Belated Valentines Day (Minicat)
Craig's POV:
"Tyler!" I called, not expecting a response since he was recording, "I'm going to Walmart, I'll be back in like a half an hour!" I said, opening the door and walking out. Walmart was relatively close so it was easy to walk there, but it was February so it was a bit cooler out than usual. When I arrived at Walmart, I went straight to the food section, hoping to pick up dinner for the evening. i was walking toward the freezer section when an almost completely empty isle caught my attention. It was the candy isle. That's right, Valentine's day was two days ago and this was the scattered remains of the chocolates and cinnamon hearts. I hesitantly turned into the aisle, looking at barron shelves. Picking up a package, I looked at the price. An entire thing of candies was only 99 cents but as tempting as it was, I set the box down. I was a bit sour because two days after Valentine's Day and Tyler hadn't gotten me anything, not even a simple card or candy bar like usual. It really bothered me because this was out of the ordinary for him, despite how unromantic he already was. It made me a bit nervous but I tried to forget about it as I continued to shop.
Tyler's POV:
I waited a minute after Craig left before springing from my chair, running to the bedroom. I knew I had forgotten Valentine's Day and now was my chance to make it up to Craig. I grabbed a handful of his favorite candy bars from the head board that I had hidden there the day before. I then went to the kitchen and opened the fridge. It was empty for the most part besides a handful of soft drinks and some monster. Grabbing the monsters, I headed to the living room, setting the goodies on the small table besides the couch. I knew that I didn't have much time and ran back to our bedroom, rifling through a small collection of movies we had. There were a select few that Craig absolutely loved and I snatched them up, retiring to the living room. I spread them out and sat down with a deep sigh.
Almost as if on cue, the door clicked open. "Listen, Tyler we have to-" Craig started saying but paused when he saw what I had done. "Oh my god you fuckin idiot, you had me worried shitless."
I looked up at him confused as he set the Walmart bags down on the counter. "What do you mean?"
"Mm, don't worry about it." He said, giving me a smile as he sat down on the couch.
With a laugh, I shook my head. "Whatever you say, babe." I pulled back his hair and kissed his forehead gingerly. "Now how 'bout we watch a movie?" I ask.
"Oh, abso-fucking-lutly!" Craig exclaimed happily.
The rest of our night was spent watching movies, eating junk food and just having a great belated Valentine's Day.
