"Okay, hold on"

It's a typical Sunday afternoon and since my parents are busy right now, I'm in charge of grocery shopping duty for today.

Originally, I wanted to ask Bakugou if he can come with me here at the supermarket to ask him for help in carrying these groceries and at the same time, spend some quality time together but as expected, he's busy.

It's either he's working out or he's just not up for it.

Oh well.

Better luck next time I guess.

So in the end, I went alone and I might probably call Midoriya if he's free since I know he's not that busy during a Sunday.

I got my wallet out of my bag and tried get the specified amount I am about to pay for all these groceries.

Once I was able to get the money out, I doubled checked it if it's the right amount and with a nod, I gave it the cashier lady.

"Here you go~", I said and smiled at the cashier lady.

The cashier lady giggled and got the money from me before she put them all in the cash registrar machine.

"Thank you. My, receiving a smile from a lovely customer sure brightens my day, haha", the cashier lady replied and worked her magic by using the machine, "Do you have a boyfriend?".

"Yeah, I do", I said and chuckled, "I was suppose to invite him to help me with these but I guess he's not free right now".

"I'm sorry to hear that, dear. Maybe another opportunity will come again soon", the cashier said and smiled kindly at me, "Is he a kind young man? I'm sure he is, right?".

Well.

I don't know about the "kind" part.

Although, his way of showing kindness is different than the typical kindness you see in guys nowadays and I find it quite rare and interesting in a sense.

I only chuckled and I waited for her to give me the receipt.

"Here's the receipt", the cashier lady said and handed me the grocery bags, "Oh, looks like you had quite a  shopping spree here. Why so many?".

"Well, my mom is having her friends over our house", I replied, "Tomorrow is her birthday and she took the day off from her work so buying these ingredients ASAP would reduce the workload".

"I see, then if it's okay, we have a delivery service here-"

"N-No need! I am about to call a friend of mine to help me carry these", I interrupted and bowed, "Thank you for the offer though".

The cashier lady only smiled and just when I was about to contact Midoriya using my phone -

"Oi, no need for that too, you idiot"

That familiar grumpy voice made my heart raise and when I turned around, I saw Bakugou with his usual grumpy expression and he's wearing his simple casual clothes.

"K-Katsuki! W-Wha...how...-"

I stopped talking when he carried half of the groceries that I bought like it was nothing and looked at me.

"Let's go already", Bakugou said and sighed, "I...I still need to take you somewhere to eat, you dummy". 

What's this?

He actually came anyway and...he's going to treat me too?!

Is this what people call...a blessing in disguise?

I found myself smiling widely with amazement which left Bakugou raising a brow and snapped me out of it when he started tickling one of my sides with his free hand.

"HAHAHAHA! Hey, s-stop it! I-HAHAHA!!", I said and tried to fight it off which in return made him stop eventually.

He sighed deeply and took my hand with a bit of force.

"J-Just come on already! I can see incoming customers on the way here! We gotta go!", Bakugou said and pointed at the people approaching this way.

Oh yeah, he's right. 

We should definitely get going after all.

We finally managed to exit the supermarket and now, Bakugou took me to a nearby cafe where there's not much people.

Since there's not much people inside, we got the opportunity to take the couch next to the window to get ourselves comfortable.

We sat beside each other while the groceries are sitting at the opposite couch of our table.

We even got our orders settled right away so both of us can refresh ourselves and relax before both of us would head home with these loads of groceries.

"Thank you so much for this", I said and drank the cold vanilla shake that he ordered for me, "I...I thought you wouldn't come. What changed your mind all of a sudden, Katsuki?".

Bakugou went silent after hearing me speak and his cheeks began to turn a bit red.

"W-Well...I...I just happened to pass by. T-That's all", Bakugou retorted and huffed before drinking his mocha shake.

I raised a brow and my lips is already curling into a smile before getting closer to him.

"Passed by? Then how come your mind is set when you told me you'll treat me?", I asked and giggled.

"Grr..I...", Bakugou replied and looked the other way with a hint of embarrassment, "...I just...GAH, FINE! You win!".

He clicked his tongue and finally get to look at me with his now-red face.

"I...I kind of feel bad for not coming with you earlier, okay?! B-Besides, I finished what I was doing back at home with speed before I went there at the supermarket", Bakugou said and had another sip of his mocha shale, "...and umm...here...".

He brought out something from his pocket and revealed to be a cute calico cat hair pin in cute plastic package.

My eyes widened and he gave it to me while he wasn't looking at me.

"I-I happened to pass by at the marketplace earlier and when I saw this one, I thought of you", Bakugou murmured and clicked his tongue again, "...dammit, it was really embarrassing when I was trying to buy it but...".

He looked at me slightly and continued, "I had to. I really want to give you something to...make it up at least, you know? And...I haven't given you any damn gift from our dates right? So I hope you appreciate this, you dummy!! Hmph!".

I can feel myself smiling widely again and who knew I would see this side of Bakugou once again.

"Hey, your smile is really creeping me out-"

He stopped talking when I gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek before I snuggled against him.

"I'm surprised. I never though I would really see the day that you would actually do this, hehe", I said and looked at him, "Thank you so much for this too, Kaachan~! I'll really cherish this!".

"Y-You better, you dummy! And d-don't call me Kaachan! It's embarrassing!"

Without a warning, he put down his mocha shake started tickling my sides once again.

"H-H-H-HAHAHAHAHA!! O-Okay, I'll stop, K-Kaachan!"

"What's that? I heard you calling me that again, babe. More tickles for you then, ha ha!"

Oops.

With that being said, he tickled me more than before and he was even smirking but for some reason, his eyes had a hint of happiness and warmth.

"OKAY, OKAY! I-I'LL stop!! HAHAHA! Have m-m-mercy, Katsuki!", I laughed out and tried to fight it off.

He ended up laughing - a normal laugh to be specific - along with me which sounded like music to my ears since it's been a very long time since I heard him laugh like that.

Nowadays, I always hear him laugh in a mischievous way, especially during our middle school days.

But this...seeing this right here and now is making me happy.

He finally put a stop to his tickling and I am now finding myself catching my breath.

"...hah...hah...I thought you'll tickle me so we both exit the the supermarket earlier", I said and laughed once more before looking at him.

He huffed and I can feel him wrapping his arm around my waist so he can bring me closer to him and kiss my lips.

"That's because you're so silly, you dumb dumb. But...I can't believe I am saying this but... I like that about you. You know, just hearing you laugh", Bakugou said and gave me another kiss before he gently stroke my side with his fingertip, making me ticklish again.

"H-Hey! Hahaha!", I said and laughed before trying his arm.

"Oi, oi! You're not going anywhere!!", Bakugou said and hugged me completely before he snuggled against, "Or else I'll tickle you again, babe".
