Frank Iero- Drive In Scary Movie
Your pov
"Y/n, you're coming to the movies with us, right?" My friend Hayley asked, just before class started.
"Of course, it's gonna be so fun. I feel like it's been so long since we all hung out."
"I know, it's been awhile." Just then, a group of rowdy rough boys waltzed through the door. Gerard... Ray... Mikey... and of course, Frankie Iero...
"Late, once again..." The teacher muttered.
"Hey, princess," Frank greeted, taking his seat in front of me.
"Hey, Frankie."
"You uh, headin' to the drive in tonight?"
"Yeah, me and the girls are goin'. Will we be seeing you?"
"Maybe, still thinkin' about it." He then turned to his friends, talking about who knows what.
"He's so crushing on you..." Hayley said.
"I know, he's been crushing on me since like, the third grade."
"Well, why haven't you said anything?" I shrugged.
"Never really thought about it. We kinda just, got a little thing going."
"Oh, you mean flirting with each other constantly while I sit dying on the sidelines because I want you two to get together already?"
"Wow, I had no idea you cared so much."
"I so do care!" She sighed, "Do you even like him?"
"Uhm," My gaze moved to him, "Maybe..."
Time skip to sometime after school
Quickly, I changed into something just a tad nicer than my usual school attire. A long grey and black striped sweater with rips at the ends. I added cute black leggings and my converse, and then stared at myself in the mirror.
"Frankie Iero..." I said, squinting at the mirror, "Will he like it? Should I do my hair? Or makeup? I don't even know how to use makeup..." boys have never really liked me... why would it be any different with him?
"Ugh, who cares!?" I began messing with my hair until my phone buzzed.
Hayley<3: we're almost there!!
Me: ok cool
Do I look okay? What do boys even like? I don't care... why do I care? I shouldn't care... just... be myself... yeah... it'll be fine...
There was a knock at the door, grabbing my bag I quickly ran down the stairs. Desperately, I tried getting to the door before my parents could. But I was too late.
"Hayley, Annie, and..."
"This is Gwen, you've met her before, dad."
"I don't think so..."
"Please, can I go? We're just going to the movies."
"Let her go! I already said she could." My mom called from the living room.
"There won't be boys there, right?" I nodded, not entirely sure, "Fine..." I quickly went out the door, joining the girls in Gwen's truck.
"I thought it'd be cool to bring the truck so we could hang out in the trunk."
"Nice..." I said.
"Don't worry, you and Frank can have it all to yourselves."
"What!? No! I don't even know if he'll be there."
"Oh, he'll be there..." Gwen said, snickering.
"What?" She pointed to the car behind us. Turning, I was met with the group of boys from earlier. Except I could only see Gerard and Frank in the front seats. Oh god... I should've done my hair... makeup... who am I kidding? I suck at that stuff anyways... it woulda been a total mess...
"Aww, you're blushing!"
"I am not!" I cried, hiding my blush.
"You like him! You so do!"
"No, I don't! Ah, shut up!"
"Yeah guys, be quiet, I gotta get our tickets." Gwen said, talking to the ticket person standing outside the truck. Finally, we pulled in with the trunk facing the screen. Right next to us, a van pulled in doing the same thing. The four boys immediately came over to us.
"Hey, I wasn't sure if you'd show." I said.
"Of course we did! Why'd you think we wouldn't!?" Gerard said.
"A little rat told me you might not," I said as Frank stepped towards me, "Speaking of..."
"Princess, you wanna sit with me during the movie?" He asked.
"I dunno, why? Are you scared?" I teased.
"No, I thought maybe you'd be scared."
"Why would I be scared? It's only a movie."
"Not just any movie," He leaned in and whispered, "Guy with a chainsaw in the woods two," I rolled my eyes, walking back to the truck, "What? Too scary for ya?"
"Not at all!" I giggled as my friends just stared at me, smirking, "What?" They all sent looks, "Oh, shut up!"
"I didn't say anything..." Annie said in a strange tone. I rolled my eyes.
"I'm not into him."
"Didn't say you were..." Gwen giggled.
"Wanna go get snacks?" Hayley asked.
"Sure, maybe we can get away from these dorks." I said, jokingly.
"Please, you're the dork here! 'Oh, Frankie...'" They mocked. I turned around, making goofy faces at them. They did the same back until I could see them no longer.
"You do call him Frankie a lot."
"So? He calls me princess." She sighed.
"Because he likes you!"
"I don't wanna talk about this anymore."
"Fine," We walked inside the little building where they sold concessions, had bathrooms, and little seating areas, "What do you want?" I hummed.
"Just popcorn, that's probably what-" Suddenly, a boy with dark hair jumped up behind us, yelling, "Nice try, Frankie."
"Seriously? I didn't scare you?"
"Not me, Hayley jumped though."
"I did not!"
"You so did!" She groaned, rolling her eyes, and talking to the guy at the counter.
"So, you never answered my question."
"Question? What question?"
"The one about you sitting with me." He stepped closer.
"I dunno, where will you be sitting?"
"Wherever you'll be, princess." Wow... good answer...
