would look like now.
Feeling the change, Anya gasped as a wave of nausea and dizziness swept over her, forcing her to the ground.

"Anya!" Hannah exclaimed as Anya passed out on the grass, back in her human form.
"Shit!" Smith swore turning to see Anya lying naked on the wood floor, but it wasn't her lack of clothes that had shocked him, it was the scars...
Her wolf fur had hidden the numerous scars from view but in human form they were clear to see.

The worst spanned from her neck and down her shoulders... Bite wounds. The change of form had reopened some of the more fresh wounds, causing them to bleed.

Smith could feel the anger boil up and a deep growl escaped his lips as he looked at Anya's scarred body.
"He did this!" The sir growled kneeling down to pick Anya up in his arms, Déjà vu hitting him from the day Anya was first bitten, the first time he had held her.

"Calm down Smith, she's home now, no more harm will come to her", Hannah said trying to calm Smith down as his eyes shone with the golden glow of his wolf side.

Taking a deep breath Smith regained control and the two began to walk in the direction of Kim's flat, after all Anya would need some clothes before she seen the others.

Waking in a familiar room Anya jolted up, knocking her head on the headboard as she did.
"Ouch!" She groaned cupping her mouth in surprise. After all hearing noise from her mouth, after so long of just growling and howling. Holding her hands out in front of her she wiggled her fingers, watching as they moved independently.

Her eyes welling with tears, a knock at the door made her jump.
"Anya? You awake?" Kim asked popping her head in the room, then once she seen Anya sitting up she rushed into the room, enveloping her in a hug.

"Thank the stars your home!" Kim praised finally releasing Anya so she could take a breath.
Nodding Anya smiled, "Good to be home" she thought then facepalmed when she remembered that she could now speak.
"Go-good to b-be home" Anya stammered, her voice sounding like a strangers after it's little use over the last month.

Kim laughed before throwing some clothes in Anya's direction, "The quicker you get up, the quicker we can see the others. Smith's in the living room, he won't leave, even with all the threats I throw at him" Kim explained and Anya laughed; Good old Kim.

Anya dressed quickly, the clothes rather tighter than they used to be, due to the muscle she had built up over the last month.

Once dressed she slowly got to her feet, wobbling like a toddler as she took her first steps as a human again.
Sighing she forgot how difficult it was on two legs rather than four paws.
Stumbling into the living area of the flat she fell only to be caught by someone.

"Better watch yourself two legs" Smith chuckled lifting Anya back to her feet before pulling her into a hug.
Anya realised in his warmth, "I-I missed y-you" she croaked closing her eyes as she buried herself in his crimson t-shirt.
"I missed you too, no day has went past without you on my mind" Smith said taking in Anya's scent which was a lot stronger after her long period in wolf form.

"Ech-hem" Kim coughed interrupting the two huggers, "Enough of the huggy huggy, we have some places to be and people to see" she instructed and Anya laughed before looking back at up at Smith, noticing the familiar star pendent around his neck.

"Y-You wore I-it" she cheered cupping the star in her hand.
"Why wouldn't I? After all it complements my already flawless look" Smith laughed turning on the spot, showing off his famous brown shorts and crimson shirt.

"Oh come on! I don't know about you two but I think the others will be just as excited to see you!" Kim moaned again to which Anya sighed, "Okay, Okay, co-coming".

Leaving the flat the three walked into the trees, staying in human form so communication could be used.
"I can't believe Parker did this to you" Smith sighed tracing one of the scars that was visible behind Anya's ear.

Pulling away from Smith's touch, Anya swallowed her guilt about what happened to Parker, "Smith can't know; no one can" she repeated in her head.

"How did you get away?" Kim asked and Anya shook her head, "I d-don't want t-to talk a-about it" Anya stammered looking at the ground.

Kim and Smith looked at each other and exchanged at look that said "She's hiding something" .

After an hour walk they reached the highest peak of the packs territory, where a crowd consisting of the pack stood waiting.
"Anya!" They cheered, many of them exchanging hugs with their lost pack member.

"Anya I'm so sorry it was all my fault, I should have known that Parker would come for you" Lewis apologised hugging Anya tightly then releasing her so she could study the people that stood to welcome her home.

Noticing a few new faces Anya cocked her head in confusion. Lewis seeing this confusion laughed and signalled over to the three people that Anya had never met before.
"Anya, this is Sips, Sam Strippin and Sparkles*" Lewis introduced.

"So this is the famous blue eyed pup" Sips chuckled shaking Anya's hand. Anya smiled and nodded taking note of Sips' grey band.

"Hey I'm Sam but call me Strippin, when I heard about the new pack member I flew over here but seems like that bastard Parker had other ideas" Strippin introduced himself, a red and blue band around his wrist, Anya smiled but flinched at the mention of the dead alphas name.

And finally was Sparkles* who approached Anya with a smile, "Nice to finally meet you Anya" he said happily, a black and white stripped band matching the Area 11 colours around his wrist.

After the introductions it was time to get to the important part of the pack meeting.
"Anya if you would change into your wolf form and sit at the cliff edge we can begin" Lewis instructed, Anya ran to the shadows of the trees, shifted and returned to where Lewis sat, his black wolf form ready to accept her back into his pack.

Anya closed her eyes, she knew that the Moon and Stars had forgiven her crimes but would Lewis?

Lewis chocked his head to why Anya had shut her eyes, she look in pain. Like she was fighting herself in her mind, like she was awaiting punishment.
What had Parker done to her?

"Xephos what's the hold up?" Sparkles* asked, his fluffy ginger wolf form sitting patiently next to Parv who was fidgeting impatiently.

"Something's off" Xephos announced to the pack, making them all look to one another and question their alphas confusion.

Hannah walked forward and went up to Anya, and on closer examination the alpha female could see that seen Anya was crying, wet trails running down her snout.

Anya looked up to see Hannah's tan wolf form standing in front of her, a quiet whine escaping her mouth.

Shaking her head Anya took a deep breath, she needed to tell them but she couldn't do it without the pack link.
Forcing a smile she refocused on Lewis who was ready and waiting to proceed.

"I think she's ready" Hannah said seeing Anya's change of posture.

Nodding Lewis lifted his head and let his howl echo though the wood and up to the Moon and Stars;
"Anya Aurora, One of us! Anya Aurora one of us!" He announced lifting the broken pack link back into place, like a fallen bridge it was rebuilt.

Anya sighed in relief as familiar voices entered her mind, "I'm finally home" she said earning a cheer from the crowd.
Ross and Trott bounded up to her, knocking her to the ground, "Too Right your back! We got our blue eyes back" Ross chuckled.

Getting back to her paws Anya shook herself off and slowly walked over to Smith who was waiting beside Lewis.

As she approached, Lewis bowed his head in respect, "Welcome back to the pack Aurora" he said before turning to Smith.
"Ready to remake your mate bond?" He asked and Smith rolled his eyes, "Na, I'll just stick with the constant pain" he joked.

Ignoring Smith's sarcasm Lewis pushed the two wolves closer together with his nose before lifting his head to the sky and howling, "Aurora and Alsmiffy, bonded under the Moon and Stars. May their bond be reformed. May they stay bonded forever more!"

Resting her head in Smith's thick neck fur, she felt a warmth add to her pack link, her bond with Smith rebuilt.

Everything was back to how it was meant to be.
She would to tell Lewis about her escape from Parker's pack, but maybe not while everyone else was here.

For now she was going to re-establish herself in the pack.
