Eris:

Goddess of chaos and discord. Was the only goddess excluded from the wedding of Peleus and Thetis, the parents of Achilles, and when she was turned away, she threw a golden apple which read "to the fairest" amongst the assembled goddess. This kicked off a series of events which lead to the Trojan War.

Hera:

Daughter of Cronus and Rhea; goddess of marriage, family, women, and motherhood; wife/sister of Zeus and queen of the gods. The first of the three goddesses to claim the golden apple. She promised Paris, the prince of Troy who was selected to chose which goddess was the fairest, power and wealth if he gave the apple to her. Supported the Greeks during the Trojan War.

Athena:

Daughter of Zeus and Metis; goddess of wisdom and war. The second goddess who claimed the golden apple and offered Paris victory in battle in exchange for being chosen as the fairest. During the Trojan War, she fought on the side of the Greeks.

Aphrodite:

Goddess of love, beauty, and sexuality. Won the golden apple by promising Paris the most beautiful woman in the world: Helen of Sparta. She supported the Trojans during the Trojan War; Paris was particular favorite of her's.

Helen:

Daughter of Zeus/Tyndareus  and Leda; Princess and later queen of Sparta; wife of Menelaus. Aphrodite offered Helen, the most beautiful woman in the world, in exchange for awarding her the golden apple. But Helen was already married to Menelaus, the brother of Agamemnon of Mycenae. Helen either eloped or was abducted by Paris and her disappearance was the excuse the Greeks, headed by her husband Menelaus and brother in law Agamemnon,  needed in order to go to war with Troy.

Hermione:

Princess of Sparta, later queen of Mycenae; daughter of Helen and Menelaus. She was about nine years old when her mother left with Paris and her father went to war to win her back. Hermione grew up to marry Neoptolemus, son of Achilles, who she would leave for Orestes, son of Agamemnon and her true love. After the death of Agamemnon, Orestes became king of Mycenae making Hermione queen.

Artemis:

Daughter of Zeus and Leto; twin sister of Apollo; goddess of the moon, the hunt, chastity and virginity, and the wind. Artemis demanded the sacrifice of Agamemnon's virgin eldest daughter, Iphigenia, to insure favorable winds with which to sail to Troy.

Running with the Wolves- Aurora

Iphigenia:

Princess of Mycenae; eldest daughter of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra. Due to poor winds, the Greek fleet was unable to sail to Troy. Artemis demanded the sacrifice of a virgin, Agamemnon's daughter Iphigenia, in order to ensure favorable winds. Iphigenia was summoned under the pretext of being married off to Achilles and was killed by her father to appease Artemis. This turned Agamemnon's wife Clytemnestra against him.

Hecuba:

Queen of Troy; Wife of King Priam. Hecuba is the mother of nineteen children including Hector, Paris, and Cassandra. She was taken as a slave by Odysseus following the fall of Troy.

Chryseis:

Trojan woman; daughter of Chryses, priest of Apollo. Chryseis was taken by Agamemnon as a "war prize." Her father tried to ransom her back and was refused. Apollo sent a plague to punish the Greek army, prompting Agamemnon to return Chryseis to her father.

Briseis:

A Trojan woman taken as a war prize by Achilles. To compensate for the loss of his war prize, Chryseis, Agamemnon took Briseis from Achilles, offending Achilles and causing a feud between the two.

Cassandra:

Princess of Troy; daughter of Priam and Hecuba; prophetess and priestess of Apollo. Cassandra was cursed by Apollo with the gift of prophecy possibly after she refused his sexual advances. Part of the curse was that her predictions would always be ignored and disbelieved. She foresaw the fall of Troy. During the sack of Troy, she was raped by Ajax the Lesser in the temple of Athena; Athena later punished Ajax with death. Cassandra was then taken by Agamemnon as a concubine. Agamemnon and Cassandra were murdered by his wife Clytemnestra.

Andromache:

Princess of Troy; wife of Hector; Queen of Epirus. Andromache was the mother of Hector's son, Astyanax, who was killed by the Greeks during the sack of Troy. She was then taken as a concubine by Neoptolemus, son of Achilles. When Neoptolemus died, Andromache married her brother-in-law Helenus and became queen of Epirus.

Clytemnestra:

Queen of Mycenae; wife of Agamemnon; mother of Iphigenia, Electra, and Orestes. Following the sacrifice of her eldest daughter, Iphigenia, Clytemnestra takes Aegisthus as her lover and the two plot to kill Agamemnon and his concubine, Cassandra, upon their return from Troy. Her children Orestes and Electra avenge their father by killing Clytemnestra and Aegisthus.
