It was a known fact for everyone to never mess with Luca unless you're bold like Sydney or Gabriele who could probably get away without any consequences. Well, Gabriele's still an asshole who's still a bully to little Luca.

Mama Bear hates it.

But today, Sydney will get the end of mama bear's rage.

Currently, Enzo was passed out on the couch, oblivious of Sydney's friends watching him like a hawk.

Pierre was one of them.

There was no doubt that Enzo was good looking even if he was dressed in just a loose t-shirt and sweatpants. Gabriele paid no mind to them and was reading a book, watching Luca play with her toys from time to time since Pierre was  doing an amazing job at watching his little sister.

"Your brother's kinda hot." One of Sydney's girl friends said it out of nowhere that caused Sydney to smirk.

"You won't think he is after you see his other side."

She raised a brow. "Other side?"

Pierre shivered at the thought. "Oh, believe me, it's like staring at Satan."

Well, their father, Achilles, was the true Satan in the house.

"That's cool though." One of Sydney's friends said and looked at the man with a grin. "But I don't think that he's that kind of guy though. He looks pretty chill."

Pierre shook his head. "I can't believe that you said that out loud."

On cue, Pierre froze when Sydney called out Luca's name.

"Luca, sweet pea?"

Luca hummed in response.

Gabriele glared at Sydney.

"I won't be responsible if Enzo woke up on the wrong side of the bed, Syd."

Sydney shrugged. "Well, we're protected by Luca, Gabi. My friends on the other hand..." He drifted off and his gaze fell on his friends who were slightly nervous.

Gabriele snorted. "You're a moron if you think that Enzo will let you get away with what you'll be doing."

Of course, his words fell on deaf ears.

"Luca, won't you be a dear to me and try and wake up Enzy-Wenzy for us?"

Luca looked up at him, tilting her head to the side with curiosity filling up her sweet chocolate eyes.

Seeing that, Pierre shook his head. "Don't do it, Luca."

Gabriele snickered. "I don't think that you have the rights to order her around since you didn't do a good job at watching her."

Pierre facepalmed at his stupidity. Of course he forgot his job.

Luca stood up, leaving her toys behind her, and toddled towards a sleeping Enzo. She climbed up and laid herself down on Enzo's  chest. She hummed happily when he instinctively wrapped his arms around her protectively.

Everyone watched them with curiosity as Enzo slowly woke up, still in a daze. He fondly brushed Luca's curls out of her face with a soft satisfied hum.

"What's wrong, piccolina?" His groggy voice made every women in the room to queal quietly. "Did Gabriele bully you again?"

Gabriele wasn't even offended at what his elder brother just said. According to Luca, Gabriele's a 'bully with a big heart.'

Which, of course, doesn't make sense to him.

How could a bully have a big heart?

Luca grinned and giggled. "Enzo! Gabi didn't do anything this time."

"Ah, I see." He said with a small tired smile. He then looked at her. Enzo hugged his little sister tighter. "My little sweet dove." He booped her nose, making her giggle.

Luca then remembered something. "Ah, Enzy." She called, using her nickname for him.

He hummed, already used to the nickname.

"Sydney's friends were staring at you!"

Everyone visibly got nervous when they saw how his eyes turned cold, his hold on his sister tightened protectively.

"I did try warning them, Enzo." Sydney pipes up when he felt a dangerous aura surrounding the room.

"Is this true, Gabriele?"

Gabriele sighed, turning a page from his book. "As true as it could ever get."

He looked at Luca. His tone was soft unlike the way he asked Gabriele. "Is that true, dove?"

"Uh-huh." She  said and then raised her head up. "Gabi said that Mr. Pierre didn't look after me really good."

Gabriele snickered. "That's also true."

Pierre sighed pathetically, his head then bowed down. He prayed for a quick death. No, no! That's not right. He can't die yet. He wished that he'll be able to live a little longer.

Yeah, that's right.

