Ch. 5 It's Good To Be Home

Yoongi sauntered into the huge dining room which also served as their conference room. It was very early in the morning and he was barely awake. He noticed Jin Hyung was already at the table sipping his coffee.

"Annyeong Hyung." He muttered sliding into a chair beside Jin.

"You're up already? I didn't expect you down until much later." Kim Seok-Jin said sipping his coffee "Want some?" he asked.

"Please" Yoongi muttered nodding.

Jin got up and walked to the coffee machine as Hoseok and Tae-hyung walked into the dining room. Yoongi looked up to see Tae rubbing his eyes as he plopped into a chair opposite him.

"I don't think I got any sleep last night." He whined

"Neither did I" Namjoon said from the doorway.

He walked in followed by Jimin still looking tousled.

"Yah you should atleast wash up before coming down here" Jin said looking at Jimin and Tae.

"Good morning to you too, Hyung" Jimin said hugging Jin from behind.

Jin laughed as he placed two cups of coffee on the table with Jimin still holding on to his back. Yoongi and Hobi lunged for the cups.

"Sit down I'll get you some coffee" Jin said looking at Jimin.

Jimin sat down and looked around at Taehyung and grinned. Tae grinned back. Jin placed two more cups on the table pushing one each towards Jimin and Tae.

Jimin picked up his cup and sniffed moaning when the smell of fresh coffee hit him.

"Saranghae Hyung" he moaned again making Jin laugh.

Namjoon walked to the coffee machine pouring himself a cup. "Are you sure he said early morning today, Yoongi?" he asked looking out of the dining room window.

"Yes Namjoon-ah" Yoongi answered.

Kim Namjoon walked back to the table which housed five of his six brothers. Each and every one of them held a special place in his heart. They were his family. His chosen family, he corrected. He would gladly die for any of them, he thought fiercely. They were everything to him. And when Jungkook had left five years ago it had broken his heart. It had almost torn all of them apart. It had taken everything in him to hold them all together. His boys. He looked at all of them fondly. His love was more paternal as he felt so protective of them all. All his boys had come from different families, different backgrounds. They had all had a hard life until they had found each other. Jungkook had only been thirteen when Jin and Namjoon had found him. Or maybe he had found them, he thought. One look at his big doe eyes and Jin had declared him a member of the family.

"I can't wait to see him again" Tae sighed. "It's been far too long"

Tae had been Jungkook's closest friend. He was heartbroken when Jungkook had left, barely eating or sleeping, he waited for his best friend to come back. He had even tried to sneak out to find him which had led him being captured by an enemy gang. They had fought a war to get him back almost losing Jimin and Yoongi in the process. But they had made it through. Jin Hyung had then made each and everyone promise not to go looking for Jungkookie again.
"He will come when he's ready" Jin had announced putting an end to all attempts of finding him.

"Does he still look the same?" Jimin asked looking at Yoongi pulling everyone back to the present.

"Pretty much. Except for the tattoos and piercings. Maybe a bit buffed up but mostly still the same." Yoongi said.

He noticed everyone was hanging on to every word coming out of his mouth. Just went to show how much all of them had missed their little brother. Ever since he had come home and told them about meeting Jungkook three days ago, all of them had waited desperately wanting him to come back home soon.

Jin and Namjoon had almost bitten his head off for letting him go away again instead of dragging his ass straight back home.

"You shouldn't have let him leave." Hobi said just as the dining room door burst open.

Jungkook strutted in "I'm not a child Hyung, No one 'let's' me do anything. I do whatever I want." He said smugly.

And the room erupted. Everyone was talking, screaming and running towards their youngest brother hoping to reach him first and hold on to him.

"JUNGKOOK-AH"

"Kookie!!"

"Jungkookie"

Jungkook laughed opening his arms out wide as Taehyung slammed into him followed swiftly by Jimin and Hobi. They fell to the floor as the others piled up on them. He groaned under the weight of their collective bodies.

