As Lily said, the Heretics were merciless creatures. But they didn't know that this group of vampires with their witch had stood up to the most notorious vampire not once~ and Bonnie was prepared to rebuff their magic making them chocke down for a moment as she asked everyone present to leave the house telling Damon to take zhe Grimoire with him.

"I am not going to leave you with them!!!"- he shouted at her.

"Do as I say!!!" -Bonnie said in a very commanding way-"I can hold them off for only a few more minutes- now Damon!!"

There waa no contradicting her. In three seconds he swished to take the Grimoire, give it to Stefan and went back for her- grabbing her away in his arms out of the Boarding House.
Somewhere in the woods he let her down.

"Huh- I know now how Lois felt -"- Bonnie now took up another breath.
"Lois?"
"Superman?!!"- Bonnie said-"phew-is everyone else all right"
Damon now checked with Stefan as Caroline got ripped badly.

"Yeah- we went for the lake"- Stefan said.

As he reported it to Bonnie he then felt a smell of burn-

"Look- Damon!"- Bonnie now said and they both could see flames of fire in the distance.

"Nooooo;- Damon saud and swished away in the direction of the fire-
He ciuld hear Bonnie shout for gim, but he had to go and see for himself hoping it was not true what he was seeing. But it was exactly what he feared- the Heretics set the Boarfing House in fire.
He knew he could not come close as the wretched vampire-witches were still there. Soin Stefan stood beside him and they both were stunned at the sifht if their home burning away.

"Bonnie!"-Damon then slipped~"I left her in the woods"

"Elena's got her- come on, let's go"- Stefan then said and they left for the Gilbert lake house.

In the Saltzmann house, Alaric now woke up as he heard banging on the front door.

"I will go look"- Alaric said. But Jo was not a person who would wait. 

It was Liv with Kai.

"He is not coming into this house!"- Alaric said to Liv.

"You don't let us in- then the Heretics have a direct link to Jo and the babies and it all goes to hell!"- Kai said.

"And he is not joking!"- Liv said.

"Get in!"- Jo now said. She whispered words of magic now allowing Kai to enter the house.

Alaric was not happy, but the way Liv looked at him said that something major was getting down. Liv now received the message that the Salvatore house was set on fire by they five crazy Gemini witches of the heretic kind.

Liv now called Stefan- and he told what had happened. Also about Lily and that they have the compass device-

"You have to get out of Mystic Falls!"- Liv then said- "like now!"

Stefan now put Liv on loud speaker for Bonnie's sake.

"There is this ritual where they get the power from the ultimate source of magic!"- Liv said.

"I know"- Bonnie said.

"How?"-

"Damon and Stefan's grandfather made a deal with your family and my family to hide it. They also killed nearly all those who turned the heretic and only five of them survived- they thought they stripped them off of magic completely but it wasn't so. They used the blood of the Gemini twins Albert and Louisa to reverse it at one point."

"Yes"- Liv said- "I've just found that the same thing from dad! Then you know that they need the device, but they need Jo's twins and they need Kai as well as you- because of the magic."

"That's why Kai was so powerful?!"- Bonnie now concluded.

"yes- he carries the magic of the five-"

"What are you saying that we should run?"- Elena now said.

"We have to leave- and I am super serious!"- Liv added.

"But we all have the protective anti-locator magic on us!"- Damon said.

"For now- anyway- even if you can stay - we can't- they have blood connection to us and they can override our magic- I don't want to risk anything- One of them drank from Alaric- remember?"- Liv said- "and Kai!!"

Everyone in the lake house knew that Liv talked sense.

"Sorry, guys"- Liv then said and with a goodbye she hung up.

The five friends now looked at one another for a second and then Caroline, who was much better now said-reminding them- 

"They drank from me!!"

"I guess we have to go!"- Stefan said  thinking of the Boarding House that was in ashes now-"it's not like MF is really home anymore!"

Damon was quiet and now looked at Bonnie.

"We go to New Orleans."- she then said-

"What?"- Damon was surprised at her suggestion.

"I made a deal with Elijah!"- Bonnie said-

"Like he keeps a deal??"- Damon now said.

"Oh- he will keep this deal!"- Bonnie then said reassuringly, but she didn't say anything more. 

Damon took the compass device out of his jeans pocket now and looked at it. 

"What if we hide it- or just toss it away somewhere deep in the ocean?"- he now said.

"You think that then it is all done and they will leave us alone?'- Bonnie said looking at him sternly.

"We have to destroy it!"- Stefan then said.

"No can do! Yiu destroy it-you kill me and yourselves- it's bound to us by blood!"- Bonnie explained.

"Gramps!!:- Damon now concluded.

"A trap!"- Bonnie confirmed.

"So we are all going on a run??"- Elena asked.

"Till we find a solution we are on the run!"- Bonnie said.

"Wait- you made a deal with Elijah- why doesn't he jzst killed them?! or there is a loophole as well??"-Damon asked.

"Only a hybrid bite can kill them"- Bonnie said-"induced with certain magic"-

"Since when did they got so powerful"-

"They don't know they are- this is stuff I got from your Gramps!- and that magic is at the source off all magic and this compass device will lead us to it!"- Bonnie now divulged nearly all she had translated from the Salvatore's Grimoire.

