Garnet: (stays silent)

Memories of the past rush back into Garnet's head. All those years of being alone and crying. Ruby, Sapphire, and Rose trying to comfort her during those hard times...

FLASHBACK

Garnet: (sobs on the couch)
W-where?! Why?! Pea-Pearl!!!

Sapphire: (tries to calm down Garnet)
Shhhh Garnet...
Calm down!

Ruby: Why the hell did she just leave?!
(paces room in fury)

Sapphire: I-I don't know...
Garnet?

Garnet:
(covers face with pillow and cries harder)

Sapphire: Do you know why she left?

Garnet: (sniffs and wipes eyes with palm)

(looks away and coughs)
Pearl always said that she wanted to-

Ruby: (yells)

Why would Pearl do this?

Sapphire: (brushes Garnet's hair with fingers)

Garnet: (mumbles quietly)

Ruby and Sapphire: Hm?

Garnet: (whimpers and clears throat)
She wanted to l-leave Beach City...

FlASH BACK ENDS

Garnet: I-I'm sorry...
(lifts up glasses and covers eyes with hand)

Pearl: (knocks on door and enters room)
Garnet? I have lunch!

Garnet: (keeps back to Pearl)

Pearl: Garnet, are you alright?
(puts lunch on bed and walks toward Garnet)

Pearl places herself in front of her lover.
Garnet still had her hand covering her eyes so Pearl couldn't see her crying. The pale girl puts her hands on Garnet's arms and gently pulls them away from her face. She then takes off her shades and sets them aside. Garnet's eyes were closed shut and covered from the stains of tears. Pearl opened her mouth to say something but then closed it. She closed up the space between them and places a gentle kiss on her girlfriend's lips.

Garnet: (pulls away and hugs Pearl)

Pearl: What happe-

Garnet: (whispers)
Don't leave me, don't leave me ever again...

Pearl: (confused)
I was only gone for a an hour

Garnet: No, I mean when you left Beach City 6 years ago!

Pearl: (embraces hug)
I won't...
Has that  been bothering you lately?

Garnet: Hm
(nods)

Pearl: Stop worrying, I won't
(pulls away from hug and grabs lunch)
Now let's eat and finish these questions together!

Garnet: (puts head on Pearl's shoulder)

I was bullied a lot back in high-school. They used mean words and physically hit me.
