"Where's your car?" Jimin asked when he saw Taehyung coming out of a cab in front of their company building.
Taehyung just smiled as he ran towards the smaller male. He linked his arm on the other as they made their way inside the building.
"I don't feel like driving today." Taehyung simply answered.
Jimin shakes his head at the response. "How's everything going with Mr. CEO?" He whispered, wriggling his brows as a naughty smile appeared on his lips.
Taehyung chuckled, putting on a facade as they stopped in front of the elevator.
"Good." He responded, not looking at his friend because he's afraid that Jimin will see right through his lie.
Jimin just stared at him for a long while and smiled. "That's good to know."
The elevator opened and the two of them went inside. Taehyung immediately changed the subject.
"How are you and the sports car guy?" Taehyung asked back with the same naughty smile Jimin had seconds ago.
The latter rolled his eyes. "Don't even ask about him." He pouted, making Taehyung scoff.
"Why? Tell me.." He insisted which made Jimin pout even more.
"He has contacted me twice regarding the payment and all but that's it." Jimin answered to which Taehyung just grinned.
"Why do you sound disappointed, my friend?" He teased, nudging the latter's side.
Jimin just rolled his eyes as the elevator came to a stop.
"Bye, bitch. See you later at lunch." Jimin went out in a rush, clearly avoiding the topic.
The sound of Taehyung's laughter was the last thing he heard before the elevator closes once more.

The ravenette had his eyes on the papers he was reading for a while now regarding their previous project, but something isn't adding up.
He sighed in annoyance, searching for the supporting documents in the pile of papers he has on top of his desk.
"Fuck." He murmured, not finding what he's looking for.
"Secretary Kim, ask Mr. Yoo to come here." He ordered, too immense on studying the data on the sheet.
He circled the questionable digits on the paper, brows already in one line as he called out once more.
"Taehyung." He repeated, lifting his head only to realize he's alone in the office.
For a moment, he just stared at the empty space where the brunet's table used to be.
Jungkook groaned, dropping the papers on the table in annoyance as he leaned on his seat. He massaged his temple as he tried to concentrate.
Calling out for Taehyung when he needs something has already been a habit.
It'll take a long time for him to adjust but that's better than having Taehyung inside the room with him.
Looking at him is torture. Breathing the same air with him is suicide.
He sighed, pressing the intercom and with an annoyed voice said, "Secretary Kim, send Mr. Yoo in."
"Yes, Sir. I-"
Jungkook didn't let the other finish as he went back to his work.
Outside the CEO's office, the brunet sighed as he stared at the intercom. He brushed off the feeling of sadness as he called for Mr. Yoo who came running in a speed of light.
"What does he want?" Mr. Yoo asked in a nervous tone.
Taehyung just smiled. "I don't have any idea." He pressed the intercom to announce the arrival of the latter.
"Mr. Jeon, Mr. Yoo is already here. Should I send him in now?" He asked in a formal tone.
"Okay." Jungkook plainly responded.
Taehyung turned his attention to the older male. "Mr. Jeon would like to see you now."
The brunet could see the anxiousness in the man's face as he went inside the CEO's office.
He shakes his head, knowing fully well that the man might come out later, looking even more stressed than he already is now.
Taehyung went back to his work. From time to time, he couldn't help but gaze at the closed door, curious to know what's going on inside.
He was in this state when he heard footsteps coming from the hallway, getting louder by the second.
Taehyung turned to look, his curious face turned into a frown, seeing the person now standing near his cubicle.
"What do we have here?" Lisa said in her usual irritating voice that had Taehyung arching his brows.
"You're finally back to your proper place." She added, raking her eyes up and down Taehyung's physique in a very insulting way.
"What brings you here, Ms. Manoban?" Taehyung asked in a professional tone.
The woman just laughed mockingly. "What do you think? I came here to visit my Kookoo." She proudly announced, making Taehyung roll his eyes.
It's not even a week since their break up, and Lisa is already taking action, ramping her way in the office and claiming Jungkook as hers.
Wow. Fucking great!
"He's in the middle of a discussion right now. He doesn't have a time to spare for some... distractions." Taehyung did the same, raking his belittling eyes up and down the woman's physique.
He remained on his seat, arching his brows as he spoke, "And since when did he become yours? The last time I check, he's not interested in you even in the slightest bit." Taehyung retorted back in a challenging tone.
Lisa just smiled sweetly at him. "Think whatever you want to think." She leaned forward, levelling her face to Taehyung's own.
"He's mine from the start." Lisa whispered which made Taehyung grit his teeth.
"I knew this time would come when he'll come running back to my arms after having some fun with a trash like you." She added in a mocking tone as she stared at him in the eyes.
"You made it too easy for me, secretary Kim. Who would have thought you'd turn out to be the son of the woman he hated the most?" the laugh that came out of her lips made Taehyung's blood boil.
Jungkook told her everything? Just like that?
He looked at her with eyes burning with rage. He was about to say something when the door to the office opened, revealing Mr. Yoo with a very tired expression on his face.
