Shabhana's POV

"Doctor ko bulao (Call the doctor)" I told Sahila as I watched Nazneen open her eyes, Ishaan kneeled down near her bed.

"Hey Naaz.........."

She blinked a few times before she looked at him she lifted her hand and touched the bandage on his head.

"Tum teek ho na? (You are okay right?)" She asked.

"Paagal ho tum ithne time baat tumeh aanke kholi hai tum mujse pooch rahi ho ki main teek hoo ya nehi?(are you crazy you are the one who opened her eyes after a long time but you are asking me if I am ok?)"

Ishaan said hugging her.

"Shabhana baahar wait karthe hai chalo (Shabhana let's wait outside come)"

Sahil said as he came back with the doctor. And both of us stepped outside.

"Isse questioning karne se pehele kithne der wait karna padega? (How long should we wait before questioning her?)" I asked.

"Thodi der toh wait karna hi padega (We should wait a little while)"

That's when my phone started to ring.

"Hello Mrs. Shabhana"

"Julie"

"Areh waah bohot jaldi pehachana aapne (Oh wow you identified me really quick)"

I put the phone speaker.

"Tumeh kya lagtha hai main tumeh doond nehi paaongi (What do you think I can't find you)"

"Nehi mujeh lagtha hai ki tum mujen doondne ki koshish hi nehi karogi (No I think you won't even try to find me)"

"Paagal hogayi hai kya main aisa kyu karoongi (have you gone crazy why will I do that?)"

"Aaj kal traffic bohot zyaada ho gaya hai na aur aapki husband toh roz kud gaadi chalakar office jaathe hai aur toh aur jail main toh roz koi na koi maarthe hi rehetha hai (these days traffic have increased a lot and your husband drives alone to his office every day moreover people keep on dying inside the jail every day)"

I saw Sahil's face go pale as my own heart stopped beating for a second.

"Saali kamini, damki de rahi hai kya mujeh? (Fucking bitch, are you threatening me?)"

"Jab tum donon ki naak ki neeche ithne saari murder kar hi liye hai toh do aur karne se kya ho jaayega, Bohot shaauk tha na tum dono ko pyaar karne ki abb buktho aur haa agar apni pyaar ko zinda dekhna caahthe ho toh mera peecha karna chod do (When I have killed so many people right under your nose so I could easily kill two more, you guys really loved to fall in love right now face the consequence and if you want to see the love of your life alive then stop running behind me)"

She said and cut the call.

"Sahil yeh haat se nikala jaa raha hai agar Karan ko kuch ho gaya tho............(Sahil this is getting out of hand if anything happen to Karan then..........)"

"It's time to break some rules Shanbhana"  Sahil said.

Sahil's POV

"So you are telling me, ki baahar ek aisi serial killer ghoom rahi hai jo meri wife ko maarna caahthi hai (So you are telling me, there is a serial killed out there who wants to kill my wife?)"

Karthik asked as Kavya looked at us confused as Ishaan sat there quietly.

"Exactly" I said.

"Tabh toh tum logogn ko humeh protection deni caahiye (then you guys should be giving us protection)"

"Hum de sakthe hai lekin uski baat kya? Woh jaakar kisi aur ko maaregi (We can give it but after that she will go and kill someone else)" Shabhana said.

"Toh? Yeh toh police ki problem hai (So? That's the problem of the police)"

"Ha lekin humeh agar Kavya ki todi help mil jaatha toh kisiki jaan bach sakthi hai (yes but if we get some help from Kavya we could save someone's life)" Shabhana said.

"Aap kehene kya caahthi hai apke criminal ko pakadne ke liye hum Kavya ki jaan kathare main daal de? (What are you saying to catch your criminal you want put Kavya's life in danger?)" Karthik asked getting angry at this point.

"I know it's too much to ask........" Shabhana began.

"Aap apna time waste mat kijiye it's not happening (Don't waste your time it's not happening)"

"Hum Kavya ko train karenge aur hum 24 to 7 uspe nazar bhi rakenge kuch nehi hoga usse hamara vaada hai (We will train Kavya and keep an eye on her 24 to 7 nothing will happen to her we promise) I said.

"Forget it it's not happening"

"Kavya ek ladki hospital main hai, ek hamare aakon ke samne maari hai, iske alwaa aur do bhi hai aur naa jane kithne aur hai humeh damki de kar gayi hai woh hum toh force nehi kar sakthe sirf request kar sakthe hai(Kaya a girl is in the hospital, one died in front of us except this there are also two others and we don't know how many more she have threatened us we can't force you we can only request)" Shabhana said.

"Shabhana madam jaane do na inki jaan kathare main daalkar humeh apni jaan nehi bachani hai (let it go Shabaana mam we don't want to save our life by putting their life in danger) Ishaan said.

"Chalo Kavya (Come on Kavya)" Karthik said as they stood up and left.

