I really love you(Minicat) part 2
(Time skip to before dinner)
3rd POV:
Tyler stood outside the restaurant, tapping his foot slightly as he waited for Craig's arrival. A dark red car pulled up and Craig stepped out from the back seat. He was dressed in a sharp black suit with a bow tie and had his hair slicked perfectly to the side. Tyler couldn't help but stare he loved when Craig got dressed up, admiring how handsome his boyfriend was and how lucky he was to have him. "Sorry I'm late," Craig's voice brought Tyler out of trance, "the Uber got lost."
"No, no it's just fine. Our reservation isn't for another ten minutes anyway." Tyler reassured him and they walked up to the bar to wait.
Tyler ordered them both drinks. Craig watched as Tyler quickly polished off his liquor. "Tyler, are you alright l? You seem....on edge."
Tyler shook his head, giving Craig a smile. "I'm totally great. He said but could tell that Craig wasn't buying it. Before they could say anything else, the hostess called their reservation name. They followed her to a small, candle lit table that looked out over the small park were they had first kissed two years prior. Craig looked out the window at the green space and smiled warmly, remarrying the moment.
"Would you like anything to drink?" The waitress asked and Craig turned to look at her.
"Ah yes, I'll have a Coke." She scribbled on her pad and looked to Tyler.
"A glass of Chardogaige please." Craig loved how Tyler was so polite, always using his pleases and thanks yous.
Tyler and Craig ended up talking and losing track of time and before they knew it, they were almost done with dinner. "Ha yeah, that was really good." Craig said, wiping his mouth with his napkin and placing it on the table to signify that he was finished eating.
"I agree, totally worth it. But," Tyler said standing up, "our night's not quiet over yet." He left a check in the small payment folder and grabbed Craig, dragging him out of the restaurant and across the street to the park.
"Tyler what?" Craig questioned as he got dragged along. Tyler stopped right besides the tree that they had kissed under all those years ago and faced Craig, looking him deep in the eyes.
"Craig, I really, really love you. I love the way you laugh and your smile. I love your sense of humor and I really love the stories you tell. I love your body, your face, your hair, your smarts, your voice, your individualism. I love everything about you." Tyler went on and Craig felt his face heat up and eyes sting at all the sweet words that his lover said. "That's why, Craig, if you will, I'd love for you to make me the happiest man alive."
Tyler knelt down, pulling out a small velvet box an opened it to show a shimmering silver ring. "Oh my god, Tyler Yes!" Craig exclaimed, feeling the tears threaten his eyes even more as the ring was slipped onto his left hand. Tyler stood and passionately kissed the flustered Craig.
"I really love you..."
"I really love you too, Tyler..."