He's wishing that he'll be spared.

Gabriele smirked. Luca was also a demon herself. She's a Cattaneo after all. And whether she knew that she's ending Pierre's life or not was not his problem to deal with.

Sydney also looked rather happy at Pierre's state.

Enzo then looked at Sydney's friends with a hard glare on his face.

"Do you think that I'm an entertainment here?" He harshly asked before sitting up. Luca was still in his arms, in fact, she wasn't even fazed when Enzo changed into someone harsh. "Do even know that staring at a person is quite rude?"

"We're sorry, sir." One of the ladies said and she even got the guts to look at him seductively.

He scoffed. "Are you even really? From your tone, I think that you want something else."

The lady giggled, biting her bottom lip. "You're quite observant."

"I think that you're just fucking stupid, you slut." He spat. At this point, Enzo was already covering Luca's ears and she was just chilling in his embrace.  Nobody, not even Gabriele, wants Luca to hear something so vulgar. They want to keep her innocence.

He then looked at Sydney. "You didn't even scolded them."

"I warned—"

Enzo's glare made Sydney immediately close his mouth. His heart was beating loudly and his aura was heavy and tense that it made Sydney bow his head in submission.

"Do you think that using Luca for your own entertainment is a fucking good idea, Sydney?"

He shook his head. Sydney was smart enough to keep his mouth shut.

"Use your words, damn it!"

That one order made Sydney almost run for the hills but he didn't. He only to one shaky sigh before answering his eldest brother.

"No, sir."

"I don't want you to act like you're cool because right now, you aren't. Luca and I aren't entertainers, do you hear me?"

"Yes sir... "

Enzo then looked at his friends. "You should quit staring at me or I'll put a bullet into all of your heads." His tone meant business and by business, it means that he's serious.

Everyone then turned around, already sweating like crazy.

Pierre was mentally shaking. He was so scared that he almost pissed in his pants.

A grumpy Enzo was okay but if it was mixed with mama bear Enzo, then it means that somebody's asking for a fucking death wish.

The Cattaneo wasn't a normal family. They're hands are stained with blood. They're used to having power. They're people who should not be taken lightly.

They're a family who people should never mess with.

Because they're true with their words and when they say that they'll kill you, they will.

Gabriele, the sadist, laughed loudly making everyone (including Sydney) flinch.

"You, out of all people, should know that you shouldn't mess with Mama bear because if you mess with it, it bites. When you fool it, you already fooled yourself. How are you such an idiot?"

Sydney was already swimming in his embarrassment.

He knew that and yet he was so confident that Enzo wouldn't scold him.

Enzo wasn't even fazed when Gabriele called him a mama bear. Everyone was already calling him that and he knows that he already stepped up into the role of being a mama bear to Luca.

After that, he removed his hands from Luca's ears.

The little girl looked up at him and smiled so warmly that the heavy aura in the room began to feel a bit lighter now.

"Did you scold them?" Luca's eyes were filled with innocence that Sydney's friends thought that she was lucky to have such a scary brother.

They feel bad for her future boyfriend though.

Enzo smiled and nodded. His scary expression immediately changed into a soft one. "Only a little."

'That wasn't little!' Everyone thought.

After a moment of silence, Luca looked at him again.

"Enzy!" She called brightly.

Enzo's eyes softened and he kissed her forehead lovingly. "Yeah, bambina?"

"Want cuddles." Luca said lovingly that it actually scared everyone (Except for Sydney and Gabriele. Gabriele was just happy to see the fear in everyone's faces).

Enzo then laid back down, pulling Luca into his warm embrace again and sighed happily.

"Satisfied?" Enzo softly asked the little girl.

Luca nodded and cuddled up with him. "Very happy."

From that they forth, everyone was careful around Luca and Enzo.

Because if Enzo activated his Mama Bear mode then that would be the end of the world.

Gabriele smirked at that and just returned to his book.
