She immersed herself in the pile of documents towering high on her desk. She inspected the document in her hand resting her chin in her other palm, her elbows resting on her desk. She had no time to think about her life's problems let alone think about Danny's infidelity.

Knock.

Hearing someone, knock on the office door she looked up from the documents.

The door slowly opened and Jane came into her view "May I come in". She asked her voice full of respect for Abbie.

Does she have multiple personalities?

"Come in."

Jane entered the office.

"Ma'am you have a meeting to attend",

"Do I have an option?"

"No."

"I really don't want to."

Janes brows neared and became a slight frown but quickly she was full of smiles. chills ran through Abbie's spine, hair behind her neck stood up, goosebumps appeared upon seeing jane smile. This was a rare sight. She smiled like an angel but for some reason, she saw TWO horns and a tale grow out from jane instead of a halo

"Mam I got the information you wanted." She said as she pulled out a thick document from the pile of files she carried.

I didn't finish my paperwork so why is she offering to give the information? There's something fishy about it

Abbie stretched out her hand. "Hand it over".

"I will if you attend the meeting."

I knew it!.

Abbie slammed the table, of course only in her mind.

"I will I will."

Abbie threw her hands in the air. She surrendered before she might see the devil herself

"When is the meeting?"

"Within minutes" jane replied.

"Okay, I will attend. Now hand it over."

Jane handed over the thick document. Abbie glanced through it.

What's with this thickness?

"There's everything about her lovers," Jane said as if she read her mind

There were several profiles arranged in them for some reason it seemed like applications for a marriage candidate. Even their hobbies and favourite food are listed here. And even what they see in a bride.

"Where did you gather all this from?"

"I have my sources."

"Sources huh? They are pretty good at their work."

Abbie flipped through the pages.

"Mr Blair dated her the longest. Why did they break up then?"

"She cheated on him"

Cheater x cheater. Danny and Kim, they really are a match made in heaven. He deserves her.

"Why do you need all this?".Jane asked eyeing Abbiee suspiciously

Abbie looked up from the documents and locked eyes with Jane.

"You already know that don't you?" A bitter smile crept on Abbie's face.

"Book an appointment with him."

"I have already arranged, madam."

And now she can read minds too?