"Hyungs!!" he squeaked.

"Yah! You guys plan on killing him?" Yoongi asked dryly.

The guys slowly let go and helped him off the floor. Jungkook was still grinning widely looking at all of his brothers.

Namjoon hugged him again "Welcome back little one" he whispered sniffling slightly.

Jungkook was barely holding back his own tears. He looked up to see Jimin whose entire face had gone red and his eyes were brimming with tears.

JK walked up to him and hugged him again. "I missed you Jungkook-ah" Jimin said and it finally broke Jungkook's resolve.

Tears flowed down his cheeks as he went on to hug Hobi, Jin and Tae again before finally moving to Yoongi who was standing aside wiping at his eyes. They hugged and Yoongi ruffled his hair lovingly.

"It's good to be home." Jungkook said smiling through his tears.

An hour later they all sat at the table enjoying a hearty breakfast that Jin Hyung had whipped up for them. They were shooting questions at Jungkook at the speed of light yet Jungkook answered all of them patiently.

"What made you finally come back home Jungkookie?" Taehyung asked.

"I've been meaning to come back for a while actually." He said quietly, his eyes on his plate not daring to look up. "But I wasn't sure you would want to see me. After.... After everything that happened."

"You should have come. We never stopped waiting for you, Kookie" Namjoon said for beside him, laying a hand on his shoulder and squeezing slightly.

"Yes, you should have come home. Jin Hyung even laid a plate out for you every time we had meal together" Jimin said, his voice hitching as he tried to hold back the tears that were threatening to fall again.

Jin cleared his throat. "Your room is as you left it Jungkook-ah. If you want it?" he asked eyeing the younger man hopefully.

"Thank you, Hyung" Jungkook said gratitude shining in his eyes.

"You might need some more storage space though. I'll have someone move a spare wardrobe from the basement to your room." Jin said.

Yoongi sucked in a sharp breath and his chopsticks clattered on his plate.

"What is it, Hyung?" Tae asked alarmed.

"There's a prisoner in the basement." Yoongi answered.

"What?"

"A prisoner?"

"Who?"

Questions erupted across the table.

Yoongi looked at Jungkook. "The girl who witnessed the deal on Friday."

"Friday?" Jin asked. "There's been a prisoner in my basement for the last three days?" He asked his nostrils flaring.

"You brought her home, Hyung?" Jungkook asked Yoongi

Yoongi shrugged. "Where else would I take her? I couldn't just kill her man." He answered looking guilty knowing he had contemplated actually killing her.

"Yah!! Three days!! Who's been taking care of her? Feeding her?" Jin asked

Yoongi shrugged again.

"Are you out of your mind?" Hobi asked standing up.
"Ji-Hyuk!" he called.

A tall burly man stepped in through the dining room door. He had been standing guard outside. "Yes Boss?" he asked.

"Go get the prisoner in the basement up here." Hobi told him glaring at Yoongi.

A few minutes later Ji-hyuk stepped through the door again this time dragging something akin to a rag doll behind him. She was extremely dirty covered in mud and dust. Her arms tied with thick rope. Her legs had bruises showing where her feet had probably been tied too. Her face was covered by a rag that was faintly moving with her breath.

Ji-hyuk pushed her in front of him and she fell unable to stand. The brothers all stood up as Ji-hyuk pulled the rag from her face and the girl flinched as the light suddenly hit her eyes.

They saw the rag stuffed in her mouth, her eyes barely open, her lips were chipped and cracked. Her cheekbones stood out gauntly on her face. Her skin seemed to be stretched on her bones. She was so pale that if she wasn't sitting up they would have thought she was dead. Ji-Hyuk pulled out the rag from her mouth harshly. Her dry lips stared to bleed from the sudden impact and she winced.

She looked up squinting as her eyes met the dark gaze of Jungkook.

"You!" She croaked her voice like sand paper.

"Please just kill me" she managed to squeak.
Having used the last of her energy walking here, the girl collapsed again.
