The Christmas season is here and our city right is now is being covered by the chilly but also beautiful blanket of snow. 

Ever year I've always looked forward to seeing the snow even though there are times where I dislike it due to storms or how low the temperature if you're not dressed up properly to warm your bodies.

Still, I adore this winter season and this is the only time I get to make snowmen, snow angels and heck, I even find time to make igloos and practicing ice skating at random frozen ponds in our local parks.

Anyway, this Christmas is going to be special because I was thinking of spending it with my explosive boyfriend, Bakugou.

I really wanted us to have at least a date on Christmas but there is a side of me thinking that he might turn me down since there was this one time I was asked him if we could hangout on the day of Christmas itself last year before we became a couple and our conversation went like this:

"Tch, not interested"

"E-Eh? But it's Christmas, Kaachan! You don't want to hang out with me and go out on the snow-"

"I said I'm not interested, you nerd! I am not in the Christmas spirit anyway!! I rather just stay at home and sleep"

"Stay at home and sleep? Aww man, I was really hoping if-"

*door closes*

"...darn, never mind. Maybe I'll just hangout with Izuku"

Just remembering it really does make me laugh and also sad at the same time cause' knowing how grumpy he is, I knew that was going to happen anyway.

But that doesn't stop me from trying so here I am right in front of his house with my outfit that fits the Christmas theme by wearing red and green outfits.

Who knows.

Maybe he'll give me a different answer?

I exhaled and prepared mentally of what's to come before I knocked on his front door.

I tapped my foot on the ground lightly while carrying a bag that contain his Christmas present and smiled.

After a few minutes, the door was finally opened and I finally get to see Bakugou except he's not wearing his casual clothes that he always wear at home but winter clothes instead.

I was surprised to see it for some reason and since I was staring at him without saying anything, he snapped me back at reality but poking one of my cheeks.

"Oi..."

I gasped and finally gained composure when I realized that he's really closing the gap between us and I can could almost feel his warm breath.

"O-Oh, Kaachan! Hehe, M-Merry Christmas!", I greeted him and laughed shyly.

He raised a brow and sighed before he gave me a small pat on the head.

"Yeah...Merry Christmas, you dummy", Bakugou said and blushed before looking away.

Wait.

Did he just...

He actually greeted me Merry Christmas after so long!

I am saying this right now since during our middle school days, he rarely greets someone during the Christmas season.

The last time he said it was when we were kids, where his heart and personality is still soft but also grumpy.

I was astonished that I can feel myself grinning and I didn't hesitate to kiss his cheek.

"O-Oi! W-Warn me next time if you're gonna kiss me and...hold on, you missed!", Bakugou said and growled.

I laughed at his behavior but gave him what I want by pressing his lips with mine before giving him a warm hug.

"How's this?", I asked and giggled.

He clicked his tongue with embarrassment and the blush from his cheeks brighten more.

"Y-Yeah. Much better...", Bakugou said and sighed, "Anyways, you came right on time and you're even dressed up too which is saving up the trouble".

I raised a brow and asked, "Eh, why?".

Bakugou was quiet for a moment but before I could say anything, he grabbed both of my hands and gave them a gentle squeeze.

"I was going to your house to ask you if...if we could g-go on a Christmas date", Bakugou said and looked away with his flushed face, "I was thinking that you might not plan to ask me to hangout because of what happened during our middle school days so I had to go there in time...before it's too late and stuff...".

My heart throbbed just hearing hearing his honest feelings that I ended up giving him another hug.

"AWW, Kaachan!", I replied and giggled, "I never thought you would do this for me~!".

"T-That because I love you too much, idiot!", Bakugou responded and clicked his tongue, "N-Now, let's go! You know what they say, the young is still young and no time should be damn wasted!".

With that, he closed his front door and grabbed my hand so both of us can head towards the city.

Seeing this side of Bakugou making effort just for me is making me grin from ear to ear.

TIME SKIP (Brought you by young Bakugou wearing a Christmas hat and crossing his arms - "B-Belated Merry Christmas, readers. I hope I still look badass with this hat, hmph!")

Moments passed ever since Bakugou and I finally went on our very first Christmas date and I gotta say, I was enjoying it.

The first thing we did was exploring in Christmas town which is the first thing that both of us saw while we were travelling.

We browsed through items, bought some small items that I might give for my other friends if ever I will see them and Bakugou was also checking out some fireworks that he might use for new year. 

After that, he suggested us to have a nice warm cup of hot cocoa to my favorite cafe which is odd since he wasn't interested in cafe dates, even though we've done this once.

But right now, he is more than willing to have a cafe date this Christmas and I gotta say, this is a Christmas miracle and he even looked cute while he's drinking his own cup that I had to sneak a photo.

Then once that's said and done, we decided to walk around in the park since he wanted to extend our date a bit, which I happily obliged.

We are just strolling and I noticed that there are a lot of people hanging out there since there are stalls stationed in different spots in the park.

We are passing through shops, kids running around the streets, families spending time in different spots in town and I even saw an old woman selling Christmas pumpkin pie.

The date was already perfect and I do have to agree on Bakugou.

It's like I don't want this date to ever end.

I looked at the sky that is displaying a lot of twinkling stars and intertwined my fingers with Bakugou's.

The blond boy noticed this and from my peripheral vision, I could see a small smile forming on his lips.

"So...are you enjoying the date?", Bakugou asked, not looking but gave my hand a squeeze.

I chuckled and nodded automatically before looking over to him.

"You bet! I'm so happy that I finally get to spend time with you in a special day like this", I replied.

