Percussionist: "Hey, you know how you have to buzz your lips to get a sound out of the trumpet?"

Trumpet Player: "Yeah..."

Percussionist: "And you know how if you blow into the instrument without buzzing your lips, then no sound comes out?"

Trumpet Player: "Yeah..."

Percussionist: "So you know that the only way to make a sound out of the instrument is to make the air vibrate via the mouthpiece?"

Trumpet Player: "Yeah..."

Percussionist: "Well, scientists have actually figured out a way to get a sound out of it in a different way, you wanna see it?!"

Trumpet Player: "Okay..." *slowly hands trumpet*

Percussionist: "Now watch closely." *takes trumpet and raises drumstick in the air quickly*
