Forty Six
"Are you excited for tomorrow?" Jimin asked as the three of them settled on top of Jin's bed.
The older smiled brightly, his eyes were shining from excitement and pure joy as he nodded his head.
"I still feel like I'm dreaming." Jin uttered in a dreamy voice that had Taehyung and Jimin squealing.
"You're getting married tomorrow!" The two said in unison as they giddily stood and jumped on the bed, dragging Jin with them.
They held hands, forming a circle like how little children would as they excitedly jumped and laughed like they haven't done for a long while.
"Why am I feeling excited too?" Jimin asked, huffing for air from too much jumping.
"Me too!" Taehyung agreed, a bit short out of breath.
They would've continued to jump around like little kids if only Jin didn't protest.
"Oh fuck let's stop. I feel like my head's spinning already." Jin said as the three of them finally came into a halt.
They giggled, letting their bodies fall on the bed. Jimin's head rested on Jin's stomach while Taehyung rested his head on Jimin's.
They comfortably stared at the ceiling, still catching their breath.
"I don't know why I'm feeling too giddy as if I'm the one who'll get married tomorrow." Jimin murmured after a while.
"Me too. I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight." Taehyung responded in barely a whisper.
This made Jin chuckle, his heart swelling from too much happiness.
"What did I do to deserve the two of you?" He asked in a soft voice that showed how grateful he is to have the two in his life.
"Maybe you saved a country in your previous life." Jimin answered with a goofy grin on his face.
"Or maybe you had found a cure for a virus or something that had healed a lot of people." Taehyung added with the same naughty grin on his face.
Jin couldn't contain his laugh, the sound of his voice filled the room which made the two genuinely smile.
"Maybe I really did something great." Jin said in a playful tone.
"I think we all did." Taehyung whispered.
"You're not the only one who's lucky. I don't know what could've happened to me without the two of you." He added in a low voice.
The three of them became quiet, thinking of how true Taehyung's words are.
They're all fortunate to have found one another.
Taehyung felt Jimin's hand caressing his hair. He loved the feeling which calmed him even more.
"Why are we too emotional? It's not like Jin's wedding will be the end of our friendship." Jimin chuckled.
"I know right? Let's stop before we end up with ugly tears." Jin said that made the two giggle.
"We better sleep already. We can't be looking like zombies for Jin's big day tomorrow." Jimin suggested which everyone agreed.
They stood out of bed as Jin and Jimin tried fixing the bed covers.
"I'll just make a short call." Taehyung excused himself. He made his way to the door, only to stop when he remembered something.
"Right side of the bed is mine. Don't occupy my space, Jimin." He warned but Jimin just poked his tongue out to him.
The brunet made his way to the balcony, overlooking the serene night sky. The cool breeze brushed his face, making him smile in contentment.
He fished out his phone and dialed the number of his co worker, Brian, who took charge of his job while he's away.
He got an email from him, asking a lot of things which made him do the call to explain everything clearly.
The call took a long while and Taehyung lost track of the time. He also had to make a call to the caretaker of his house, checking up if everything is alright while he's away.
He was too engrossed in the call that he didn't notice Jimin coming to his side.
"Still on the phone?" Jimin asked in a whisper that made Taehyung jump from shock.
"Shit, you surprised me." Taehyung said as he held to his chest.
Jimin grimaced and smiled apologetically. He mouthed "Sorry" as Taehyung went back to his call.
"Yes. I'll call you again. If something comes up, let me know." He finished, ending the call.
"I thought you slept already." Taehyung asked as he faced Jimin.
The other just shrugged his shoulders. "Can't sleep." He answered as he looked at the starry night sky.
"Why? Something bothering you?" Taehyung asked in a concerned voice.
"Nothing. I'm just feeling too excited, I guess." Jimin answered which made Taehyung smile.
"Same." Taehyung agreed as he stared at the sky as well.
The two of them became silent as Jimin breathed in, eyes darting to Taehyung as he looked at him intently.
"Tomorrow, you'll see him again." Jimin said in a serious voice that made Taehyung stop.