Kavya's POV

"Aap caahthe hai toh hum kuch tests kar sakthe hai (If you want we can do some tests)"

"Nehi doctor, mujeh abhi bhi yeh sabb jald baasi lag rahi hai woh mummy ji ne kaha toh aa gayi (No doctor, I still think all this is a bit early mummy said so I came to meet you)"

"Are test karwane main kya jaatha hai aapka baby jaldi ho jaayega (Are what is wrong in taking a test you will get your baby soon)"

I didn't know what to say.

"Aap sochkar mujeh bathayega teek hai (you think about this and tell me okay)"

"Ji doctor (Okay doctor)"

I said and rushed out off her office while walking out I saw the same guy I saw at the police station going inside one of the rooms, I slowly walked towards the door and peeped inside to see a beautiful girl sitting on the bed.

"Doctor ne kya kaha? (What did the doctor say?)"

"Doctor ne kaha tum abhi bhi todi weak ho lekin Shabhana ki kehene peh aaj discharge mil gaya hum zeede uss address par jaayega jo Shabhana ne beja hai (Doctor said you are still a bit weak but due to Shabhana you will get discharged today and we will go straight to the address Shabhana said)"

He said sitting down next to her.

"Sabb teek ho jaayega (Everything will be okay)" She said.

Feeling extremely guilty about what happened yesterday I stepped inside.

"Hi I am Kavya...." I said stepping in.

"Oh hi, Naaz yeh Kavya maine bathaya than a (Oh hi, Naz this is Kavya I told you right)" he said getting up.

"Oh hi I am Nazneen and that's Ishaan" The girl said.

"I am Sorry Kal mere husband tode gussa ho gaye the (I am sorry my husband got a bit angry yesterday)"

"Actually humeh aapse sorry bolni caahiye hamare vajah se aap inn sabb main phass gayi (Actually we should say sorry to you because you got stuck in all this because of us)" Naaz said.

"Are galthi toh uss murdere ki hai (The murderer is at fault here)" I said.

"Who behan hai meri (She is my Sister)"

Naaz said shocking me to the core. I stood there confused what to say next when we heard the door open and Ayan came inside we looked at each other confused and shocked.

"Ayaan" Nazneen called. He smiled as he went forward to give her a hug.

"Kaise hai tu? (How are you?)"

"Zinda hoo abhi ke liye yahi bohot hai (I alive this is more than enough for now)" She said with a smile.

"Main khaana lekar aaya tha warna yeh poora din yahi peh bhooka beta rehetha (I brought food or else he would sit here hungry all day)" He said looking at Ishaan as Nazneen glared at him angrily.

"Mann kartha hai ek tappad maroo tujeh (I feel like slapping you)" Naaz said.

"Main parishaan tha yar (I was worried yar)"

"Tumhari pareshan hone se main teek ho jaaongi?(will I be okay because you get worried?)"

"Suno main calthi hoo (listen I am leaving)" I said and walked outside.

"Kavya" I heard Ayan's voice from behind. I turned to look at him as he walked towards me and stood close to me I clutched the edge of my salwar due to the anxiety.

"Woh Shabhana se baat hui thi meri, I am sorry ki mere vajah se tum inn sabb main fassi, tum figar mat karo sabb teek ho jaayega tum baas....dyaan rakhan apna (I talked to Shabhana, I am sorry you got stuck in all this because of me, you don't worry everything will be okay you just......take care of yourself)"

He said but my attention was on how he struggled to make eye contact with me and don't know why I bought my hand close to his face but stopped it inches away from his cheeks and pulled it back immediately as I turned around and walked away.

I sat in my room and thought about my encounter with Ayan today even after all this time he has so much effect on me why can't I just get over him. As I thought all this Karthik entered the room, I hardly acknowledged his presence as he sat next to me and sank his face near my neck.

"Mujeh Shabhana ki help karna hai (I want to help Shabhana)" I said.

"Kya bawaas kar rahi ho, tum aisa kuch nehi karogi (What rubbish are you talking about you won't do anything like that)" Karthik said.

"Pooch nehi rahi hoo, batha rahi hoo (I am not asking you, I am telling you)"

"Mujeh jo kehena tha keh diya baki tumhari life hai jo bhi karna hai karo (I told you what I wanted to say now it's your life do whatever you wanna do)"

Kabir said as he stood up and left the room as tears rolled down my cheeks.

Soon Shabhana moved me and Ayan along with Nazneen and Ishaan into a house in a deserted area, and there began my training as Shabhana and Sahil ran around the city looking for Julie with Nazneen also with the knowledge there were more victims out there their search continued, there was still a kind of awkwardness between me and Ayan, Ishaan tried to cheer Nazneen up every now and then but all she could do was pretend to be happy as she was terrified inside not only her everyone was including the fierce Shabhana who was terrified by the thought of loosing one more person she loves, me on the other hand felt nothing.
