Ken;good I'll be out when I get done here!
Ken said as the battle system shuts down making everyone's gauntlet cancel the battle and ejected their cards

Ken;Gigavolt let's go now
Ken said as the spire starts to shake violently...he know that if he stayed and fight he would not get out in time

Gigavolt;alright
Gigavolt said as he grabs Ken and flies down as fast as he could

As Gigavolt flies down he sees the legendary bakugan coming out of the spire and sees aqua getting closer to the ground

Gigavolt;there they are
Gigavolt said as the spire starts to explode

As Gigavolt lands he and aqua go into ball form as Ken met up with the others

Ken;are you guys alright
Ken asked

Aiden;yeah bro we're fine
Aiden said

Stacy;just had to beat up some bad people is all
Stacy said

Maria;where is Zane!?
Maria asked as Ken leads them to where Zane is at....Once they reach Zane they see dragonic kneeling in front of him

Dragonic notices them getting closer to Zane
Dragonic;hey stay awake Zane the others are here
Dragonic said

Maria gets to Zane's side
Maria;Zane honey your going to be okay we'll get you back to the ship alright Aiden help me carry him
Maria said as she and Aiden pick Zane up and heads back to base in a hurry

(3 hours later)

Once they got back to base they took Zane to the medical station...once they got Zane into the medical station they removed what was left of his armor and put him in a healing

After that everyone went to rest except for Maria who was sitting next to Zane's pod.....Maria looks at Zane through the glass as the sound of a heart monitor can be heard in the background

Maria;please be okay please!
Maria said as a tear goes down her face

As she cries she felt something touch the glass....she looks up to see Zane's hand reaching out for her's than she looks up to see one of his eyes half open

Maria wipes the tears off her face
Maria;you idiot taking a attack like that what were you thinking
Maria said as she looks at him

Zane looks at her as to reassure her that it was okay and that everything will be fine

Dragonic was in his ball form floating around Maria
Dragonic;he took the hit for Ken because they we're friends and he won't let anyone close to him get hurt
Dragonic said

Maria;of course he always does things for others before himself even if it means him getting hurt
Maria said as she continues to sit next to Zane's pod

(The next day)

Maria was in the meeting room with Ken,Aiden and Stacy  to discuss what they're going to do now

Ken;we did our job right the vexo's are gone and we freed bakugan

Stacy;yeah and we kicked their sorry buts

Aiden;yes but for how long for all we know they could come back some of cities aren't that far from the planet plus with the mechanical bakugan they have they can just make them stronger

Maria;for now let's head to one of the cities and refuel and resupply

Everyone turns to the door to see Zane in a new outfit

Zane;na the machine said supposed to get out tomorrow

(4 hours later)

Once we got to one of the city's docking station we got ready to resupply

Ken;we'll gather info on the vexos castle's whereabouts
Ken said as he and Aiden get ready
