Hollywood Undead~Charlie Scene

The heavy stench of liquor filled Autumn's nose as she pushed the door open and slid past the bouncer. It was a late Friday night and she planned on having a few drinks with her coworkers before heading home. Around her girls dressed in skin tight clothing, and clung to sleezy men in hopes of scoring drugs, free drinks, or sex. She shook her head at these women and made her way to the bar. Six men already sat there with a few shot glasses in front of them. Behind the bar her old college roommate, Randi Pentzer, mixed up a cocktail. The woman smiled up at Autumn and waved her over. She placed her hand on the bar and hopped over.

"Hey, how was the job hunting?" Randi poured the mixture into a glass and slid it to a petite woman.

Autumn shrugged and pulled out a bottle of Vodka. "Pretty damn good." Randi cocked a brow at her. "Interscope Records hired me on the spot as a touring manager for some band."

"Shut up! No fucking way!" She squealed and threw her arms around her friend. "That's amazing Autumn!"

Behind them one of the men leaned forward and said, "Sounds like someone could use a celebratory drink." He smiled lazily at the women.

Both girls turned around and rolled their eyes at him. "You know it's rude to eavesdrop." Autumn said hotly. The man just shrugged and motioned for Randi to get him another shot.

"Ease up Charles." The male with a three tattooed on his neck laughed and clapped his friend on his back. He turned to Autumn saying, "Sorry about my friend he doesn't know the proper way to ask a beautiful lady, like yourself, on a date."

This made Autumn's cheeks flare up with heat. She had never really been called beautiful before by anyone who wasn't her mother or grandmother. She muttered a thank you then busied herself with helping Randi wash glasses and take orders. Shortly their boss came out of his office to check on all the employees. When he reached the bar he pulled out a small box and handed it to Autumn.

"What's this?"

"Just a little congratulations present from me and the wife." He stated casually. She began to protest but he held his hand up to stop her. A sigh slipped past her lips as she began to open the box. After she removed the colorful tissue paper, a small shot glass rested at the bottom of the box. It had been customized with a bunch of pink and black crystals. On the front it had her initials in black with the rest of the glass being covered in pink crystals.

"Thank you so much Frank." She placed the glass back in the box. He smiled and waved it off like it was nothing. "You're welcome. Now you'll always have something to remind you of this shit hole."

Both Autumn and Randi shook their heads at him. Frank was always making fun of his own bar and calling it a shit hole. Lord only knows why though. Autumn loved working here. Each night was never the same as the last and always kept her entertained.

"Now can we celebrate?" Charles asked. Randi chuckled and poured everyone at the bar another round of shots.

"To Autumn." Randi yelled and raised her glass. Each of the men and Autumn followed her lead. "May the bitch party it up and get hitched in Vegas again."

As she tossed back her shot she choked on the liquor and was sent into a coughing fit. Randi just laughed and patted her back. When she was able to breathe again she burst out laughing. "That was only one time."

"As far as you remember."

"What?!" She cried. The six men laughed at their banter.

---------------

As the night dragged on the girls came to get to know the six men that they began drinking with. Randi had figured out from Dylan, Funny Man, that all six men were in a band named Hollywood Undead. The name had sounded familiar to both girls but they didn't push the topic. Shortly after each man went around and said what their stage name and what their real names were. Charles ended up going last and for a while refused to say what his real name was. But when Autumn offered to get him another beer he told her his name. She was surprised to find out that his name was actually Jordon. She didn't fully understand why he hated his name, to her she thought it was more fitting for him. Eventually she let it go and continued on with the night and their drinking festivities. Around midnight each person was equally wasted. Well except for Jordon and Autumn. They had drank much more than the rest.

"H-hey Autumn!" Jordon called to her from across the room. He stood up from this seat and stumbled his way over to her at the bar. She turned just in time to catch his falling frame. Both giggled drunkly.

"What's up." She slurred as she tried to help steady him. He swayed backwards then off to the side. She had to tighten her grip to keep him from falling on his ass.

His eyes fluttered shut for a moment, his chest heaved deeply. "Do... You want to get out of here?"

"Sure. Why not." Seeing as Autumn was a little less wasted than Jordon she was the one that led them out of the bar. "So where ar-are we going?"

Jordon looked down the street both ways in search of the bus that he was sharing with the rest of his friends. When he caught sight of it he pointed to his right. Both of them stumbled drunkly towards the bus. At one point Autumn lost her grip on Jordon, causing him to fall forward on his face. When he hit the ground a loud groan slipped past his lips. "Oh sh-shit!" Autumn rushed forward and tried to help him up, but when he pulled on her arms she ended up falling on top of him. Jordon's arms wrapped around her tightly. "Come on." She said and wiggled her way out of his arms. The whole time she tried to drag him back to the bus he kept trying to kiss her cheek.

Once she had gotten him on the bus he collapsed on the couch and curled up with a blanket. I swear he's like a child, she thought and sat down by his feet.

"Wanna watch a movie?" He asked siting up. She nodded her head. "Alright." He got up to go get a couple DVDs from his bunk. She took this opportunity to take his blanket and wrap it around her body. When he came back he shook his head at her. After he put in the first movie he came back to the couch, picked her up then sat her on his lap. She snuggled close to his chest. He draped another blanket around them and leaned back into the couch. Soon Autumn fell asleep in his arms. Jordon smiled softly down at her and rested his cheek on the top of her head. Her blonde hair was soft against his face and smelled strongly of strawberries. The smell gave him a sense of comfort and soon he too fell asleep.

The next morning Jordon woke to the sound of a cell phone buzzing. He shifted carefully so that he wouldn't wake up Autumn. A slow smile spread across his face as he looked at the blonde who was still curled up on his chest. He reached his hand down to pick up the phone off the floor and saw that it was hers. His eyes flicked to the screen- it read 'new job'. "Damn." He muttered. Gently he shook her shoulder until she woke up.

"What 'appen?" She yawned. He held up her phone to her. Her eyes snapped open. Quickly she called her boss back and headed to the back lounge for more privacy. As she rushed down the narrow hallway George hopped back into his bunk so that she didn't run into him. "Sorry!" She called to him over her shoulder.

"You're good." He replied.

"Hey." Jordon greeted as George made his way to the front. "We got any aspirin?"

"Yeah it's by the coffee." He said and tossed the bottle of pills to Jordon. "What's up with her? She looked worried."

"New job remember."

George sighed. "I don't remember much of last night. Surprised that you do." He chuckled and began to make coffee.

After the coffee had been made George started in on making pancakes, eggs, and hash browns for breakfast.

"I smell food." Matt said groggily as him and Dylan walked out into the front lounge. Danny and Jorel soon followed behind them.

Dylan's brow furrowed as he looked around the bus. "That girl still here?"

"Yeah she's just on the phone in the back." George answered.

"Okay." Autumn said. George jumped back from the stove, nearly spilling the eggs. He turned and told her not to sneak around him. "Sorry." She said. George waved her off and went back to cooking.

"What'd your boss say?" Jordon asked curiously. She smiled at him and sat down in his lap.

"Well he said that I need to learn to answer his calls when he calls the first time. And that my first job is to be your guys' touring manager." This earned her high fives from each of the guys and a hug from Jordon.
