I saw as she went out of the room , not before instructing Manya to not tell any of this to Nikhil...

As if he'll do anything to me... Does she think I'm some fool who'll let anyone or anything harm my family...

She couldn't take care of my Aai ...

Flashback...

I was on the way to my house... Just had a feeling to meet aai and from last 5 days I haven't seen Drishti in the company working with me ... i craved meeting her and hearing her voice... I took a small bouquet of red roses , just feeling I think nothing more than that...

I check myself in the rear view mirror and set my hair and see a big smile on my face , and then I notice i have been smiling a lot lately...

I enter my house keep the bouquet on the table and first go to aai's room to meet her... and i see her chest raising and dropping vigorously...

Aai kya huaa??(i said and sit near her )

Drishti!!
Drishti!!

Aai rukk pani pee...(i said taking the glass from night stand and made her drink water)

And i saw Aai's medicines as it is on the night stand as well...

Drishti!
Drishti!!(i called her again)

Kaha haii yeh??(i said opening aai's medicines and made her eat them)

And as her breathings were still rapid , i decided to take her to the hospital, no risks...

On my way i called Drishti and got to know , she went to RVL... Fucking RVL... What is more important to her , visiting her family or my mother's health....

And she called me back but I didn't pick it up...

Inki medicines time par nahi di gayi... mene aapko pehle bhi kaha tha medicines time to time deni haii...(Doctor scolded)

Woh- (i was about to say)

Hume thode check ups karne hongee... (he informed)

Okay...(i said and went back in the room and saw everyone was already there and i stood there )

And suddenly a few steps were heard and i turned around to see Drishti, walking in and my blood immediately boild and she ignored me and started walking towards Aai , The guts she have...

and i held her and started walking out of the room...

It's been night,  and Aai has been discharged after all her reports were normal and Doctor strictly told that she shouldn't miss any of her medicines... and she's been resting since then...

And i entered my house and saw the bouquet on the table and picked it up , the roses were wittering....

And suddenly a Drishti with a big smile flashed in front of my eyes , and the other moment I remembered her eyes , her face structure just after I slapped her...

Shitttt !! Did I really do that??(I held my head )

(Saying this i went in my room and on my way i called her , again and again and again but she didn't pick up the call)

And i called and finally it was picked...

Hello...(i said)

Kya haii??? (Nayan's voice came)

Nayan mujhe Drishti se baat karni haii baat karwao please...

Usko maarkar chen nahi mila aapko...(he said , so she told this to everyone)

Nayan yeh hum dono ka matter haii , mujhe Drishti se baat karwao...

Woh nahi karegi aapse baat... Joh kehna hai mujhse kaho , arrey mujhe suna bhi nahi haii ... Agli baar is number par call kiya naa toh aapke liye sahi nahi hoga...

Or mene life me acha kiya hi kya haii?? Achi bahu nahi ban paayi , achi patni nahi ban paayi , achi beti-
(I heard Drishti's broken yet crying voice and the phone was hung in between)

Slapping her was wrong... I couldn't control my anger , what if something happened to Aai , if i have had not come on time at that time...

We all trusted her , that's why i got so angry... i can note bear anything happening to my Aai... I love her more than anything... and when I trusted her with the most important thing, she just left it like anything...

I sat on the edge of the bed... and swiped my hands on my face ... and looked at my right hand from which i hurted her...

Shittt yarrr...(i said yet again and called her but no one picked the call)

Nikhil... I called Nikhil... he wouldn't say a word against me , if he wants to be with my sister... and as Drishti said he loves her!!

Hello... (he picked the call)

Hello Nikhil free hai??(i asked)

Haaa jiju ... dinner le rahe thd hum bas...(he informed me)

Drishti hsi passme ??

Haa..

Mujhe baat karwana ..

Haa ek second...

Drishti (he said)

Mujhe nahi karni bolde..

Ji-

Urgent hai usko bol...(i interrupted her)

Drishti yarr urgent hai do mint karlena..

Unko bolde me kisi kaam ki nahi ... khood manage karle...

Drishti karlena yarr... itni badi baat nahi...

Tereliye nahi hogi... Tu bolde

Drishti...(Dad, Drishti's father's voice said with a lot of authority)

Dad woh nahi karegi... Drishti koi jaroorat nahi... (Nayan said)

Now!!( Dad ordered)

Finee... (Drishti's frustrated voice said)

Jiju baat karo...(Nikhil said)

Haaa..(i said)

And silence settled... that said Drishti was on the other side...

Hello...(i said in a soft voice)

Hmm..(she said)

Kya lagta hai..(she replied)

Kab aayegi??

Ab kabhi nahi...(she said not before snorting and heard sliding of the chair and walking)

Drishti yarr mene gusse me keh diya...

Wese Aai- i mean AAPKI aai kesi hai??(she asked)

Reports normal aayi hai...(i said)

Achi baat haii ... me toh unki beti nahi thi aap unke bete ho aap dhyaan rakhna...(she said and her voice cracked)

Mujhe neend aarahi hai..(she said)

Ek baar-

Bhu- Woh divorse papers bhej dena... thank you...(she said and the call was hung)

It felt like i was talking to a complete stranger, she didn't even acknowledged my apology... and that pierced my heart ...and there was a knock on my door and the door opened...