"Fine, you can pay me a visit while I'm sitting with the girls. And maybe, I'll pay you a visit in return." He stepped closer once again.
"Is that a promise?"
"It can be."
"Cool..."
"Y/n, c'mon, the girls are waiting for us." Hayley stood just by the doorway.
"Alright," I looked to the floor for just a moment, then back at him, "See ya." Quickly, I kissed his cheek and ran out the door. Almost immediately I began laughing. So did Hayley.
"What even was that?" She asked.
"I dunno! It just kinda, happened." We began walking back towards the truck, only one boy was on my mind when Hayley started talking to the girls.
"Hey guys, Y/n just-" I covered her mouth with my hand.
"What? Haha, I didn't do anything!" I pulled her away, "If they know I'll never escape their comments." I whispered to her.
"Fine, I won't say anything..."
"Thank you."
"Of course, that's what friends are for... I guess..." I smiled, joining the other two, and getting comfortable in the trunk. I couldn't help but notice a dark haired boy staring at me from the van beside us.
"Frankie! I see you!" He ducked down, still visible, so I jumped out, "What are you doing?" I asked, the other boys were absent from the van.
"Just lookin' at a pretty lady."
"Who? Annie?" I asked, knowing perfectly well he was talking about me.
"No," He smirked, "You, babe..."
"B-"
"Y/n! It's so cool for you to join us!" Gerard came over, taking me into a rough side hug. He smells like ass...
"Oh, I was just checking out your set up. I'm gonna... I'm gonna go back to the truck. See ya, Frankie." I walked off. Gerard's a nice guy... just, he ruined the moment...
"Where'd you run off to, princess?" Gwen teased.
"Nowhere..."
"Sure," She went silent for a moment, "Frank's lookin' over here."
"What!?" I turned towards the van to find he, in fact, was not. They all laughed.
"Just admit that you like him!" Annie teased.
"Y/n, I'm sorry, I can't do it," Hayley began, my eyes went wide, "Y/n kissed Frank in the concession stand!"
"What!?"
"No! I didn't kiss him," I went a little quiet, "I just, pecked his cheek."
"Awww!" They all squealed. My face heated.
"So you do like him, then?" I covered my face, but nodded.
"Awww!" They did it again.
"But, don't make a big deal, please." I whispered, just as the previews finally began.
"I'm gonna head to the bathroom, be back soon!" Said Annie.
"Oh, I'll go with you." Gwen joined her, and I was left with Hayley. But she began to get up, too.
"Where are you going? The movie's about to start!"
"Don't worry, I'm heading over to the boys. I think Ray's over there with them."
"Oh I see how it is. You get them to freak out about me and Frankie so they don't do it for you and Ray?"
"Maybe..." She giggled, running off. And then there was one...
The movie began, and I sat by myself for just a few minutes. It started off like any other cheesy horror movie. Teenagers go camping in the woods, there's rumored to be a some sort of something man on the loose in said woods. And then they get picked off one by one. As I sat there, a noise came from the side of the truck.
"Frankie, I know it's you..." Some more noises came from it, so I looked over, "Frankie, you're not gonna scare me-" He jumped up and screamed in my face, "You're gonna have to try harder than that, babe."
"Oh, come on! That was so scary!" He cried, taking a seat next to me. I shook my head.
"So, you scared?" I asked, referring to the fact that he had came and sat next to me.
"No, I just thought maybe you were scared."
"Please, not at all." He scooted closer to me. I turned my head to face him, he held a strange look, but turned away.
"Uhm, I'm sorry about Gerard, earlier."
"It's fine..." He sent a smile, then went quiet, watching the movie. Every few minutes, he scooted closer to me, until he was only inches away.
"Frankie..." I turned to him.
"Yeah?" He turned to me, our lips fairly close.
"I, uh-" But before I could say another word, my hand decided it would be a nice idea to pull on the collar of his shirt. As soon as our lips met, he began giggling. He then fell over top of me, pressing his lips to mine over and over again.
"Princess, I didn't think you had it in ya." He said, pulling away for only a moment.
"Well, Frankie, it's not like you were gonna." He smirked against my lips, pressing harder. The metal from his lip ring felt cold, but nice at the same time.
"Princess?" He asked, pulling away.
"Yes, Frankie?"
"Can I tell you something?" I nodded, "You look so fuckin' good tonight." I giggled. Oh, that's a relief...
"You do too." He smiled, kissing me more. Just then, there was a rustling sound beside the truck. I pulled away, concerned.
"What?"
"You hear that?" He looked at me strangely, when all of our friends jumped up, screaming. Frank leaped off me, terrified. Everyone laughed, including me.
"Scared now?" I asked him.
"No way!" He tried to play it off as if nothing had happened.
"Yeah, you totally jumped!" I laughed, leaning into him.
"But you did too!"
"I so did not!" Everyone then sat with us in the trunk. As we watched the movie, Frank's hand went over mine, while my head rested on his shoulder. He kissed my head.
"Oh, princess..." He whispered.
"Oh, Frankie..." I whispered back, smiling. This is not what I expected out of a girls night... but, I love every second of it...