He sighed in relief and looked back at me before replying, "Good. I mean...I still have a lot to learn when it comes to this dating thing but....mark my words, because my Christmas wish is to be the number one hero and the best boyfriend-W-WAIT, I MEAN-"

He blushed when he realized what he just said and ended up blushing bright red.

"C-Crap...why did I say it?!", he mumbled and looked away.

I blinked a few times from his change of behavior but I ended up smiling.

"Aww, you already decided what to wish for Christmas!", I replied and smiled.

"S-Shut up...!!", Bakugou retorted in an almost shy tone, "...then again, it's still true after all".

We stopped walking and I noticed that we under a big shady tree while the moon is giving us light that could enlighten the features of my boyfriend so I can see him.

"I'm sure you don't know this but...I actually had a Christmas wish last year as well", Bakugou said, "Ever since you left my house and hang out with that damn Deku, I...I actually regretted not accepting the opportunity so...back then, I silently wished that...I hope that I will be able to be with you...to become my girlfriend".

He gently squeezed my hand before facing forward so he can look at me straight in the eyes.

"I only wished back then because those damn feelings of mine just kept growing and if I hadn't rejected you for a simple Christmas hangout, I would have better chances whether you will accept me as your boyfriend or not", Bakugou said and sighed, "...that's why...when New Year came, I started being more nice to you than before. Hoping that you will accept me more".

"Kaachan...", I said and almost wore a worried expression after hearing his story.

He clicked his tongue and I could've sworn I saw a tears coming from his eyes that he looked away.

"Hey, are you-"

"N-No, I'm not crying! There's just something on my eye! Dammit...", Bakugou said and sniffed, "...why did I have to share this...agh, doesn't matter...".

He wiped his eyes and regained composure right away before looking straight at me.

"I'm sharing this because I wanted to know how much I love you, (Y/N)", Bakugou said and stroked my cheek, "I'm thankful to have you by your side so if something bothers you, you can tell me. If there are extras who are hurting you, tell me. I hope we continue being together like this until we...get marri-I mean, nothing".

"Hmm?", I hummed and tilted my head.

"I-It's nothing, you dummy! My tongue just slipped, tch", Bakugou said and looked away again.

I ended up chuckling from his confused demeanor and since I've been carrying my gift for him the whole time, I think this is will be the perfect moment. 

"Oh yeah! I got you this by the way!", I said and grinned, "It took me a while to make it so I hope you like it!".

He was wearing a shocked expression but he gladly took the gift from my hand and decided to open it right away.

His eyes lightened up when he brought out the handmade training bands and headband and a little crocheted keychain of me-wait a sec.

"O-Oh my gosh!! That wasn't suppose to be there!", I said as soon as I saw the crocheted keychain, which is actually an optional addition to his gift but I'm sure he wouldn't like it since he's not into that kind of stuff.

Geez, I had the feeling I accidentally knocked it over before sealing the gift because I was trying to get rid of a spider in my room.

I was slowly getting worried and before I could grab it from him, he started looking at the keychain.

I can feel second hand embarrassment building up inside me and before I could say anything else - 

"Too late, because I'll accept this too"

Eh?

EHH??

Am I hearing this correctly?

I decided to pinch my cheek and even tried to shake my head too.

Bakugou notices this and gave me a confused expression once more before he would catch my attention.

"Babe, you're hearing it damn right", Bakugou said and sighed, "You're not dreaming, you're not in fantasy land and you're not even hypnotized to be a drunkard like last time. What you are hearing is the truth".

"W-Wait, are you sure? Surely, you don't wanna accept a cute keychain like that and-"

"Well, it doesn't matter because I like it already, you dummy!", Bakugou said and blushed, "Why are you worried anyway?".

"U-Umm, haha. Because you don't like cute stuff? H-Haha", I said and laughed nervously, "I don't know why I made up my mind to make that but...I guess I just wanted to add a little something to have a memento of our relationship".

He was speechless and ended up looking at the keychain again.

"I see. I had a feeling you would give me something like this anytime soon", Bakugou said, "Although, I wasn't expecting this but then again...".

He leaned towards me and planted a kiss on my lips.

My eyes widened for a split second but I automatically kissed him back.

Our kiss made us warm and fuzzy inside and our exchange has gone for a few minutes which made me think that I wanted us to last forever.

Of course, we didn't want to lose our breaths from our flow kisses that we let go.

"...I'll still cherish this and this goes to show that you love me so thank you", Bakugou said and panted a bit, "That being said, I have something for you as well, babe".

He showed me a bag as well which I was late to notice the whole time since I was thinking it might a gift for his parents or something.

"T-That's for me? Huh, I never thought I would receive a Christmas gift from you", I replied and laughed.

He clicked his tongue and replied, "Y-Yeah, it's very rare of me to do this since I stopped giving you since middle school. You can open it now if you want".

I nodded with excitement building up that I didn't hesitate to open it.

When I did, it revealed to be a stuffed bear wearing a Santa outfit and it even came with a tag that says "To : (Y/N), From : Katsuki, your number one boyfriend".

I smiled from ear to ear seeing this cute stuffy that I automatically enveloped him with another warm embrace.

"This is soo cute! Thank you for this, Kaachan!", I said and giggled, "You sure do know my love for cute things, hehe".

"Tch, of course!", Bakugou said and shook his head lightly before showing me a small smile - which is rare, "This is to prove that my love for you is real".

I giggled and thus, we shared another kiss under the beautiful moonlight and shady tree while snow showered us with it's flakes.

"Merry Christmas, Kaachan~!"

"...same to you, babe. I love you"