"Oh. I guess that's my cue to see my Kookoo." Lisa beamed as she made her way inside the CEO's office, leaving Taehyung fuming.
"Kookoo~" Lisa deliberately let Taehyung hear her flirty voice right before the door closes.
She smirked upon seeing Jungkook lift his head to her direction at the sound of her voice.
"You're always too busy when I visit you." She pouted as she went on his side.
"What are you doing here, Lisa?" Jungkook asked, not taking his attention away from the documents he's studying.
Lisa just shrugged her shoulders. "I'm here to cheer you up. I know you badly need it right now."
She leaned forward, lips brushing against Jungkook's ear.
"I'm here to comfort you, Kookoo." Lisa uttered in a low sexy voice.
Jungkook placed down the papers on the table as he turned his attention on the woman beside him.
"How did you know I need comforting at the moment?" He asked in a deep voice, eyes intensely looking at Lisa who smiled sweetly.
"Rumors.." She shrugged her shoulders, leaning impossibly close to the ravenette who didn't move away.
"If you just only listened to me. I told you that Kim Taehyung is nothing but trouble." Lisa seductively looked at the ravenette.
She gasped when Jungkook pulled her close until she's sitting on his lap, eyes wide and excited as the ravenette leaned his face close to hers, arms wrapped around her waist.
"You're right.. He's nothing but trouble." Jungkook whispered, eyes too intense that Lisa thought she'll drown.
She bit her lower lip as she caressed Jungkook's face.
"I told you. You'll come running back in my arms." Lisa looked at the ravenette with lust.
She shivered in anticipation when Jungkook brushed his lips on her jaw, trailing to her right ear.
A moan escaped from her lips in too much excitement, feeling Jungkook's hot breath on her skin.
"Don't get ahead of yourself. I'll never be yours even in my grave."
Lisa's eyes turned wide when Jungkook pushed her off his lap in a harsh manner, her body falling on the floor with a loud thud.
She felt her anger rise as she glared at the ravenette who's looking at her with a look of disgust in his eyes.
"How dare you?!" She bellowed, embarrassed and angry at the same time.
Jungkook just arched his brows as he smirked at her.
"I may have broken up with Taehyung but that doesn't mean I'll come running to your arms." He remarked, seeing Lisa's face turn deadlier.
"Have some self respect, Lisa. I don't see you as a woman. You're a friend and that's all there is between us." Jungkook said now in a soft voice.
Lisa looked at him with pain in her face. Her lips quivered as she abruptly stood on her feet.
"I won't accept that bullshit! You're mine Jungkook! Just one word from my father and I'll have you whether you like it or not!" Lisa threatened which made Jungkook sigh.
Her words weren't just an empty threat. Lisa's family is as influential as Jungkook's own. Her father is a business partner of Jungkook's father and their relationship runs deep.
"Do whatever you want.. but just the same, you might get your way and force me to be with you but no matter how hard you try... you'll never have my heart." Jungkook firmly stated to which Lisa just laughed.
"I don't care. As long as I could make sure no one could have you but me." She said as she turned on her heels aiming to walk out.
However, as she stopped by the door, she composed herself and plastered a smile on her lips, discreetly opening a couple buttons on her shirt and smudging her lipstick a little with the back of her hand.
Lisa went out of the room and the first thing she saw was Taehyung, standing in front of his cubicle, his back facing her.
She smiled as she went near him, deliberately brushing her arm on the brunet's back in a harsh manner.
She heard him snicker which made her smirk.
"Oops, sorry." She batted her eyes, sweetly smiling at the brunet.
She noticed how Taehyung looked at her, scrutinizing her appearance with a frown on his face.
His eyes travelled to her smudged lipstick, her dishevelled shirt and the glint of happiness in her eyes.
"I didn't know you're there." She innocently said. Her eyes scanned Taehyung's cubicle, seeing a small mirror next to his bag.
She picked it up, not minding Taehyung's frown.
"Oh my. I looked so.. indecent." She giggled, wiping off the lipstick stains on the side of her lips.
"Jungkook could really be intense sometimes, right?" She meaningfully said, making Taehyung's eyes grow wide.
He felt his heart clench, realizing what might have happened between the two inside the room from the appearance of Lisa.
Taehyung couldn't stop himself from imagining this woman in Jungkook's arms which made him beyond angry.
"Anyways, I'll be leaving now." She placed the mirror on top of his desk, but deliberately knocked it with her hand, letting the mirror fall on the floor as it shattered into pieces.
She faked a gasp as she looked at the brunet with apologizing eyes.
"Oops.. Sorry. I'll have it replaced, don't worry." She leaned forward, smiling sweetly at Taehyung.
"That's how it should be, right? Things considered as trash should be replaced with something new... something better." Lisa smirked, mockingly looking at Taehyung for the last time before turning around.
"Please clean that up.. it's no longer useful like the owner."
Taehyung, who was holding on for the last piece of patience he had, found himself drowning in too much rage.
His anger took over all reasons as he ran after the woman, too late to even think of the consequences of his actions.
