Evan's POV:

I ran my finger tips over his cheek, slowly trailing down his neck and resting my hand on his shoulder, looking up at his face. My bland brown eyes met his shimmering, crystal clear blue ones in a moment of silent understanding.

My other hand reached up, finding his chest. I snaked it around to the back of his neck and slowly brought him closer. I could feel him place his hands on my hips and I smiled at the sensation of his touch.

"Jon...." I uttered out his name, "I love you." I admitted, searching his face for any sign of response.

Jonathan smiled, showing his beautifully white teeth, "I love you too, Evan."

He leaned in and I felt his hot breath against my lips. We were so close....

A sudden beeping snapped me from my thoughts and I opened my eyes to the bright glare of sunlight in my face. Sitting up, I traced my fingers over my lips.

That scene had played over and over in my dreams and each time we even came close to kissing, I'd wake up.

No matter how much I dream, no matter how hard I try, Delirious and I can never be together.
