A continuation from Siblings Bond Birthday Time, read that before this so you'll understand it better.

The brothers stood there shocked and looked at John Dory. Clay and Bruce were glaring at John Dory and Floyd was frowning as Viva looked upset.

''Seriously dude! You didn't tell Poppy!? I mean that is his girlfriend she has every right to be here or to spend time with him by herself!'' Clay shouts.

''I just wanted us to be like we use to, you know where it was just us boys.'' John Dory tried.

''You had that all day! And what you invite Viva and not Poppy?'' Asked Bruce outraged.

''Look JD we all love Branch, and we do feel bad we left him, but he has his own life, he's not a baby anymore, and besides things can't be the same. Clay and Viva are together and Bruce has a family and you and me well we have lives and now because of what you did Branch is going to hate us.'' Floyd snapped.

''Look, Poppy gets him all the time. She should share him and one day isn't bad.'' John Dory defended himself.

''Not the point. This is something big for Poppy! It's her and Branch's first year together so yes, she going to make a big deal about his birthday and what you did was cold. She was in tears when she heard where I was going, and she stayed at home because she didn't think she was welcomed.'' Viva snapped glaring at John Dory.

Bruce frowned at his brother. ''John Dory this is the worst thing you've done, and you need to make it right to Poppy. She has been nothing but kind and understanding and let us hang out with Branch, but you shouldn't have gone back on your word.'' Bruce growls.

He cared about Poppy and had grown fond of her and saw her as a little sister and this upset him. ''You need to go make it up to Poppy.'' Bruce snapped.

''I don't know how.'' John Dory sighed knowing he messed up.

''I'm gonna go check on them.'' Viva said as she left.

The 3 brothers followed leaving John Dory alone.

Branch ran as fast as he could to Poppy's pod. He was worried and felt bad, he knew he should have checked on Poppy that afternoon.

He arrived at her pod and knocked on the door as he walked in and saw the room was set up as a romantic setting and a banner that said Happy Birthday and he saw the plastic candles. He walked past them to the bedroom and his heart broke as he saw Poppy on the bed face down crying.

''P-Poppy?'' He said.

She sat up with tears running down her face and she wiped her eyes looking at him mustering a smile. 

''Branch.'' 

''Poppy.'' He ran over hugging her as she hugged him.

''Y-You're here.'' She sighed feeling happy but still sad.

''I-I'm so sorry, I knew I should have come to check on you. I had a feeling John Dory wasn't being honest.'' He hugs her.

''It doesn't matter you're here now and happy birthday.'' She smiles.

He hugs her and then kisses her as she kisses back. Branch placed his hands on her cheeks and his other hand ran though her hair that was down, and he pulls out of it and uses his thumbs to wipe her tears away.

''Now, I know it's a bit late but why don't we do what you had planned.'' He suggested looking at her.

''What about the others?'' She asked.

''I don't want to talk about them, it's all about you and me.'' He replied helping her up and they walked out to the kitchen.

''I'm not looking my best.'' She responded.

He smiles and cups her face. ''I think you you're even more beautiful.''

He sat down and Poppy smiles and brought over the fruit salad and his eyes widened. ''Fruit Salad?!'' He was shocked.

''Yes, you mentioned that it was your favorite and I also found a recipe in one of your grandma old boxes for Fluffle Berry Cake.'' She pulls it out and he felt his eyes water up.

''This is what was missing!'' He replied.

She looked at him with a smile. ''Oh, yeah, I left the others because these had Branch's Favorites on the top.'' 

''And I love this and you so much.'' He answers as they ate.

Branch smiles and once they were done, he looked at her. ''Alright so what else did you have planned?''

Poppy pulled out a wrapped gift and gave it to Branch as he opened it and stopped. There was Croco his stuffed crocodile he had as a baby.

''Poppy.''

''Yeah, I kind of decided to dig though boxes.'' She blushes.

He then pulls her to his lap and kisses her deeply. She moans and kisses back feeling happy as they pull away and Branch stared at what she was wearing and her hair down.

''Poppy, you look absolutely beautiful.'' He gulps staring at her.

''I wanted to look for you tonight.'' She answered.

''Well, this is definitely better then today.'' He smiles.

''Good, now there is something else I have planned the last thing.'' She smiles.

He helped her turn off the candles. ''I like the plastic ones.'' He smiles.

''I know that's why I did it.'' She giggles as they walk out of the pod.

Branch held Poppy close as they walked to their favorite spot on a hill and she sat down as he joined her pulling her to his lap and holding her.

''They seem brighter tonight.'' Poppy smiles.

''They do but that's because a couple is out looking at them.'' He answered.

She snuggles in his arms as they watched the stars.

''I missed you Branch.''

''I missed you too. Everything in my body was telling me to check on you and I was going to but it felt good having my family here.... until they pulled that stupid not telling me.'' He frowns.

''I wanted you to be with them... I didn't want to be selfish and keep you for myself, but I did think he was going to tell you, but I guess not, and it just hurts to think he doesn't even care that I wasn't there... If he would have told me, I would have gone there as long as I get to spend time together with you...'' She replied. 

''I hate that you were struggling with sharing me but in the future, I will always choose you over my brothers. You were there for me when they weren't, besides I wanted to spend time with you tonight.'' He cupped her face as they shared a deep kiss holding each other.

Later they got up lacing their fingers together as they slowly walked back to her pod. They didn't notice that some of the brothers and Viva were watching them while they were stargazing.

''So, let's go to your place.'' Branch smiles as he carries her bridal style.

''Not the bunker?'' She giggles.

''No, I don't want to see any of my brothers especially JD because I would end up punching him.'' Branch replied.

The others weren't aware of this so don't take it out on them.'' She pleaded.

''I know don't worry my anger is on JD but shh I want this to be you and me.'' He kisses her deeply as they go to her pod.

The others smiled and decided to go back to the bunker. ''I think we should a birthday party tomorrow for Branch with just us and Poppy.'' Viva answered.

''Sounds like a plan and to get John Dory to apologize.'' They left heading to the bunker.
