Chapter 1

Barbara: "How nice. Did you get yourself into trouble again, Marvin?"

Marvin: "What's the matter? Can't a salesman be generous to a fellow customer?"

Barbara: "Not when it involves a favor~🎵"

Marvin: "Alright! You caught me! Now listen... I'm having a little trouble with a certain goblin."

Barbara: "Figure. It's easy for you to get yourself into trouble."

Barbara: "The last time you were in trouble, a gang of leprechauns were after you for tricking them into giving you their gold in exchamge for a fake clover. And that one time you led a group of travelers astray to never be seen again. Scammed the archer to buy your useless arrows, sold a cursed item to an honourable knight. Not to mention that you already scammed half of Dreadsville by now."

Marvin: "You know very well that I cannot be trusted. But I will let you in on a little secret... I found this map on my trip to the Sand Dunes of the desert, inside of an abandoned ship."

Barbara: "Big deal, you always find useless junk in the middle of nowhere."

Marvin: "This is different, the map leads to a buried hidden treasure in the ruins. I could barely read a word with this acursed map."

Barbara: "How do you know it is cursed?

Marvin: "Nothing is more acursed than a bloody map with foreign writing that cannot be read. It also has dry blood on the map, so there is that."

Barbara: "May I see it?"

Marvin: "Sure, I will give it to you. On one condition..."

Barbara: "Which is?..."

Marvin: "I want you to deliver this package to the goblin that lives in a cave at Black Forest near Croaker Swamp for tomorrow night. This charm will help protect you against the monsters that lurk in the shadows."

Barbara: "Is that all?"

Marvin: "Pretty much. And by the way... Greet your alliring aunt for me! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!"

Barbara: "YOU DOG!"

Barbara: "Good morning aunt Elizabeth!"

Elizabeth: "Good morning, dearie. Barbara, would you mind bringing the fabric I left in the counter?"

Elizabeth: "I seem to have my hands full with sewing this dress and adjusting the lace. (Sigh) If I could find my pair of scissors. Where oh where did I put them?"

Barbara: "Aunt Elizabeth..."

Elizabeth: "I know there are around here somewhere."

Barbara: "Auntie!"

Elizabeth: "What is it?!"

Barbara: "It's in your front pocket."

Elizabeth: "Oh! (Sigh) Thank you. I have been overworked lately... working non-stop for three days. I need to lie down. I still need to sew the next four gowns, sweep the floorboards and the chimney, clean the dishes, dust the shelves, wash the garments. Not to mention..."

Barbara: "You've done enough for today."

Barbara: "What you need now is a nice warm bath and some rest. I'll handle the rest of the chores. Speaking of which, where is Cathy? She usually would be helping you with the last adjustments."

Elizabeth: "She fell ill five days ago when she caught the flu and haven't heard from her since."

Barbara: "Well that's odd... I saw Cathy the other day and she looked just fine!"

Elizabeth: "You don't think... (Gasp)"

Barbara: "That TREACHEROUS TRAAAAAAAMP!!!"

That's the end of the comic. If you want to read more comic pages, you'd have to raid my drawer to unearth the stacks of drawn pages that are collecting dust since the last decade.

☠💀☠

I'm not joking, I originally wrote the original script and drew the first pages of the first chapter back in 2014. You only read the first half of the chapter.

These were the only comic pages I was able to make on Photoshop back in 2019.

I've considered finding alternatives since I can't afford Photoshop for the life of me.

If you want me to make a webcomic or continue with this one, I'll only need to find the mobile equivalent to Photoshop and font apps alike to make one.

And to figure out which coloring app to use in order to export images with 300 dpi so it doesn't look like a total mess.

Here lies my nonexistant webcomic skills.
