"I loved someone maa. And he wanted to see me achieve this. I did it for him. So he would be proud of me like I am of him."   Naina whispered still in her mother's embrace.

That dropped as a bomb for Rajveer. A nuclear one perhaps. Which destroyed all his suspicion and cleared the smoke of his brain. Filling it with guilt and self depreciating thoughts. How could you do this Rajveer. He thought to himself. She took extreme measures for him, achieved this and look where you got her.

He dropped on his knees in front of her, and looked with moist guilty eyes. "Naina" his broken voice called for the cure to his shredded heart.

"I am sorry" was all he could utter

"Mujhe maaf karr do Naina, mujhe nahi pataa tha ki tum-" before he could say something ahead Naina wailed out loudly and hugged her mother even more before crying her heart out.

"Naina! Rajveer" her parents uttered.

"Rajveer" her father called out again, joining the dots. With a heavy heart Rajveer looked upto them, and seeing their state he couldn't help but feel even more guilty. Of hurting his love.

Her parents looked at each other, helpless and angry seeing their daughter’s condition.

Clearing his eyes he rushed to him room and messingly started looking through his files. Naina mustve had some motive for her actions. He thought.

While looking through he even found the draft question paper which was thought to be 'misplaced'.

And there he found it. A neatly decorated envelope with tiny heart all over. Half blue and half red. Like they had made. Together.

Opening the letter, he read how Naina tried writing all her emotions into words. Telling him how blessed she was to find him. How special she felt when with him. And how she trusts him blindly. He broke her trust. He cried out on his knees clutching the letter to his heart. Trying to repent for his mistake. Of suspecting her. Hurting her. Breaking her.

He was disturbed with the knock at his door. Opening he found an orderly telling him that Brig. wanted his presence while Naina wrote the exam. He needed to stop her. She can't be paying for his mistakes. He rushed to the Brig's cabin.

"Naina will not write the exam sir" he said as soon as he reached the door.

"And why that Capt." Brig. asked

"I mistook her efforts sir. I understood my mistake. She'll not pay for something she didn't do" he tried to let the words out.

"I will write the exam sir" Naina said with a no emotion face.

"Please Naina you don't have to do it" he  begged.

Without saying anything to him, Naina took the pen and started with the paper. Rajveer couldn't do anything but to stand there as a silent spectator. See Naina pay the price for his mistake.

Once Naina had finished the paper, Rajveer was asked to check it. With a heavy heart he started checking the paper. And this time she had scored even more.

"She got 98" Brig. uncomfortably informs her parents as he passed them her answer sheets.

They accusingly looks at him.

"This mark will be recorded for her." Brig. Informs them

"It's clear Brig. that my daughter didnt do anything wrong." Her father said with pride and accusation evident in his voice. Ms. Lolita arrived with Nainas answer sheets for other subject exams as well. She had scored above 80 on hundred in each, but she got a full 98 in strategy and communication, a rise in all that she usually got.

"We are sorry for the trouble caused. You may resume your classes Cadet Singh" brig. Said.

"I will not. I am leaving KMA. I came here to prove my brother's innocence but I didn't know I'd have to prove mine as well" Naina said being tired of all she suffered.

"Please Naina, don't do this. Please" Rajveer requested again.

"I am sorry Sir. I believed someone to much" Naina said before getting up to pack her bags.

"And I hope Capt. Rajveer, you'll trust that someone from next time" Nainas mother said.

"I can't see my child in pain again. Sorry Brig. but she will not continue now"
