Anya stumbled on her paws, her head flooded by congratulations and welcomes.
She has been accepted, she was a pack member, no longer would she be alone. She was bonded to the pack, a family of her own.
Feeling tears rise she sniffed them back, but she was just so happy to be wanted.

"Anya?" A voice rang out in her head, this voice breaking through the rest of the crowd. Turning her head Anya looked into Smith's golden eyes, "Anya can you hear me?" He asked again his head tilted to one side in concern. Even though he was a larger wolf than Anya he still had a puppyish/friendly look in his face.
"I hear you" she replied and Smith jumped up and spun in a circle, his joy evident, he was like a pup that had just won a game.

Anya chuckled to herself at the large wolf's playful behaviour, it was defiantly Smith, Smith with a fur coat.

"Finally" he barked stopping the bouncing and standing in front of Anya, his tongue hanging from his mouth, "You doofus" she said with a roll of her eyes.
Smith grunted a wolf like laugh before nuzzling Anya, she was his moonlight, his light in the dark night; cheesy I know but when a wolf finds their mate, they are complete. Like the moon and stars, never to be without each other.

"Eh hem" Lewis interrupted the two wolves, "There is one more thing that must be decided before Anya can be fully one of us" he instructed and Anya's ears picked up, another thing? What now?

Lewis moved up to Anya and as he did so Smith moved and stood with the others, this was a moment between pack Alpha and newcomer.
Anya tried to keep her cool as Lewis began to pace around her, the black wolf matching her in size, his fur glistening in the near full moons light.

Lewis continued to pace until his mind was made, and he sat next to Anya, facing the rest of the pack, "I have decided on Anya's wolf name, a name that will follow her though this life and the next, a name she will use when in her fur coat. For this moment she will be referred to as Aurora, a name to reflect how her eyes and personally shine as bright as the majestic Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights" he stated and then turned to Anya, "Welcome to the pack Aurora".
This welcome was followed by the howls of the whole pack, "One of us! Aurora! One of Us!" They chanted, their call echoing through the forest and up to the night sky.

The rest of the night swiftly past, full of learning about the far Anya could push her new form. She quickly learnt that her speed and agility was higher than many members of the pack. She also has to learn the Wolf names of the rest of the pack, which wasn't that difficult when she already knew the usernames of all the members, after all she did editing for most of them.

The most difficult part of the night was saying goodnight to Smith.
"Aurora, you understand what's going on right?" Smith questioned her as the two stood on the trees still in wolf form.
Anya nodded, shuffling on her paws, she could feel her cheeks burn under her brown fur so looked down to avoid Smith seeing her embarrassment.

Smith could sense this uneasiness and using his snout he lifted her chin so he could see into her blue eyes, "Aurora its nothing to be embarrassed about, you are the moonlight in my night sky, my howl is nothing but noise without you. I feel I have gained purpose with you as my mate" Smith said as Anya swooned, "As you are the stars that break the navy backdrop of the night" She replied but she didn't know where the words had come from, they were words deeply ingrained in her mind.

Smith smiled a wolfy grin before nuzzling her neck fur again, Anya chuckled as the large brown wolf showed his affection.

"Two love stuck pups" Kim's voice entered Anya's head followed by the laughter of Kaeyi and Hannah, which made Anya jump on her paws, breaking her embrace from Smith.
Kim's wolf form reminded Anya of a mini Lewis, a pure black wolf but she was a lot smaller so it was quite comical to see her next to such a large wolf like Smith.

Kim stepped up to Smith and batted the large male with her petite black paw, "Get going you, Anya needs to change back, and after the mess she left in the studio it's girls only time".

Smith nodded respectfully to the three females before giving Anya a small lick on her cheek before he ran off into the shadows, tail held high.

As soon as Smith was out of ear and eye shot the three girls squealed and jumped about Anya in glee.
"Aurora and Alsmiffy up a tree, K.I.S.S.I.N.G!" The three chanted as Anya rolled her eyes, "Very funny" she groaned scratching her ear.
Kaeyi looked at Kim, her silver wolf form was unusual in a pack of mainly brown and black wolves, both girls laughing at Anya's cute new puppy relationship.

Hannah went up to Anya and nuzzled her in the direction of the flat, "Time to get you back, good job we had a spare set of clothes ready out here just in case".
Then it hit Anya... Oh... That's why there was so many random T-shirts and trousers around the forest.... She thought back to how her clothes had just shredded in the shift.... Awkward. No wonder they chased Smith off.
