CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT
"I think," Kali moves the waffle that was on her plate around, making sure it had a decent amount of syrup on it before she would eat it. Her eyes traveled to the boy who sat across from her in the small dinner, not the one she worked at, both dressed in pajamas. The two had been spending more and more time together, going on little dates and having long phone calls. It could be seen by everyone that Barbie and Dream were live together a lot more and that they were closer then ever. "I should do a face reveal." She said with a small sigh and Clay looked up, studying her for a second before he chose to speak up.
"I think that's a good idea." Clay nodded a little which made Kali nod a little. It was clear to Clay that the girl had been thinking about this for a while and he wasn't sure if this was due to him doing his face reveal or the stress that she had been put on recently due to how she was being pressured from fans to do a face reveal.
"Really?" She asked with a tilt of her head and moved to take a piece of toast off of her plate. Her eyes were locked on Clay as she took a bite and Clay nodded a little more. Kali had loved the fact that Clay was getting support from his fans after revealing his face which was something that she was so nervous about for so long. She wasn't sure what was going on.
"Yeah," Clay took a sip of his coffee as the girl took a bite of the toast before he glanced out the window. It had started to rain, hard. This was common for this time of the year but he loved the rain nonetheless. He looked back to Kali again. "I mean, only if you want too." He added to make sure that he wasn't going to pressure Kali into it.
"I think I do?" Kali said with a frown on her face, placing the toast down. Clay noticed how the sentence sounded more like a question then an actual statement which let him known that she wasn't sure if she actually wanted to do it. A grin appeared on his face as he lightly kicked her under the table, trying to distract the girl.
"We could do cute little couple vlogs." Clay grinned a little which made the girl look up, a new expression on her face. There was total change in energy between the two, the once calm conversation now being one that had a strong passion behind it as Kali met his eyes. He blinked a little as he looked into her blue eyes, admiring the color, but trying to stay focused on what was going on.
"Is that what we are?" Kali asked with a tilt of her head and a teasing grin appeared on Clay's face. She straightened her back a little more and sat straight, letting Clay know that she was being serious. He laughed a little at how he was slowly learning her habits, the little things she did that she so often did.
"What?" Clay asked, wanting her to say something other then that. He wanted to act dumb just so he could tease her.
"What?" Kali repeated with a small glare on her face because she knew exactly what the man was doing. He had done it before when they had watched a movie or joked around about small little things. He wasn't exactly good at hiding the smile which was on his face.
"Agreed." Clay nodded and took another sip of his coffee in an attempt to try to hide his smile from Kali but the girl continued to glare at the boy who was across from her. After a few seconds of her not saying anything he put down his drink and sighed. "Oh my god Kali." He said looking at her but Kali didn't respond, only glaring at him some more.
"Yes, Clay." Kali said still staring at him.
"Kali, oh, Kali." Clay said rather dramatically which made Kali blush, knowing that he was drawing attention to them so she kicked him under the table. He laughed a little and he went on, his eyes still on the girl who was turning bright pink. "Do you, my dearest, want to be my official girlfriend?" He asked with a grin which caused Kali to pause, her eyes scanning her face.
"Maybe." She shot back and Clay blinked.
"Really?" Clay asked Kali with a small scoff and she rolled her eyes at him, still not meeting his eyes again. A grin was pressed across Clay's face due to how she was acting despite her face turning so bright pink. "Maybe?" He repeated which caused the girl to meet his eyes again.
"Shut up before I throw a sugar packet at you again." Kali threatened with a glare on her face, slowly reaching for the small glass bowl that was holding different colored sugar packets. A grin was still on Clay's face because he knew that she was saying yes. That girl he had been chasing for months was now his girlfriend.
"You'll do it anyways." Clay said, knowing the girl far too well. She always threw the packets at him when they went out for a meal, when they would get lunch or dinner. No matter what was going on she would toss the packets at him.
"So true." Kali grinned back and grabbed a pink sugar packet before tossing it at his head.