"Shall I guess-they hid the compass and then constructed the fake world cos there was no hybrids to kill them??"- Stefan said

"Yeah- and the magic for constructing the fake world started with your grandfather!"- Bonnie said.

Both Damon and Stefan reeled with the news and the connection their family had to the Gemini.

"So- what is the plan?"- Elena said-"so we go to NOLA!"

Caroline then received the message from Enzo-

"It's been a pleasure knowing you. See you somewhere sometimes!"-she read the message and put the phone in the pocket.

She now joined the decision making council-

"I vote for NOLA- I hate to say it- but we need the Original muscle!"- she now thought of Klaus again and their latest meeting. 

"NOLA!"- Elena said without hesitation and her reasons were more than obvious.

"NOLA!"- Bonnie said.

"I guess- if Stefan and I vote against it we are in minority anyway!"- Damon then said. He was not really happy about the decision but it seemed a higher power was making the decision for them.

"I will pick up Matt!"- Caroline then said- "see you in NOLA"

"I am going with you-"- Elena said and the women went out of the lake house.

"Well- let's get this show on the road!"- Damon said looking at Bonnie and then at Stefan, who now passed the Grimoire to Bonnie saying-

"I think you will have a better use to it then I do. I will see you there"

"Where are you going, Stefan??"- Damon now asked slightly worried about his brother's actions.

"I am not going to NOLA!"- Stefan then declared.

"Stefan!!!!"- Damon was not pleased with his brother's decision.

"I cannot be in the town where the Originals are crawling in every corner!"- Stefan then said.

Damon understood. Stefan's history with the Originals and all that had happened in the last six months with Caroline, and him smelling Klaus' stench on her made the decision for him-

"Plus someone has to go after our mother!! Also, there is Sarah!!"

"I get it!"- Damon said with sadness in his heart as finally after more than a century they had found their brotherly connection. 

They hugged. They didn't know when or where they would see each other again- but it was different as it was not a finite thing like when he got trapped in the fake world.

Goodbye's were always hard- the brother's hugged and Stefan gave Bonnie a look of- take care of him- to what Bonnie nodded with a little reassuring smile, after which Stefan disappeared in the night.

"Hey-"- Bonnie now nudged Damon a little feeling his pain and anger in his eyes because once again happiness could not be complete-

Damon now turned to Bonnie with another horrific realization- "My car!!!"

"I thought about that, too- yikes!!"- she said-

Now there was an anger that she had seen many times, but not in that kind of madness-

"I am so going to enjoy the moment when the hybrids bite their neck off!!"- Damon siffted.

"The man i.e. vampires and their cars!!"- Bonnie thought to herself.

"Well- there is always my car!"- Bonnie said.

"The Toyota Prius?!? Ah, no offence- but no!! We need something that goes a little faster!"

"So, you are going to steal a car?!"

"Do we really have time to go shopping for a car!??"- Damon now retorted- "wait here!!" and Damon swished away.

"That's all I can do-"- Bonnie said now looking at the dark sky that was full of stars. Her phone rang and it was Elena with an update-

"Matt's not coming! I just had to stop Caroline from compelling him-"

Then she heard Caroline complaining about Elena's prude behaviour regarding Matt.

"It's his life- we have to respect it!"- Bonnie then said. 

"So- ahm- are you on your way??"- Elena now asked.

"We are having a slight glitch!"- Bonnie then said and explained about Damon's car being burnt down, which was proved to be true.

"Lena- phew- I don't know how to- it's so weird-"- Bonnie now started as she wanted to clearly voice out her feelings about all that went off between her and Damon- "I- for months- wanted to talk to you about it- didn't want to come out as a bitch- "

"Hey- you are not a bitch! You could never ever be one!!- "- Elena said-"what you and Damon have is real- I saw it- even before you got back from the fake world-"

"I can't believe we are doing this over the phone!"- Bonnie said with her eyes tearing up now.

"Oh- we will take some time to party this off in NOLA- now that I am back to my real self!!"- Elena said and Caroline second that.

Now they heard a car swish in front of Bonnie and Damon's voice asking Bonnie to hop in. 

"Got to go!"- Bonnie hung up and looked at the black BMW  in front of her-

"Batmobile?!"- Bonnie said as she got in.

"First thing available!"- Damon said-"You are into all these superheros- so - this is a beauty- it's an BMW Frozen Black Edition, V8 engine, double clutch transmissions-"

"All right! So it flies!"- Bonnie said.

"It will get us to NOLA!"- he said-"why so miserable?"

"Nothing!- just- I am fine."

"I know when you are fine and this is not fine!"- he said.

"I don't know why I am emotional!"- Bonnie admitted.

"We have done it all- we can do emotional!!"- he said.

She now looked at him with a little sparkle in her eyes. They had been through hell and back and although it still felt they were not out of it, at least now there was this new strength inside she had not ever felt before.

"I am fine!!"- Bonnie said emphasizing the last word dearly-"I am really fine!!"- 

Damon soul received the message loud and clear. He had entered through the doors of her heart.
