They all groaned, mind hazed and was feeling a bit nauseous.

They were confused. The last thing that they've remembered was the feeling of their soft mattresses and their familiar ceilings as they closed their eyes to drift off onto tomorrow.

But when they opened their eyes, nothing but an unknown stench greeted their sense of smell.

They couldn't even move.

They were all chained up. The chains were rattled as they struggled. Achilles was the first to wake up. However, he was immediately displeased. Achilles narrowed his eyes when he saw their situation.

Someone had the audacity to drug them and put them in this situation.

Thankfully, no one was hurt. His sons were still unconscious. He wondered why Lucian and his wife were there but there were no obvious injuries.

Achilles then narrowed down his enemies, trying to guess who this enemy might be.

The main questions were who and what.

This enemy would've obviously been a skilled person because they drugged two of the most powerful leaders and had the guts to even chain them up so professionally that even Achilles was having a hard time in trying to break it off.

Well, shame. Achilles internally grumbled. I don't feel like a powerful leader right now. I feel like shit.

Well, good thing was that when he saw his surroundings, he immediately had a guess on who this person might be.

So he waited for others to wake up. He doesn't know why she'd do such a thing but he already have hunch.

No, he was sure that the reason why she did this was because of that reason.

Finally, the curtain arises.

"Ah, I love this room, love the smell. It gives you some sort of bad news, don't you think?"

For a normal person, this room would've scared them.

The wooden floor was dirty, cold and old, it creaks and it was rotting away, the ceiling looked like it would collapse at any second and the walls were filled with knives and chains and torture devices that would make anyone faint.

Achilles wondered if she has other devices that would give a person a slow and painful death.

Gabriele sighed loudly. "Aunt Tasha... "

Tasha walks out of her shadow. The smile on her face was terribly terrifying. It wasn't soft nor was it warm. It was a cheshire smile. A eerie smile that just melt you and coat you with obvious fear. A normal person would've screamed for help but everyone was all thinking the same thing.

Even if you scream, who would help you?

This building was located in a deserted place. No-one will find this place so easily and no one will ever dare to come here. The road here is dangerous enough. If a normal person uses the road, they'll either die or get lost.

But that's the reason why Tasha loved it.

She loves coming here, love to play with bad people.

She definitely loves her guinea pigs.

And Achilles never wanted to be her guinea pig.

Or her experimental rat.

"Hi, darling." She said lovingly while playing with a very sharp knife. "Sorry to kidnap you but I just wanted to talk."

"This is useless!" Lucian spat. "Why must I partake in your games?"

Tasha hummed thoughtfully, raising her knife and was looking at it like it was her everything. "Because my games are always so thrilling."

"I suggest that you close your mouth, Lucian." Enzo said firmly, clenching his jaw. "You don't know my aunt and you don't want to stay on her bad side."

Tasha's laugh echoed. It echoed through the empty space of the room.

"Oh, you flatter me, son." Tasha hummed, slowly moving her knife through her cheeks, not cutting her skin. "But he's right, you know. Unlike my brother-in-law, I'm not going to stand here and just look pretty for all of you. That's stupid as hell. I'd really like to see blood right now and I'm excited to spill one but since you're a father and your wife will probably be crying for your death do no. No, thank you. Noisy as hell. And well... We're not here to actually play so I'll try to stop myself."

Sydney chuckled. "Try. You'll try, huh?"

Tasha giggled, licking her knife slowly. Her eyes were looking down on him, a gleeful expression was obviously showing and she stopped playing with the knife. The way she was looking down at them just sends her into euphoria.

She doesn't see them as cockroach or some insect that Achilles usually see. No, it's something better.

When she looks down on them, she could feel the superiority. The feeling that just washes over her completely and all that she could think of was blood, the head, the limbs and oh, her favorite.

Their eyes.

Oh, the thrill when you snap their eyeballs out of its sockets is thrilling. So much blood, the softness and roundness of an eye is treasure for her.

She would get her toy's eyes because she just wants to. If she sees them as insects then where's the fun in that then?

Insects die so easily and she can't carve out their eyes.

But if she sees them as someone lower than her, someone who's got eyes large enough for her to collect then their screams are all lovely.

"Yeah, I'll try..." She sighed sadly. "Quite disappointed, really."

Gabriele scoffed. He doubt that.

Achilles just sighed quietly.

This will sure take a while.

"Get to the point then." Lucian said. "I don't have all day."

Foolish friend. Achilles thought when the smile on Tasha's face turned upside down. The aura surrounding her was not friendly nor was it inviting like before. She tilted her head to the side with a monotonous look plastered on her face. Eyes were wide with confusion, body shaking and was gripping her knife with burning anger and determination

Slowly, she strode towards Lucian. Heavy steps after the other, as if she was limping. The Cattaneo men was hoping to see Lucian alive. Nobody wants to anger Tasha.

After all, she was mad.

Nothing but mad.

Tasha grabbed Lucian's cheeks, muffling his surprise as a knife was held against his throat.

Another laugh echoed as she slowly sliced the skin of his neck. Blood was slowly trickling down as he tried to get out of her iron grip, struggling against the knife pressed on his neck.

Lucian faced the mad hatter.

And the mad hatter was laughing. Laughing madly.

But aren't we all mad?

"Are you that excited die, you good for nothing?"

Yeah, aren't we all mad?