He looked down on his hands, smile leaving his lips instantly.
"Yeah. It's inevitable." He answered as a matter of fact.
"Are you really okay with it?" Jimin asked, concern laced in his voice.
Taehyung thought hard, searching in his heart and mind if he's really okay with it.
He sighed, nodding his head after a while.
"I think I am." Taehyung said.
"You think?" Jimin asked, not convinced.
"Yeah. For the past years, I haven't heard anything about him, all thanks to you guys." Taehyung whispered.
"When I told you not to tell me anything about him, you really didn't. You all helped me move on." He added in a grateful voice.
"Now, I think I'll be okay if I see him again." Taehyung reassured as he looked at Jimin.
The other silently stared at him. He sighed, a deep one.
"You really don't want to know what happened to him when you left?" Jimin asked in a low voice.
Taehyung shrugged his shoulders. "Nah. It's better this way. He lived his own life, I lived mine. We're nothing but acquaintances now."
Jimin sighed once more as he looked at Taehyung in the eyes.
"Okay, but just a heads up -"
"Yah! Why are the two of you murmuring there in the dark?" Jin's voice erupted, making the two of them flinch.
"I couldn't sleep waiting for the two of you." He pouted, making them laugh.
"Sorry. We got caught up with the nice view." Taehyung grinned.
"Let's go to bed. I'll look like shit in my own wedding if I stay up too late." Jin dragged the two of them inside.
They weren't able to protest as they were locked in the room with Jin forcing them to sleep.

Taehyung and Jimin made their way to the room where Jin was waiting.
It was the morning of the wedding day and everyone was up their feet.
He opened the door and the first thing that welcomed them was Jin's breathtakingly handsome face.
"Jinie!" He blurted out as he rushed to go to the older who's smiling brightly at him.
His face was glowing, making him no doubt the most handsome man in the room at the moment.
"You look breathtaking!" He commented as he held the older's hands.
"Just wow!" Jimin whistled, making the two laugh.
"Do I look good?" Jin asked, clearly excited but a bit nervous.
He's wearing a white suit that highlighted his broad shoulders and amazing physique.
The color made him look innocent and pure, matching his handsome face.
"Bitch! Good is an understatement! I bet Namjoon would want to bang you the moment he sees you!" Jimin blurted out in a not so quiet way that had Jin blushing in embarrassment.
The stylists laughed at Jimin's remarks, making Jin's ears redden even more.
"Go ahead and shout it for the world to hear." Jin shakes his head to which Jimin just laughed.
"At least I'm telling the truth." Jimin answered, winking at the older.
Jin couldn't stop shaking his head as a goofy smile was plastered on his lips.
"Taehyung, could you take this person out." Jin said, making Taehyung laugh.
"My pleasure." He answered, dragging Jimin to the door.
"Congratulations, hyung!" Taehyung said before leaving.
"You really look good, Jin!" Jimin said as the two of them finally left.
They made their way outside to the garden where the wedding will take place.
The ceremony will just be simple and intimate, with only the closest people to Namjoon and Jin.
This was what the two had wanted. They don't want an extravagant wedding which wasn't too hard to do considering Namjoon's wealth.
However, they settled for a simple yet meaningful wedding with the closest friends and relatives.
"I'll just look for my man." Jimin said.
"Yeah, sure." Taehyung responded as he sat on one of the empty chairs.
There's still half an hour left before the start of the wedding ceremony.
He fished his phone out of his pocket as he took a picture of the whole place, appreciating the simple yet elegant set up and decorations of the garden.
He was busy looking around when he stopped, hand freezing as his eyes settled on the man who's making his way toward the venue.
His raven hair flowing softly with the cool breeze.
His smile as bright as the morning sun.
His face as breathtaking as ever.
Even from the distance, Taehyung could recognize him.
All of him.
However, he's not alone.
He has in his arms, a little boy who has raven hair and an undeniable resemblance to the ravenette.
As they went closer, Taehyung couldn't mistake hearing the little boy's voice as he keeps on calling Jungkook "Daddy."
