He was both excited and nervous. He looked at the clock on the wall. He wanted time to pass quickly. He couldn't focus on his work anymore. His mind was filled with her. Time passed as he wanted it to. When the clock struck, he who usually immersed himself in work so much that there were jokes about him being married to his job but now he bolted himself up from his seat put on his coat and rushed out of the office and into his corolla. He once again opened her chat and looked at it.

It was 30 minutes earlier but it didn't matter to him. He wanted to see her. He wanted to see her as quickly as possible. He wanted to see her smile that he missed so much. He was embarrassed at the smile that formed in his face by just the mere thought of her.

He drove his corolla, he got irritated at heavy traffic he got irritated at the rain he got irritated at anything that delayed their meeting. He wanted to see her. He wanted to hug her in his embrace and never let her go. But along with her arrival, he was also confused and hopeful.

He looked up at the sky with anticipation. Anytime now. She will come anytime now. He who was usually impatient was now waiting for like a dog waiting for his master.

He got up from his seat. And stared at the arrivals. The passer-byes annoyed him. The attention he received annoyed him. He just wanted her in his hands.

"KEVIN!" She called out to him. Her voice was melody in his ears.

I thought I would never see you again.

Kevin smiled at her words and pulled her in for a hug. Deep inside a part of him was uneasy but it all subsidedface, she was in his arms. He patted her gently. He knew very well how much she was afraid of flying. He admired her strength. It was that strength that attracted him.

How was your flight?. He was happy to see her. He was happy to see her smiling face, but it also hurt him.

He really wished it. Kevin Barker, he had everything let it be wealth, looks, intelligence. Everything went his way. He had everything except her affection. He regretted his decision a year ago. He knew he was better for her. The look in her eyes hurt him. That smile on her lips was his once, but it no longer is. The thought hurt him.

He loved everything about her. Her full lips, her brown eyes, her chestnut hair. He loved her curious gaze; he loved her serious side. He loved everything there was to love about her. He even loved the way she played with her hair when she was nervous; He loved the way she blushed when she was embarrassed. He loves her with all his heart.

These feelings should be buried deep inside my heart. She was no longer his to claim.
