----- Hannah's P.O.V -----

I think that the majority of the school will be surprised to have One Direction performing for them. I am pretty sure that they know that Zayn went to their school, considering the internet knows basically everything about Zayn so they are bound to have put his high school somewhere there. People only know about me now because Zayn spoke about me in an interview and said that I had grown up with him and because I am dating Niall - if it wasn't for any of that, I wouldn't be in the spotlight but I love performing with my best friends and I wouldn't change any of it.

We are almost at the school now and I am starting to get all excited. Niall and I took Niall's car to the school, Zayn decided to go on his motorbike and I would have gone with him but I am wearing a dress and heels so being on a motorbike like that isn't exactly easy, Liam went in his car and Louis and Harry took Louis' car as that's what they came in from Doncaster. I just want to see how the school has changed; I mean it has been a while since both Zayn and I have been there, so it is bound to have changed at least a little bit.

We pull up and Niall parks, as Niall is parking Zayn rides into the space on our left, Louis and Harry on our right and then I think Liam next to Lou and Haz. I get out of the car and Zayn gets off his bike, he takes off his helmet and passes it to me "Can you put that in the car please? I don't want to just leave it on my bike" he says and I nod "Sure Z" I say putting it on the backseat just before Niall locks the car. All the lads are dressed rather smartly - Zayn is in black suit trousers, a dark grey button up shirt and his 'Bradford Bad Boy' leather jacket so we match which I found funny, Louis is wearing black jeans and a white button up shirt with a burgundy tie, Liam has grey suit trousers and a black button up shirt, Harry is wearing black jeans like Louis and a patterned button up shirt and finally, Niall is wearing grey jeans with a navy polo shirt.

Niall wraps his arm around my waist as we all walk into the reception of the school. The receptionist is still the one that was here when Zayn and I were. She looks up at us "Hi Mrs Kyle" I say and she gasps "Oh my, Hannah and Zayn?" she asks and we both nod "Look how you've grown" she says and we laugh "You are all here for the assembly right?" she asks and all of us nod "Yeah, we weren't told much though" Zayn says and Mrs Kyle nods "Alrighty. I will take you down to the hall, unless you two remember where you're going" she says and I look to Zayn who smirks "I think we know our way around still" I say and she smiles at us "Thanks Mrs Kyle" Zayn says before we all walk out of reception and into the main school.

Niall keeps his arm around my waist and Zayn leads the way "Hanni" he says stopping momentarily so that we can catch up to him "Do you remember when I got in a fight here?" he asks and I nod "Most definitely. It was a kid in your year that told you he wanted to get in my pants, so you flipped and punched him one" I say and all the lads start laughing "Did you really do that Zayn?" Harry asks sounding surprised "Hell yeah. He was talking about Hannah like she was some sort of play thing, it pissed me off Hazza" Zayn answers and I giggle "It was funny though, that kid didn't stand a chance even though he was like twice your muscle weight" I say and Zayn glares playfully at me "I'm here to protect you now" Niall whispers in my ear before kissing my cheek.

We reach the main hall and we go in as we see our old head teacher in there and some kids setting up the stage, along with our old music teacher Miss Pire - she has a boyfriend but she always hated the idea of marriage so I am assuming that's why she is still a 'Miss'. The rest of the school aren't in there yet, I presume they have a certain time when they have been told to all come in and sit down. Miss Pire sees me and Zayn and practically runs over to us "Oh you two" she says hugging me and then Zayn "My two favourite students" she says.

The kids who are setting up finally seem to notice us and they all start talking amongst each other, they're all lads probably around 15. One of them walks over to me with this smirk on his face "I've always had something for an older girl" he says and I laugh "Awh buddy. You're a tad too young for me" I say as Niall pulls me into his side "Plus, I'm already taken" I say and Niall chuckles. The boy walks back over to his mates and his mates start laughing before continuing to set up everything ready for us to perform.

All of us are now stood behind the curtain in the left wing of the stage; all the students have come in and we heard them all murmuring about the mics and stools that are on the stage, along with my guitar in its stand. As we don't have the band with us to play the music, I have said that I will play my guitar and the song that we will do will just have to be acoustic. All the murmuring stops and I move to the edge of the wing so that I can peek out, I see the head teacher and Zayn and I's old head teacher Mrs Gold talking "I bet all of you are wondering why we have this set up behind me" she says motioning to the stage "Well we have some guests" she says.

That's our cue to walk out so we do. The lads are met with screams and we all start laughing. Liam sits down on the stool farthest away from all of us, then Zayn, then me, then Niall, then Louis and then Harry - my guitar is next to Liam so Liam passes it over to me "Thanks" I say to him and he smiles at me. Mrs Gold smiles at us and motions for us to talk as we wish "So, I presume you all know who we are" Louis says into his mic "But probably not me" I say into my mic as I raise my hand "YOU'RE HANNAH" a girl near the front shouts "Yay, someone knows me" I say using my mic and all the lads laugh "Well, we have been asked here by Mrs Gold as Hannah and I actually went to school here" Zayn explains through his mic and I nod "SO, we only think that it is right for us to sing a little" I say into my mic looking between all the guys "Ready To Run" Liam suggests in his mic "Yeah, I learnt that one" I say nodding.

[Hannah:]

When we finish singing, I look to the lads on either side of me and find myself smiling. There is no possible way that I could ever imagine my life without any of them - they are my family, now and forever.