Bhuvan..(Aman said looking inside)

Aana..(i said and stood up and Aman entered)

Drishti se baat hui...(he asked )

Haa ..(i replied looking away)

Tune change nahi kiya??(he asked)

Nahi , woh - Drishti se- me bhool gaya...(I wasn't able to say)

Acha change karke aaja phir baat kartey hai... wese dinner kartey hai aaja...(He said)

Bhookh nahi hai..(i mumbled )

Koina humaare pass baith jana , aaja jaldi , and no excuses...(saying this he went)

Kessi hai Aai teri tabiyat??(i said entering the dining room)

Mujhe kya hona hai , sab badhiyaa...(Aai said with her beautiful smile and i hugged her and went and sat on my chair and I looked over the chair near me where Drishti sat , that was empty)

Drishti kaha hai?? Kitni der se aayegi??(Aai asked , she doesn't know anything what happened in the room as she was given heavy dose of medicines and she was in a deep sleep)

Wohh- wohh- nahi aayegi..(i said)

Kyu kya hua??(Aai asked)

Woh apne ghar gayi hai ... (i said)

Achaa .. mujhe bhataya nahi usne...

Tu neend me thi ...

Par ese itni jaldi kya thi use...(she got sad)

Tu kiski chinta kar rahi hai , joh teri care nahi kar paayi dhangse...(i said getting angry)

Yeh kya baat hui... or usne har time meri care ki hai ... toh yeh baat tu rehnede...(Aai said)

Agar teri care kartina woh,  toh ese apne gharwalon se milne nahi jaati tujhe yaha akela chodke ...(i said)

Kab gayi woh?? Poore time mere pass thi ... ek second bhi nahi uthii ... time par dawai , time par khana , mere dhyaan rakha , sab chod mere per dukh rahe the usne woh bhi dabaaye haii... poore time toh mere pass thi woh...

Aai uski side mat le ... me jab ghar aaya woh , RVL me thi tujhe akela chodke , teri dawaiyan bhi nahi di usne...

Toh isme uski konsi galti...

Aai jab usne tere care karneko bola tha , usko karni chahiye thi ese kon jata hai??

Tujhe poori baat pata hai??(Aai said)

Kya hua bhata??

Tujhe woh akela chodke chali gayi , apni family se milne yeh toh me time par aagaya ...(i gave an incomplete information as I didn't wanted to tell her she wasn't able to breath properly)

Jab bhi tujhe lage ki tujhe sab pata haii , samjh jana tujhe kuch nahi pata hai...(She said and did something on her phone and put her phone on the table and after a few seconds rings were heard , she called someone and put the phone on speaker)

Hello...(Drishti's voice was heard)

Mera kya matlab aap bhatao aap kese ho??

Mujhe kya hoga ... ekdum first class...

I am sorry aai , mujhe nahi jana chahiye tha...(she cried)

Mene hi bola thana jaaneko...(Aaj said and k was shoked)

I am sorry aai...(she cried and her voice was breaking and my heart clenched and I looked around Tripti had tears in her eyes )

Wese Files dedi thi tune...

Haa Aai waha pohochi hi thi dhangse khadi bhi nahi hui or aapke beta ka call agaya , me dar gayi or aapke ghar call kiya toh Pawan bhaiya ne bhataya kya hua phir me hospital aayi phata phat...(she said everything, Files??)

Achaa ... mujhse kal milne aana ...(Aai said)

Aai nahi please ... call par baat kartey hai apan ...

Drishti-

Thik haii... wese tu aati toh mujhe acha lagta ...(and there was silence)

Khana khaya tune??

Haa ... aapne??

Haa khaa hi rahi hu... 

Aai oily or meetha nahi , namak kam...(she instructed)

Haa betaa...(Aai laughed)

Thik hai aap khana khao apan baad me baat kartey hai...(she said)

Byee!!! (And the call was cut)

Drishti mere per dabba hi rahi thi , jab usko call aaya ... usne thodi zidd behen ki call kaat diya...(Aaj said and I looked at her)

Mene poocha kya hua toh pehle bhatya nahi , phir mene force kiya toh boli ki tere saalon(Brother-in-law) ki important meeting hai bohot or uski file Drishti ke pass thi , last checking ke liye...

Ab unko yeh file chahiye thi...(Aai said)

RVL choti company nahi hai Aai... kitne workers hai waha koi bhi aake leja sakta tha...(i interrupted)

Mujhe bolne dega... Drishtii ne bhatya ki unki company se baatein leak ho rahi haii , toh kissi bhi worker par bharosa nahi kar saktey...

Leak??

Haa unki baatein leak ho rahi hai company se... Or yeh meeting/deal bohot hi badi or important thi unki company ke liye... Toh phir mene use kehdiya ki woh chali jaaye me apna dhyaan rakh lungi...

Usne bohot mana kiya ... mene use meri kasam dedi or use manana pada or woh mujhe sab dawaaiyaan bhata kar gayi hai with time ... but pata nahi me kese bhool gayi....

Aai said and immediately my right palm stinged... and I looked at it , I slapped her for absolutely no reason...

Excuse me ...(i said and got up from my chair , my hands were sweating)

And I started going towards my room , Drishti's happy face continuously flashed in my mind...

Bhu- woh divorse papers bhejdena...(Her voice echoed )

And i felt a tear slip down my eyes....
